Food was ok, nothing special. It was fresh got Cesar salad with chick, buffalo chick sub and Blt sub. Portions in subs skimpy but tasty. Probably would not go back. Prices alittle high but not bad.

yum. earlier today, while waiting for my lady to get out of phys therapy, i stopped in to this little italian café for a snack. but when i saw the menu(after being greeted warmly), my mouth watered, and i decided to ask some questions. the nice italian(i presume) lady behind the counter told me which HOMEMADE soup was fresher, and listing the salad dressing choices. i just had about the best lunch experience one could ask for in a cummings locale. thirteen bucks, but three people could have eaten from it. the grilled chicken was definitely cooked in-house AND it was made with a rosemary rub — delicious. their vegetarian menu is surprisingly extensive, and even their coffee was good(that’s saying a lot, since i am wicked picky about my coffee). the weather was pretty decent, so i sat outside on their nice little tiered patio at an umbrella table. lemme tell you all, this soup was EXCELLENT. i WILL be back again, most certainly. –mik augustin

new place from what I can tell. ordered a grilled chicken & grilled veggie salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Chicken is cooked ahead of time and is cold but you can tell it was cooked today. The veggies were delicious! Staff is wonderful and attentive. Many regulars which is a good sign. Only 2 small tables which can be a problem for those visiting the area; original authentic Italian cuisine infused to accommodate el americano! Haha good place; will come back

The food here is fresh, delicious, and homemade. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The family that runs it are darling people and you can tell the food is made with care and love. All the ingredients that they use are fresh and high quality. The prices are fair for the location and the wait time is usually short(I think you can call ahead too if you want!). This is my favorite place to grab a bite in Cummings Center.

I can not say enough great things about this restaraunt! Their food is tastier than some high priced Italian restaraunts that I have been to. Everything that I have ordered has been above exceptional. I normally do not order Italian out because I am Italian and no one cooks like my Mom… except these folks.(shhh) And their prices are great, as well. And their staff is very friendly and accomodating. Run to check them out ASAP!

I love this place! the food is always fresh, the home made meatballs are delicious and they also use fresh top of the line cold cuts, fast and friendly service at more than reasonable prices, the kind of place you go 2 – 3 times a week and don’t forget the home made SOUPS !! five shiny stars !!

Cute family operation with delicious lunchtime options and excellent service. Lentil soup is a little salty but is made fresh and good for soup days. Tiramisu is great as are the italian sub and chicken salad options.

Yet another addition to the food choices available for those spending their days at the Cummings Center in Beverly, and it is a very welcome one. Several different pasta dishes, along with hearty salad portions, are offered. Oddly enough, however, they don’t have alfredo(white) sauce. They have regular tomato, which is somewhat spicy and has a nice kick, and pesto as the pasta toppings. I hope they introduce alfredo, or some other options but they’re new so I’ll give them a chance to get going before expecting more variety. The prices are great for the Cummings Center. Places tend to up their prices substantially when they know you’re trapped in the building, so to speak. The wait time isn’t bad. It all depends what time you go– obviously, lunch hours are going to be busier. The staff is very nice, and will help you if you have questions about the ingredients. If you’re at the Cummings Center, do yourself a lunch favor and check out Il Tramezzino. The food is great, the price is right, and it’s a nice break from the typical sandwiches and so so bagels you can get at other restaurants in the building.
