On my friend’s recommendation I chose SWAT to secure my business. Their pricing was very competitive and the personalized service was a refreshing change from my past dealings with ADT. I was not pressured into buying more equipment or service than I needed and everyone from the office staff to the field technicians were very polite. In fact, the SWAT installer was the only technician that has ever come to by business and swept up after himself! I highly recommend their service and don’t really understand the negative reviews.

CONSUMER BEWARE! Make sure you read the fine print of this companies contract, as your contract will automatically renew with no way out. After 8 years of being a loyal customer, customer loyalty didn’t matter. I was charged for an entire year after giving them a four month notice of cancellation due to moving my operation.

My family has been protected by SWAT for over 15 years now. No gimmicks, hands-​down the best security services that are available in West LA. The technology components that they use are state of the art, the customer service is second to none, the security protocols that they adhere to are top-​caliber.
I would recommend SWAT over Time Warner, ADT, and many of the other huge companies in LA. Who wants to deal with a big company when you can have quality boutique service.
All you have to do is drive around Beverly Hills and you can see that many homeowners and business owners choose SWAT because when it comes to your home, your family, or your business… security matters!

UPDATE: NO I am not confusing SWAT with another company. This happened some time ago, but i just recently decided to write the review, also to be fair the monitoring was $ 30, not $ 39.95, so I’ve amended that, so ignore any feedback from the company trying to discredit my review:
This company is really brutal when it comes to home monitoring. My husband purchased a house that had their system already installed and an employee came out to activate it. First he told me that crime was up in my neighborhood, which was not true. Then he went on to tell me a story about a friend who lived nearby who had been robbed the week before, and everything was stolen because he didn’t have monitoring. Funny thing is, Santa Monica Police had no record of such of a robbery when we inquired. Then, when I wanted to install some extras, I was told they wouldn’t do it unless I signed up for monitoring and ‘passed’ on our request. Also being a family run business, they are very slow to answer emails, sometimes taking weeks, and almost never return phone calls. Stay away from this company unless you want to get hammered and held hostage with their monitoring demands which is the main way they make money. If you don’t sign up for monitoring, they will not install a video surveillance package, they won’t install an enhanced keyboard (which they claim requires an ‘update’ when connected to monitoring) and you’ll be considered a rogue customer using their hardware and not putting 30 bucks in their pocket every month with their outsourced monitoring service.
