As exquisite, handmade mechanical watches come back in fashion, Piaget is a manufacturer in somewhat of a unique position — the uncomprised engineering of their movements is matched by the artistry of how time is presented to the wearer.
Equally unique was my experience in their store. I’m not wealthy enough to consider a purchase like a Piaget another piece of «bling» — it’s an investment, and one might expect the staff at a store which sells five– and six– figure watches would be distant and aloof.
Based on my experience, one would be wrong. Sales Associate Mark was most helpful and knowledgeable, answering questions and describing which options were available to me. Granted, the store was not busy — on this Sunday afternoon, I was the only customer — but I really could not have had a better sales experience.
There are many watchmakers vying for customers in this market, and many excellent watches available. Piaget’s Beverly Hills location, which has been open for about a year, offers a one-​of-​a-​kind product and buying experience. I hope, and expect, they will succeed with it.

Beautiful but…
Piaget is one of my favorite jewelry boutiques and I was excited to learn one opened in Beverly Hills. There is a style of wedding bands I had to see in person as s potential option for my fiancé so I visited in Aug 2014 right after my engagement.
I visited with my bestie who’s been in the fine jewelry and luxury watch business for over 15 years so I knew what to expect service wise. The consultants in the boutique that day mostly ignored us as we ooooh-​ed and ahhh-​ed over many stunning pieces. Finally one lady (I have her name here on her business card but I will leave it out of this review) came over and pulled out the men’s wedding bands for us. These are definitely 5 star pieces (as is every selection in the store). However, I just felt as though the consultant did not take me seriously. She seemed distracted or rushed. As it turned out I was right.
She was supposed to follow up with me a few days later and she did not. Also when I called in, my call was never returned.
Looks like I’ll be taking my business to a company with better service like Tacori despite my love for this particular Piaget wedding band. When you spend this much on fine jewelry or timepieces you deserve the best service along with the purchase.

Piaget is a beautiful watch store. I came here to talk to one of the master watch people about our Piaget watch. He was somewhat informative, somewhat helpful.
