I was new to California and found Ona on Unilocal… She is a sweet and amazing person who really made me feel relaxed.
She sewed in extensions which she had in stock. I have reused the extensions since as the quality is superb!
Ona did an amazing job with my hair, it was so flat and neat, I felt like she took her time to make it perfect… I absolutely loved it! I would definitely recommend her if you are looking to have extensions sewn in!

Ona does amazing work… my hair for my wedding was flawless the whole night! It came out absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend her services and she is a amazing person.

Thank you for your response, however, I have to point out inconsistencies about what you have stated. First, I specifically asked over the phone for a price quote, and I kept getting referred to purchase the «Express Consulation» without any mention of price and without any mention about creating a profile to view the price. This is the first time I am hearing about creating a profile. Besides that, it doesn’t make sense to me that I should have to create a profile just to know the price of a service.
Second, I was on time. I was already on my way to your salon when I received a call from you asking if I could come in 15 minutes earlier and I was still on time. The mishap happened because I was waiting for you in the lobby, where you asked me to wait. Yet, I didn’t see you. Then I called and even left a message. When I finally got a hold of you, you gave me another place to meet you. Please, if you are going to «apologize» on Unilocal,do not give false information. I am always on time to my appointments, and if I know that I won’t be, I call ahead letting people know that I’m running behind. People who know me can vouch that I live my life with integrity, so you stating information otherwise either tells me that you are not aware of what truly happened, or you are trying to make something up that didn’t happen. My original disappointment with the «Express Consultation» still stands. However the response laced with inconsistent information makes me truly grateful that I did not pursue this service. The way you do one thing is how you do everything. Best to you.

Ona continues to be the only person I let style my hair. I’ve been coming to her for about 5 years and the last two years, I’ve been traveling 50 miles for her services. She’s the best and I trust her with my hair and my children’s hair. Great work! You won’t be disappointed.

I went to Ona and she gave my hair the care that it needed. As a working mom of a preschooler, I have been so busy that I had neglected my hair. my hair was dry and brittle but I knew who to call to get my hair back into shape. It was Ona to the rescue! She touched it and evaluated it and knew just what to do. After only one treatment, my hair feels so much better. I will be returning to get a follow-​up treatment to be on the road back to healthy hair. I had questions about weaving my hair and she was patient and listened to my concerns. Some time ago I decided to try one of Ona’s custom units. Ona has done my hair for quite a while now but I previously only got sew-​in extensions. I was really apprehensive about switching to a full wig because I HATE the way wigs look and I can always tell.
After Ona created my wig and put it on for the first time I was literally BLOWN away by how amazing it looked. It was completely undetectable and the best color and style of hair extensions I had ever received. I whole-​heartedly became a Ona custom wig convert after that.
The best part about Ona’s custom units is that it really transforms your hair. My hair is so healthy since the switch and has gown at least 4 inches (at least).

I met Ona through a mutual friend whose hair I loved every time I saw it done., I finally got the courage to try her out for myself and was very impressed. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to hair. She is also very much into natural hair care. She wont just slap a weave on you and worry about your real hair later. My biggest pet peeve when it comes to hair stylist is when you ask them to give you a certain look or style and the result is not what you asked for. With Ona you get what you ask for. She is very good at taking suggestions and doesn’t get offended when she gets feedback. Some stylist can be very touchy. Bottom line… if you like getting what you asked for and better than go see Ona. She is very professional and you will more than likely leave with a new friend.

All I have to say is AMAZING!!! I started going to Ona J about 2 years ago. I was a little skeptic at first just because I have never gone to any other hair stylist besides my mother and her best friend who have been hair stylist for well over 30 yrs, so going to Ona was a big change for and I was amazed! her pressing skills are precise! she makes sure every strand of hair is straight! Her styles are gorgeous!!! She knows what she is doing! and her prices are reasonable!
