Just got home from having my hair done with Melanie and I have to say — It Looks Fabulous!
I found her through Groupon, and I was partially in shock that they had Black Hair Care professionals on the site, and then someone who did thermal press; I had to try it out. I was not disappointed! She knows hair, not just products. She also didn’t try to up-​sell me, which I really appreciated. She instead talked to me about what products I was using and what were the goals for my hair. She’s really GOOD at what she does!

Melanie is a work of wonder with your hair when to sit in her chair. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to your hair. Melanie will never do something to your hair if she feels it would damage it. Since meeting Melanie my hair has always been on point. No one is allowed to touch my hair but her. I recommend her to everyone. She saved my hair.

Color and short cut expert!
Throughout the last 10 years I’ve experimented color, texture, and length — Melanie has been along for the ride. When I craved color, but my hair wasn’t ready, Melanie did not hesitate to let me know. Her honesty built a foundation of trust and mutual respect.
Over the years she has straightened my natural hair, installed extensions, created works of art with scissors/​shears, and colored it more times than I can count. She is professional and consistent.

Melanie is amazing! I am so happy to have found her. No one else was able to cut or style my natural curls until I met her. I am still in shock that I met a stylist that can give me smooth and bouncy curls without the frizz. When I want length she does my sew in extensions and they always match my hair perfectly. When she takes them out I don’t loose half my hair with them. The best part is that she has expanded her service so I not only get my hair done closer to home, I get it done AT home because she makes house calls to Studio City now! I can’t say enough good things about Melanie and I would rate her 10 stars if i could.

ME is an outstanding stylist who understands the science of haircare. I have been going to her for several years and my hair was damaged. ME used her scientific educational knowledge to revive a dead head into healthy, thick, and beautiful flowing hair. I would recommend her without a doubt. She is friendly, patient and listens to what the customer is trying to achieve.
