Norman Lepor, MD

Dr Lepor is truly an amazing doctor! My 86 year old mother has been his patient for the last two years. I have great confidence in him. He is very through, very knowledgeable and very smart. He takes his time to answer questions and is also funny and kind. I am so grateful he still chooses to take Medicare, so that the non-​wealthy can have access to such an excellent cardiologist. After trying several other practices, I am so glad to have finally found a cardiologist whom I can trust. His entire staff is also very helpful and kind. My only slight complaint is it can be very hard to reach him as he is often out of the office or traveling. But his overall excellence still warrants five stars.

Dr. Lepor is a superb heart specialist with stellar training and credentials. If you read his qualifications you’ll soon realize he is at the top of his field with cutting edge. You will be in the best of hands under his care for a multitude of reasons. He is a triple board certified physician who is an innovator and collaborator with other equally brilliant medical minds for the future of medicine. It is representative of a doctor who is truly passionate about his work. Therefore, his dedication and skills remain at the forefront of medicine.
Even though I do not have heart disease, I am periodically monitored by Dr. Lepor for preventive cardiology due to family history. In addition, I recently discovered another cardiac genetic risk factor evidencing itself through lab tests because of Dr. Lepor’s knowledge and expertise. This doctor truly aims to protect his patients from the unknown of what could prove to be harmful or even fatal.
His office accepts a number of insurance plans which makes it affordable to see him. He is a wonderful person with a warm personality and smile who listens to discuss any concerns you may have. The nurses and front desk team who run his office treat you like family. They are all very helpful, wonderfully efficient and actually greet you by first name with a smile!
I am female and have always been on top of my preventive cardiac health. Ladies! Men are not the sole gender at risk for heart disease or its possible malfunction! I was surprised to discover despite increasing awareness over the past decade of known risks to women’s cardiac health, 54% of all women today remain completely unaware it is the foremost number one leading cause of death among White Caucasian and African American women of all ages in the USA. Tremendous medical advancements continually offer diagnostics, prevention, treatments and interventions that are readily available to maintain your optimal cardiac health for a lifetime. It’s not what you know, it’s what you don’t know that has potential to harm you.

Norman was recommended to me by my primary physician to get cardio clearancefor my upcoming spinal surgery. I don’t have any cardio problems but if I did I would look forward to putting myself in his hands. Meeting him was a rare experience for a patient meeting a physician for the first time. Just a wonderful comforting doctor.

This guy calls his patients… just to say thanks for being his patient.
But then, if you knew him, you’d completely get how that fits with his bedside manner.
This guy, he not only saves and changes lives, he teaches tomorrow’s cardiologists how to do it as well. And I’ve been there when he’s had students, and it’s pretty cool to see him in action both treating me, and in action teaching a student. It’s cool. Real cool.
And this guy? He’s funny. It’s a subtle kind of funny. It’s hysterical.
I was referred to Dr. LePor after I failed a Rubidium Heart Stress test. He has been treating me for a couple years now… and to tell ya, I’ve never been healthier.
Ok… maybe maybe that last one was a bit o’ hyperbole, but if he’d been your doctor who brought ya back to a healthy level you’ve not had in many a day… you’d be bent towards hyperbole as well.
I think, if you read what others say, you’ll start to see why you probably won’t hate it should you be under his care.

Dr Lepor is attentive, considerate and entirely focused on you while with him. He’s easy to get a hold of when you need him. Great office staff supporting him as well. Basically he’s a totally modern doctor who practices the way we remember doctors a generation ago. When you need him, you’ve got him.

This is not a review but a statement of gratitude. It is very rare that one can afford or have access to the best of the best. A visit to Dr. Lepor is like having dinner at LA’s best restaurant prepared by a world renown Chef and served by a caring professional Waitstaff. I always leave his office feeling more hopeful and better than when I first go in… A rare experience involving matters of the heart.

What can a person do but be very ecstatic to find the best of the best when it comes to a heart specialist. Doctor Lepor has a very up beat personality and gives each one of his patients the time necessary to not only understand any heart health issues but to also give you the time to ask and then answer your questions. If you are looking for the best you need not look any further, as Doctor Lepor and his staff are on top of their game.
I went into a clinical trial with Doctor Lepor and I now have a solution to my statin Intolerant situation regarding my LDL levels. Doctor Lepor’s assistant Anna has been fantastic and very easy to communicate with during and after the trial and has made the ease of going through the trial more than tolerable. Anna has made the continuation and follow up of the trial a breeze and would highly recommend anyone to their office. If you want the best, Doctor Lepor and Anna will not disappoint. We only have one heart and I am glad to have been referred to Doctor Lepor through my cousin.

I was referred to Dr. Lepor by my physician and my experience was a very good one. Dr. Lepor has a fantastic personality and under one of the most stressful periods of my life, was always up beat, funny and confident. Daisy and the rest of his office staff were fantastic in every way. I was having some issues after my stent procedure and went back for followup, and all was handled with calm and precision until we discovered that it was a reaction I was having to a statin that I was put on after diagnosis. I continue to go to Dr. Lepor and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a cardiologist.

I have been using Dr. Lepor for many years. He is the reason I am alive today. I can’t say enough good things about him. I had an appointment this morning and he had a new receptionist Daisy. I must say she was warm and friendly a big improvement over his old receptionist.

Dr. Lepore has been treating my 92 year old aunt after her recent heart attack. He is a top notch cardiologist who happens to also be a really nice guy who cares about the well being of his patients. Our long time doctor referred us to him by telling us Dr. Lepor is who he sends his own family members to. The staff are friendly and professional as well. Dr. Lepore has guided my aunt from the scariest moment of her life to an active life. I’d say his heart is in the right place (pun intended).

I went to Dr. Lepor for a second opinion. I wanted to make sure that my current cardiologist was asking the correct questions an was recommending the right treatment. Dr. Lepor was patient and thorough. He understood my condition, listened to my history and current treatment régime, and recommended next steps for my cardiologist to consider. If I didn’t already have a cardiologist, I would go with Dr. Lepor in a flash.

Dr Lepor is not only an excellent cardiologist but he is a very kind and caring man. He has treated me since 2006 and I have received excellent and thorough treatment for my cardiomyopathy. He diagnosed me right away and due to his excellent treatment my issues have resolvedI would highly recommend Dr Lepor. His staff is always attentive and you can reach someone always without being sent to voice mail

Dr. Lepor is highly skilled and experienced in his field. He is considered one of the best. I have only wonderful things to say about him and I am very happy with the care I receive from him. Wonderful bedside manners and his staff is always pleasant and on time.

In May of 2007 I went to Cedars Sinai hospital because I’d been having terrible chest pains, I was 48 years old and had never smoked and never been over weight. I couldn’t understand what was happening because one minute I was in the ER and the next I was being rushed into the Cath Lab. It was then that I met Doctor Lepor.
He has a very relaxed manor and is one of a very few who truly cares about their patients, I was a stranger to him and he took the time to help me understand. Since that time he has been my doctor and I will never go to anyone else. He’s a rare doctor who cares in a vast sea of doctors who only want your money. If this man ever retires, I’m screwed! Love this guy!

With my atril fib banging away in my chest I was in situation and needed help. My family doc, Dr. Jeff Grant, said there was only one guy and sent me right over to Dr. Lepor’s office a few blocks away. Of course they were having a busy morning but they fit me into the schedule and I got to see Dr. Lepor and he helped me out, explained the meds he was giving me and what course we will need to follow going forward. Dr. Lepor has a congenial manner and conveyed what needs to be done for my condition in a calm, informative manner.

Dr. Lepor is an excellent cardiologist. He has helped me chemically manage my A-​Fib for the past five years without surgery or pacemaker. His demeanor is always upbeat and his office staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend him.
