Nicole Herzog, MD

Arrived 30 minutes early for my interview w Dr Herzog, after 15 minutes of waiting after my scheduled time an assistant finally let me know the Dr. Was running behind. Sitting in the waiting room I’m unimpressed. The room isn’t very clean with dirty torn seats and sticky seat rails. The two toys available for children, a play house and an old wooden toy look like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. I asked how often the waiting room and toys are cleaned and I was told 2 – 3 times a day, I really can’t believe that. I understand that things with children can get a little dirty sometimes but this is just grimy. I’m still trying to keep an open mind since I haven’t met the dr yet, but so far she’s running 20 min behind and I’ve been here for 50 min…
Finally met the Dr and she was lovely, and very knowledgable but since she only works two days a week you never know who you might see since there are 8 doctors in the practice. This place unfortunately is not a good match for me.

Dr. Herzog has been our pediatrician from the beginning– we have been seeing her for 27 months. She is fantastic. Excellent bedside manner, non alarmist, thorough. We love her.
The practice has several physicians, so we have seen a couple of the others when baby was sick. They are equally as good. The office validates parking (a rarity!), and they never run late– we are always seen within 15 minutes of arriving.
