No doubt that it’s a beautiful salon but I had the absolute WORST service from the stylist JOEY.
I was supposed to go for a haircut, and they confirmed with me the day before. The appointment was @10 AM and I woke up at 8 AM which is very rare since I’m not much of a morning person… Plus was driving up from the OC. I get a phone call from Joey @8:55 am cancelling the appointment because apparently he double booked… Which is NOT my problem. He should’ve figured his schedule out properly with his receptionist. I was so pissed off that I wasted a whole morning. So unprofessional !!! He offered a free conditioning but honestly I will never visit this salon ever again. Total waste of my bloody time. Good bye forever.

Karen Smith is amazing at not only cutting/​styling but color. I trust her so much that I let her do whatever she wants making it always fun and such a joy to have an appointment with her.

After moving to LA from Chicago I struggled finding someone to cut and color my hair. I was referred to Anthony Morrison by a friend and could not be happier that I followed her advice. Anthony is fabulous! He took my hair a few shades lighter upon my request and nailed my color. The haircut goes without saying is the best cut I’ve gotten! Cassie his assistant is a total gem! They both feel like family. Love, love, love them both!

Anthony Morrison is the best thing to ever happen to my hair. I have thin fine dry hair. And I have had so many horrible experiences with people bringing my hair back to blonde and horrible cuts that make it look thinner. But I found Anthony Morrison about 6 years ago. I had been dying my hair black/​brown for about 10 years because I was afraid to fry off my hair again trying to go back to blonde (my natural color) …I really wanted to go back to my Blonde color. When I actually got the courage to do it, I researched the best stylists in California for about 2 months. I came across Anthony’s name a lot and my boyfriend at the time now husband said he recognized Anthony’s name also. So I thought, okay I’m just going to do it. I was super nervous, as in the past I’ve had to live with orangey fried hair for weeks while trying to get lighter. So I tried to mentally prepare for that. I am more insecure about my thin hair then anything else. But when I met Anthony and his staff, he was so knowledgeable and confident that he was going to make it look amazing, it calmed me down. The first time I went to him he took me from black to blonde and made my hair look thicker and healthier then ever in my life. I never liked the way my hair looked until he did it. I’ve never left him since, 6 year later I now drive from Orange County to Beverly Hills every time I get my hair done. I’ll never go to anyone else no matter where I live. In the last six years I went from black to blonde to brown to redish brown to dark brown to blonde again.
I always know he’s going to do amazing things and make me feel beautiful. I feel lucky to have met him.
The like the Jose eber salon also. It is pretty and everyone is always nice.
So I highly recommend the salon and I highly highly recommend Anthony Morrison, especially if you’ve had been experiences in the past with other stylist, or Afraid of trying something new. He’ll make sure you walk out looking better then ever ! Love my hair and Anthony. Id give 100 stars if I could!

I’ve had the privileged to have had my hair coloured by Karin Smith, the best Colorist at Jose Eber, for over 10 years. I recently took a year break (only to cut expenses) and boy was that a huge mistake! My hair started to break and turned orange — due to going to cheaper salons. I recently went back and walked out feeling like a million bucks! I highly recommend Karyn for Color. She’s the Best in Beverly Hills especially for blonds! I promise!

I’ve gone to Jose since another colorist ruined my hair (turned it so platinum it was white and I looked like Draco Malfoy). I see Mimi and she is beyond wonderful — quick, talented and makes hair maintenance not a chore.
I now live on the East Coast and almost time my visits home so I can see her!

I recently moved back to California after living in the Midwest for a few years. Moving back and landing a new job I felt it was time for a new hair style. I really had no idea what, how, where to begin with all of this. After consulting with my mother about the change I was looking to do she replied, «Go to Anthony and he will take care of you.» Anthony has been doing my moms hair for years and since day one, has kept her very stylish and hip with the times, so I knew he was the man for me!
When I arrived to see Anthony, he welcomed me with open arms! He sat me down and asked me what I was looking to do. I told him, I am 26 and in a new sales position where most of the clients I work with are much older than me. I told him I wanted something sharp and stylish, where I could be taken seriously as the youngest person in the room. I wanted to be able to walk into a meeting looking like a million bucks and be able to close the million dollar deals.
After discussing what I was looking for, he gave me a few options. It was great to hear and actually have him walk me through many of the different options that he had in mind for me. Ultimately, I just told him to do his thing, 45 minute later, I felt like I belonged on the cover of People Magazine. A perfect cut to fit my facial structure. Shorter on the sides with a nicely textured cut on top. Most importantly the style is easy for me to maintain, all I do is take some gel rub it around and brush it to the side and I am on my way. Anthony is the man!!! Not only will he make you feel and look like a million bucks but you will see ladies heads turn as you walk down the street!
Some other points I wanted to add for all you Unilocalers, that furthers his credibility and experience:
–Anthony is extremely friendly, having a bad day? Anthony is the one who can turn that around. Great person to talk to!
–Know nothing about hair, coloring, styling, etc? Anthony is an expert in his field and can educate you while he cuts. In addition, he uses his days off to teach his assistants, peers, and students the knowledge he has developed from his many years in the business. Might I add, his assistant Cassie is wonderful! She is the next protégé from the Anthony Morrison olive branch, so watch out world!
–Anthony has traveled around the world perfecting his craft.
–Anthony is one of the leaders in the industry, in fact he is the SEASON 1 CHAMPION of the Brovo show Shear Genius (very prestigious competition to win)!!!
In closing, Anthony is not the one to brag, so I had to brag for him. If you want a top tier haircut from one of the best in the industry I highly suggested you book an apt with Anthony. He has had my mom as a customer since I was born and will have me as a customer for the rest of my life. Bravo Anthony, keep up the good work! Thanks for all that you do.

Anthony Morrison, who was the original winner of Jacqueline Smith’s TV show «Sheer Genius,» was my hairdresser for years at his Londoner Salon in Manhattan Beach before he recently moved to the Jose Eber Salon in Beverly Hills. Because Anthony’s cut and color are so fabulous, I had to follow him and had my first visit there this morning and I’m thrilled. The salon is lovely and has a smart coffee bar inside. And Anthony brought his charming assistant, Cassie, with him, so I felt right at home. There is plenty of inexpensive Beverly Hills City parking right around the corner on Brighten Way (first two hours free!). Great new home, Anthony

I got my hair done by ANTHONY and his assistant CASSIE.
here’s my story;
I got my hair done on Thursday night 10÷8÷2015 «trailer trash» blonde at a salon in Costa Mesa since it was a lot closer to home. I HATED it they did not make it the way I was hoping for, I wanted a natural look and they gave me fake yellow hair and I wasted $ 300 on that hair (tip included)
I kept it for 24hrs and decided I couldn’t live with my hair like this any longer and called José Eber Salon on Saturday 10/​10/​2015 at 2pm. I live in Cypres so LA was about a 45 minute drive. Once I got in I had a consultation with Todd and José himself. I told them I wanted to go Brownish Red. José said it could be done but it would be a «BIG BIG BIG JOB!» which I knew BIG MONEY. lol also, Todd asked me if I wanted a hair cut, I let him know I got one down when I went to the other Salon and he showed me how uneven it was :((I didn’t get the hair cut again)
Anthony was my stylists and he was the BEST!!! I was in a time crunch since I had work at 6pm all the way in Orange. They rushed but didn’t do a bad job what so ever. He was super kind and very funny. I loved how my hair came out he for sure got it right! I love it so much. I will be making my appointments with him from now on.
I was an hour and half late to work but it was completely worth it! Unfortunately I barley had any cash with me so I could only give a shitty tip. I felt so bad but I thought we could give tip on our cards since all the places I’ve ever been to allowed it. so I APOLOGIZE! My total hair came out to $ 450. which sucks because I spent over $ 700 on my hair all together. I learned my lesson José Eber is worth the drive!
I will always be making my hair appointments here for now on. Back in April/​March? I got my hair (color) by MICHELLE durning my first visit ever and she was AMAZING as well.

Have been coming here for over 20 years. Karine is my colorist and I love her! Anyone who can turn dark brown into blonde that people think is my natural color is a goddess! Love the place although I remember it was intimidating at first but it feels like old friends there now. So many years later I can’t even imagine going anywhere else. I’ve watched my friends hair break off, fall out and turn orange from other stylists… NOT HERE! This place is truly MAGICAL! :Pamper yourself… try it!

Karen is amazing at what she does. She cut my hair and colored it exactly how I wanted. She’s very welcoming and the salon overall is very nice.

Jose Eber Salon is great! Anthony Morrison is the only stylist I will let cut my hair. I moved away from California and still travel back to get my hair done by him. He is wonderful and always knows what to do with my mess of curly hair. He makes my curls beautiful and full without any frizz. Perfection!

The salon is beautiful and the staff are professional and talented. I especially appreciate the quality of the color and cut I got from Anthony Morrison, who, although he’s kind of a celebrity, is really down to earth & genuine. He must use four different colors to get the natural but glowing look he puts in my hair! I get compliments all the time!

Alright, I dont know how I ended up in here or what I was thinking. My GF thought I should go get hair cut here as opposed to the barber I normall go to.
Spent $ 125 bucks, and honestely, the barber does a better job. Nothing different!

I love this salon– it’s glamorous, the front desk receptionist Jennifer is always so nice and friendly. They can usually fit you in pretty quickly. My hair stylist Anthony Morrison is amazing, he’s in there on Wednesdays and he’s so great with color! :-)

I came here for my facial from Raisa Ruder. She is new to the salon but not to me. I’d follow her anywhere. She truly cares about her customers and her facials show next day results. She is gentle and always up on the latest thing for beautiful skin.

If you go to Jose Eber for a cut you HAVE to ask for Elie, he is extremely customer oriented and very knowledgable with years of experience. He gave me the best hair cut I have ever had! I have a short hair cut that’s hard to perfect but he mastered it!
Man knows how to work some scissors.
Trust me, u won’t be disappointed.

Love this salon… specifically ELIE! Ladies if you need a FAB updo for an event, look no further. Elie is a master of his craft and will make your hair beautiful! It is so so (SO) hard to find someone who is artistic and fresh when it comes to his/​her updo designs. Before I found Elie, everywhere I’d go for an up do, I’d leave thinking ‘I could’ve done this myself!’
I’m going to get my hair cut and styled by Elie soon, so I’ll report back once that’s done. I’ve attached sine pictures of Elie’s work here so take a peek! I got so many compliments on it :-)
