This place is awesome and fast. I always think it’s funny it seems like the food arrives three or four minutes after I hung up the phone

I love JJ, but last week ordered #6 with no avocado and it had no mayo, this week ordered #6 with no avocado and it had avocado on it, someday it will be right! Today they got it right!!!

I love this location! Martin is seriously the best thing that could happen to this place. I ordered and received the wrong sandwich. I realized it after I got all the way home. I called and spoke with Martin and he gave the most sincere apology and delivered the correct sandwich to me at work the following day. This will definitely be my lunch spot. Mistakes happen, but good customer can make all the difference.

This is kind of an odd place. I came in recently for a late lunch and counted 14 employees milking around the place. Since we’re working, some we’re just eating or socializing. It’s nice of my business, but I think this location is overstaffed. Anyways, as far as the food goes… I ordered a #5 «Vito». It was just OK. It was a rather dull boring sandwich. The bread was soft with just the right amount of chew, which I like. But the meat was average, and I didn’t even notice if there were any veggies in it; generally forgetful. On the bright side they did make the sandwich freaky fast. No sooner had I filled my cup of water when the sandwich done and waiting for me. I probably won’t return to try any other items on their menu, especially since they don’t offer any hot sandwiches.

So this isn’t really Jimmy Johns, Jimmy Johns is built and made their name on fast delivery service. This is an opportunist Jimmy Johns, they won’t even deliver 1.8 Miles away… this place is a joke. Oh and not only is it a joke, they have the nerve to be condescending and rude when you come pick stuff up… hey you’re Still Jimmy Johns, even though you are in Beverly Hills

Jimmy John’s beats Jersey Mike’s hands down. The sandwiches are a little different, not better or worse. But, the service is far more efficient. Jimmy John also delivers quickly and inexpensively, a huge bonus. And, it is less expensive than Jersey Mike. Sorry Mike, I am going to stick with Jimmy from now on.

Disappointed. I love Jimmy Johns and am a frequent patron. I’ve never been to the Beverly Hills location and will not return. The bread was not fresh. I wouldn’t say it was hard as a rock, but it definitely wasn’t as soft as it should be. Parking was also difficult, no parking lot so you have to find street parking. No thanks!

Clueless, slow, bad customer service. I tried Jimmy Johns for the first time on Friday August 28th. Because I was time constrained, I ordered the seven sandwiches that I needed for a meeting early in the morning over Jimmy John’s internet portal. I thought to myself at the time, «How amazing and convenient to be able to order my sandwiches early and then just drop in at 11:15am to pick them up right before my meeting!» Alas, no. I arrived at Jimmy Johns at the appointed 11:15am and there were ZERO sandwiches ready for me. In fact, they hadn’t even received my order from their internet portal!(Although, strangely, the internet portal was able to charge my credit card!) No apologies from the staff. I asked for the manager, who was busy talking on a personal call on her iPhone. When she finally put down her iPhone, she came over and said«we will make your order right now while you wait. We’re fast.» Well, they were not fast. I waited over FIFTEEN minutes for the NINE people behind the counter to make my SEVEN sandwiches. It was a crazy and chaotic scene. Literally no one else was in the store(since it was 11:15am), and the nine people working behind the counter were tripping over each other and messing things up over and over again while the manager stood off to the side and continued to talk on her iPhone. I asked myself, «Am I on Candid Camera?» When it came time to give me my completed order, the worker mixed up my sandwiches with another order and then had spend another few minutes figuring out and sorting which ones went with which order. It was a total joke of a customer experience. AND, it made me late for my meeting. I will never go back to Jimmy John’s because of this experience.

Great service and incredible delivery speed. Just have to call up and helpful staff will casually go over the menu if you have any questions. Now I’ve ordered here atleast 10 times by now and they have messed up the order twice, not the worse situation because you call back and they take care of it swiftly. Thanks Jimmy Johns!

Ordering here is definitely freakishly fast. A guy slid my sandwich to me before I was finished paying. The sandwich had good flavor but very lean on the fillings, which made it considerably smaller than a comparable Jersey Mikes sub If you want speed, Jimmy John’s gets five stars. For quality, you’ll find that they hover around two stars, which Unilocal defines perfectly as «Meh, I’ve had better.»

I love reading Unilocal reviews. They’re interesting, informative, educational, entertaining and sometimes a little crazy. It’s amazing what some Unilocalers have written about Jimmy John’s. I’ve never had a sandwich from JJ’s that had«one paper thin piece» of meat on it. And if you’d rather eat at Subway that’s your choice. But why not write a review for Subway? I was first introduced to JJ’s when I was in Dallas, Fort Worth on business. We had sandwiches from them one day and I was hooked. It was a much better product than Subway. Now don’t get me wrong, I like Subway. But if I have a choice, I’m eating at JJ’s. The meat is good. The bread is good(I recently discovered their sliced whole wheat, yum!). And something that is really crazy(I even noticed another Unilocaler mention it), what’s up with that mayonnaise? It’s like crack! It’s better than TJ’s or Best Foods hands down. The price for a JJ’s sandwich is fair. Even the price for the«Hunters Club» is like $ 8 and if you truly need a bigger sandwich than that then I’m scared of you. Seriously. But where they really excel is in the delivery department. «Freakishly Fast» they say? You don’t have to wait very long when you go there to order and pick up. But the weird thing is that you don’t have to wait very long to have it delivered. I usually walk over to pick mine up but my coworkers use the delivery service all the time. It takes me about 8 minutes to walk there. How is it possible that they get their delivery in 5 minutes!!! No Joke! I know they’re riding bikes but still! It’s crazy. Try it out sometime.

This place is fast, friendly and affordable BUT you need to understand what you’re getting: ONE piece of paper thin meat and ONE piece of paper thin cheese — and that non-existent, cannot-taste-it cheese will cost you extra, by the way. ONEPAPERTHINPIECE!!! My $ 6.79 order cost them about $ 0.70 to make. Rude! Got the Turkey Tom Unwich(lettuce wrap). Sad sad sad: none of that verdant green lettuce in the pics, you get a leaf of white iceberg lettuce; that see-through shred of turkey; some tomato; and that shred of see-through cheese I added. They forgot the mayo so all I had was the Dijon I added which was too much for me without the mayo. I basically ended up with 3 little slices of tomato in an iceberg leaf with some Dijon. If you want the impression you’ve consumed anything you should go elsewhere. Never again. Sad sad sad.

I try everything once but this place is Nothing to write home about. bread kind of hard, and it really lacked flavor, for the price, I would definitely go to subway, second they will not give you a side of anything even if you are willing to pay for it because it’s «Company policy» what eva! this place is now off my radar

This place is an INstitution in Indiana college towns. I have so many good late-night memories standing in line late at night at Jimmy Johns, so my husband and I are PUMPED to see them opening a few stores here in LA. Now there’s truly no reason to go back home :) Their bread is amazing. They’ll even sell you day-old bread for $ 1 — we cut it up, put it in zip lock bags, and it lasts for a week! Soft. Soft. Soft. I’ve known people who have worked at Jimmy John’s, and I’ve heard great things about the quality of the food, and the diligence of the workers. Sandwiches come out blazing fast and perfect. Unlike at other sandwich shops, they are generous with their toppings, including the meat — I never have to ask for extra. It’s enough. They do have delivery — to a limited area — but call and check if they deliver to you!

It was really good! The bread was really fresh, I know this is a little strange but the mayo was delicious(Hellman’s is Best Foods. Just different names on different coasts, btw) and all the ingredients tasted fresh and crispy where they needed to be crispy. The chips were somewhere between kettle and regular. Kind of fun! Yummy, too. It was a little strange holding the whole sub to eat it and the extra mayo did make the insides slip around, but I dug it! I would totally go again!

My colleagues were so excited about this location opening up so close to our office, so naturally, I was stoked to try the sandwiches. The staff was friendly and the place clean, so my first impression was good. I ordered the Vito Unwich and brought it back to my office. The Unwich was tasty and fresh, and I really enjoyed it, however, I was still STARVING after I ate it. There’s simply not enough meat in there to make me full. Now, I typically eat a salad every day for lunch, so it’s not like I need carbs to satisfy me. I tried JJ’s again for lunch a few weeks later and ordered double meat… which made me kinda satisfied? I really want to give this place 4 stars, but I just can’t since I have yet to be full from their food. Will I be back? Probably… but I’ll be sure to eat a big breakfast beforehand!

First time at a Jimmy Johns… ever. I’d heard about them from people in the northwest and everyone raved that ingredients were fresh and sandwiches were tasty. Needless to say, I was thrilled when one moved into my neighborhood… I don’t have a lot of options at sub shops since I don’t eat lunch meat… so of course I got the veggie sub(2 — one for me and one for my husband). 8″ of fresh tasting french bread — loved the avocado spread. I added dijon mustard and the HOTPEPPERSARE A MUST for some spice. I forgot to ask for onions, though. Drat. Next time. Loved that they offer sprouts. The deluxe veggie doesn’t look much different than the veggie sub — I think it’s on different bread and has extra cheese — but I am not sure how that’s worth the 2 extra dollars? I guess I should ask next time. Got two bags of chips for us and should have gotten one — shareable — two servings! I recommend the BBQ chips. Watch out for parking on Beverly Drive. Your best bet might be the parking garage. Friendly staff. Not many people there midday Sunday so there was absolutely no wait. Much better than Subway and I like that there are more veggies available than Jersey Mikes. They give them a run for their money for sure — I may even like Jimmy Johns better!!!

ok ok, being from the midwest, I am a bit biased; my sister bought me my first #2 in Urbana-Champagne when I was a sophomore in high school and it’s been a staple ever since. what I love about Jimmy Johns is its simplicity; fresh ingredients, super quick service, and the tongue-in-cheek décor all make for a great experience. but what makes Jimmy Johns stand out is the freshly baked french bread. perfect combo of firm enough to hold the sandwich together, yet soft on the inside. back home, they actually sell the day before’s bread for $ 1/loaf, but not too many people know about this amazing sandwich shop, so no dice yet, but I’m sure things will pick up soon. here’s a tip — do NOT go in expecting quizno’s, jersey mike’s or God forbid, subway. just take a deep breath and order something off the menu without modifying it 8 different ways, trust me — it’s delicious. here’s another tip, if you’re watching calories, get the«thinny chips», tastes EXACTLY the same. yeah, I didn’t believe it either til I did the side-by-side comparison with my sister.
