Jennifer is top notch. She really cares about what is going on with my hair. I have been going to her for 15 years and always left the salon with a beautiful head of hair. She is a great colorist and stylist. If you’re looking for the best, Jennifer is the one to go to.

The first time I saw Jennifer, my hair was brown and I wanted to go back to blonde instantly. I went to several people that told me it would be a process and it would take a few months to get it back to blonde. However, Jennifer was able to get my hair back to blonde in hours. After that, I was hooked. That was 8 years ago. I am still hooked! Jennifer’s cuts and colors are amazing. I recommend her 100%.

I have had the blessing of knowing Jennifer literally all my life, and the even greater pleasure of having her as my colorist. First meeting her at the Umberto’s hair salon on Canon, I started going to Jennifer as a little girl because she was the only person in the salon whose clients (men and women) walked away from her station looking absolutely flawless AND natural. 14 years later, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with the color of my hair as Jennifer is absolutely the best at what she does. No matter what stage of life I am in, she helps me seamlessly transform my look to be appropriate for my age. Still at 21 years old, I love the fact that I can sit in her chair, tell her briefly what I would like, and have her always go above and beyond to make me look fabulous. Truly, the art of hair is not over doing it. Jennifer NEVER over does anything, settling only for perfection. As a client, you look high and low for the stylists who take what you want for your hair paired with what they know to be good for your hair. Jennifer is the only person I’ve met who does this beautifully. No matter what I say I want, she smiles and says she understands and ends up doing exactly what I would have wanted had I been more knowledgeable on hair care and the art of highlighting. Only expertise can give you that kind of knowledge and professionalism. Finally, I go to Jennifer because as a mixed race person who gets keratin treatments and blows my hair out regularly, I can’t afford to have anyone styling my hair who is not meticulous when it comes to being gentle with fragile hair. Jennifer never pulls my hair and never over colors anything. She often makes recommendations regarding how to get the looks that I want while preserving the health of my hair. I can’t tell you how many stylists are NOT like that and that’s why unlike most stylists who constantly have a new wave of clients, Jennifer has new clients and clients like me who have been going to her for over a decade because we wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Jennifer is an absolute gem and I’m so thankful I can go to her!

I have had 4 other stylists since I moved to LA 10 years ago, and none of them came even close to making my hair look as good as it does now that Jennifer is doing it. My hair was dry, bleached out and thin, and then I started going to Jennifer on the advice of a friend. I thought my hair was looking unhealthy because of my age, but it took Jennifer about 6 months to completely turn my hair around and make it look healthy again with beautiful natural-​looking blonde highlights. In addition to being a fantastic stylist, she is very kind and funny, so it is always fun to go to her shop! She also gives solid and practical advice on what you can do at home to make your hair healthier (ie. products, brushes, styling tools) and it really does help! I am so thankful that my friend recommended Jennifer to me because I have my old hair back and more!!!

Jennifer has been doing my hair for over 10 years. She has seen me through color changes, straightening processes, and a frequent longing for bangs. She always keeps my hair looking gorgeous– often by talking me out of the bang idea. I get one process on my roots and then a toner, but the way she does it makes my hair shimmer as if it were highlighted. This saves me BIG BUCKS. Jennifer is AMAZING because she doesn’t compromise the integrity of my hair even when we make color changes. She has been doing my hair for 5 years now. My hair has always been easy to manage after her magic touch. I trust her completely and i recommend her to everyone, men and women.

I’ll be honest, Jennifer is my sister. She’s been doing my hair since I was 18, I’m now 43. i always get compliments on my color. (Which I’ve realized is a total science, mixing science with beauty is not an easy task.) Jennifer has mastered colored over her decades of experience. How do I know she’s the best? Well, when we get into arguments and I fire her or she fires me, I have to go elsewhere. I search out the best colorist in this vain and fashion forward city we live in. I’m always shocked, they suck! They just can’t get it right. So, I put my tail between my legs, eat my humble pie and go back to Jennifer… it doesn’t matter that she’s my sister, she knows her sh*t like no one else in this city.
She was a top stylist at Umberto’s for over 20’s years. Now she’s running her own little salon. Do yourself a favor, go see her for a cut, style, blow-​dry, whatever. I guarantee you’ll walk out feeling and looking sexy. And if you’re a man, you’ll walk out with your mojo!

I’ve been going to Jennifer for at least 10 years. Sometimes we make changes and sometimes I keep my style the same. Her suggestions always keep me fresh, youthful and stylish. When I leave her salon, I feel like I’ve had a makeover!
Jennifer is a specialist in color and gets my blonde just right. My highlights always look amazing. Her blow drys are fantastic too! I consider her super creative.
