This place is awful. The owner screamed at us when we left since we asked to use our Groupon and accused us of being cheap. Really awful management and ownership. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Wow, the portions are tiny and not very tasty… But since they are in Beverly Hills, they can charge disproportionately. Two little teaspoons with a bit of mango and a dollop of scallop for $ 8, you’d think it would be pretty damn good. Well, it wasn’t. Underwhelming at best. And it went pretty much the same for the rest of the meal.

Ingrid’s is great. The tapas are yummy and the service is so friendly. I love the salads. Small but adorable. :)

Went here tonight with my boyfriend. After reading reviews we were expecting it to be «pretty good»…but we would both say it was great. Our server, Tanya, was great. She helped us pick out some great eats and kept it fun, without being too involved in our meal. The atmosphere was quaint, it is definitely a very small space, but comfortable and intimate. We had a groupon — $ 20 for $ 40 — and that was more than plenty for us. We ordered: 3 tapas: — Hummus($ 6) — 9 out of 10 — realllly good! — Grape leaves($ 5) — 8 out of 10 — tzatziki sauce was amazing — Naan Caprese Pizza($ 8) — 7 out of 10 — pretty good, but a little weird Entrees: — Greek Salad($ 8) — 9 out of 10 — great dressing, good portion, lots of veggies and came with a warm stick of soft foccacia — Chicken Kebob($ 12) — 9 out of 10 — chicken was TODIEFOR. Ingrid(the owner) marinates it in a special«secret» marinade that makes it amazing. Every bite is full of flavor. And it comes with a mozzarella crêpe which is also great. No rice(which we loved). instead a great assortment of steamed vegetables. To top it off… they have happy hour pretty much every night with $ 3 for a very generous pour of wine and there are homemade desserts which look delicious. We aren’t dessert people, but we couldn’t leave without getting one. Overall the meal cost us $ 42 before tax and tip… and it was WAY too much food. Other reviewers have said portions were small, so we ordered a lot — turns out, portions are quite generous. In the future, we would probably just get the salad & kebob… maybe the hummus too because it was so delicious, but still too much food. Definitely worth trying! And we will definitely be back.

Came here valentine night to try this place. Nice presentation, small restaurant, but service was somewhat slow, but the overall food was good. The portion was right, and the temperature of the food was somewhat appropriate, but need more improvement. Recommended for intimiate dining.

Went here for the 1st time for lunch using our Groupon on a Sunday, not busy. Small but cute. Upstairs there are a few more tables. Outside seating for a nice day. We ordered: Mouhammara $ 8: a red pepper(not spicy) dip served on warm pita bread, fantastic flavors of herbs and spices.
Jack Daniel’s Pulled Beef $ 9: BBQ pulled beef with a side of fries was okay, nothing exceptional. Steamed Mussels with fresh warm bread stick $ 12: My favorite. The mussels were fresh, broth and cheese bread stick was nice and warm. Chicken Salad Wrap with mixed greens, cabbage salad, humus $ 8: Chicken and cabbage salad needed some seasoning or dressing because it was dry even with the humus. Hummus was just typical humus. Cappuccino was made perfectly. We were concerned at first of the small portions because of Tapas style but we were both satisfied and very full. I even saw Ingrid in the kitchen when I was going to the bathroom. Service was great, very attentive, great recommendations on the Mouhammara and steamed mussels.

ok I’ve been to a fair share of kebab/middle eastern places and I would say this place is really cute and cozy. VERY small… it would be a cute date place. I ordered the lamb kebabs and it was average. I wasn’t completely satisfied though… wish they had more to give on their place… i feel like the rice and one grilled vegetable was a little lacking esp for the price… they do have happy hr specials which were a pretty good deal and not bad. i probably wouldn’t come here again just because there a lot of similar places that give more food and are just as if not more delicious esp on westwood blvd…

We saw this on Groupon so we decided to try it out. When we got there and sat down it took a moment to take order since it looked like only 2 people working on a Saturday night but when she got to us she apologized and she was very friendly. As a previous reviewer mentioned, they are going through a menu change so the ground beef and ground chicken kabobs are no longer available. We took the advice of many before us and went with an order of beef kabob and an order of chicken kabob along with a greek salad. The salad came out and I was delighted with the portion. Based on previous reviews regarding portion sizes in general I was a little concerned that it wouldn’t be large enough for 2 to share, but it was. The ingredients were indeed very fresh. Then our main meals came out. I agree with most that I would have preferred a little more, but at least the pieces were nice size. The meats were great — juicy and very tasty as others have said. It is a hair pricey for the portion perhaps, but then again this restaurant is in Beverly Hills so that should probably be expected. It was by no means outrageous. We didn’t get any appetizers, but judging by the portions we saw on other tables and the prices, those seemed to be a little more on the pricey side compared to portion. The service was friendly all the way throughout.

Took the folks here for lunch using my Groupon. Wasn’t sure if I could use it for lunch but it was no problem. It would be five stars if the portion wasn’t on the small side for the price. Normally, I wouldn’t order regular chicken kabob because it’s always dry but when I tried ordering their ground chicken and ground beef skewers, she told me they didn’t have that. Plus, they were in the process of changing their menu. So I did end up ordering the chicken kabob and an order of beef kabob. Also got their naan pizza special of tomato, basil, and mozzarella along with a lamb kabob wrap. The chicken was surprisingly tender and juicy, best chicken kabob I’ve had so far and I’ve tried lots of them before. The beef, I asked it to be cooked medium, was also juicy and tender, again, one of the best ones I’ve ever had. I was very impressed by the freshness of the meats, the juiciness, and the flavor. There were only four pieces of each meat although they were on the large side, with a small grilled tomato and a chunk of grilled onions, standard fare. The basmati/saffron rice was also pretty good except it was kind of a small portion too. I’m used to the rice being a huge portion. My lamb wrap was tasty also, with a side of salad. The lamb was chopped into small pieces and I chose white pita as the wrap. It had a nice vinagrette dressing in it although there wasn’t a lot of meat in there. Loved the cheese and tomato on the naan pizza except the naan bread was kind of soggy. I think they should retool this item on the menu. I think there was only one waitress serving the whole restaurant so I waited a bit for the bill, otherwise, she was very good. The restaurant’s kind of small but very cute. We liked the view from the second floor too. If they were closer to me, I’d go more often. Although the cost is a little more, the flavor and freshness of their food is worth it.

We just ate there with our Groupon and had a lovely time. Pros: The food was delicious. Flavors were lovely, light, and everything was fresh. Service was so friendly. Atmosphere nice. Cons: Portions for appetizers were very small(the quail appetizer was only about 1 oz of meat total, and it was $ 12, which I feel is too much for how little you get.) Service, although friendly, got some things wrong(I asked for extra veg instead of rice, and was told yes, but it was forgotten), I had to wait about an hour to get my Bellini because no one was there that could make it, apparently. Music was a bit loud for such a small place with no people in it(we were very early – it did get busier towards the end). And the worst thing for me – I asked for a drink menu, was told to just say what I wanted(maybe they didn’t have one??), and then I ordered 1 glass of champagne(while waiting for the Bellini) and 1 Bellini. The glass of champagne was $ 16.50!!! I didn’t ask for anything special, and my husband’s beer was only $ 5. That makes NO sense. Overall I would recommend this place, but the prices for the drinks left a very bad taste in my mouth, especially considering I only ordered the champagne because I was waiting so darned long for the Bellini. I feel that should’ve perhaps been comped or something, but even if not – sixteen bucks?!? For ONE glass? Oy!

The menu and pictures here show that chicken kebab comes with veggies, but I got only a tomato and half grilled onion. This dish is not flavorful at all. Even with the $ 5 strained yogurt that I bought. The yogurt comes with pita bread, which they were nice enough to grill but tasted like cardboard. I also got the enchanted scallops over linguini. For $ 24 I expect big fresh scallops. Instead, I get some breaded things that I cannot tell what is in them. I think bits of scallop mixed with baby shrimp or something like that. Ingrid sounded so sweet and eager to please over the phone, but the food is just not that good. I will try this place again and write an update if the experience is better.

WOW. Wow. wow. If Unilocal had six stars this place would get it. Holy moly!!! First off: the food. Ughhh omg… we had Greek salad, chicken kebab, and beef kebab. Followed up with a chocolate covered cannoli. The meat was so tender, juicy, well seasoned, and just effing delicious. Atmosphere is adorable. Very small little place, but it adds character and intimatecy. Our waitress, Ana, was the best! This is my new favorite spot :)

I got 2 groupons to this place, it was a great deal and it’s close by. I went the first time and we made a big order(much larger than the groupon) and I got beef kebob instead of chicken and I dislike chunks of beef, but the service and packaging was so good that I really wanted to like it. I tried the hummus and it was great. It is a nice quaint place I thought would be great to eat into, but I like takeout. I ordered again, this time taking more of an advantage of the deal and ordering closer to $ 40. I got what I ordered, this time I ordered Salmon being scared off the first time, and we got a pasta dish. The pasta dish wasn’t bad, just a bit overpriced. The salmon, as much as I’d want to say I like it, I thought was horribly overcooked. The hummus could not save the day as the pita was medoicre and this time they gave us one pita($ 6 hummus and 1 pita??). I like this location, I like their setup, but they have to do something about what is important, the food. I admit they have done a great job of advertising, but this place is almost the poster-child for too much advertising and crappy food.

I can’t agree more that Ingrid’s is truly a little Gem. Its a cute little restaurant…(quick tip: there is seating upstairs). AMAZINGFOOD… I mean the kind of food that makes your mouth water and engages your senses. My boyfriend and I cam here for dinner and had the Ingrid’s special crepes(great if you like horseradish… definitely has a kick!) followed with the ground beef kebabs and the chicken kebabs… both were superb! We brought in our own bottle of Merlot… the corkage fee is only $ 2! Of course I always save room for dessert and I am so happy I did! There are so many delectable treats but we opted for the Tiramisu, The apple tart and the lavender ice cream… everything was so delicious! I will definitely be back we had a great evening… Ingrid’s does not disappoint!

Went here with my friend for dinner on my birthday. The place was exactly what I hoped it would be! Super sweet, small, charming, and we had a great waitress, I think her name was Ana. We ordered the Mixed Berries and Brie Salad, Lobster Ravioli, and Lamb Kebabs. Everything was delicious, fresh, and cooked perfectly! If you’re the type that likes really fancy dishes with lots of sauces and tons of ingredients jammed into one plate, this may not be the place for you. If you’re looking for Cheesecake portions where you have leftovers for your next meal, this isn’t the place for you either. BUT, if you want to have a satisfying portion of quality food at a reasonable price, and experience a fantastic atmosphere and wonderful service, you need to come here. We also had the tiramisu for dessert. This isn’t something I normally order because many claim to have the best and more often than not, they fail to meet my expectations. This, however, was wonderfully light with a perfect amount of moistness! I also got a earl grey to accompany my dessert, which came in a pretty tea pot with matching cup and saucer.(I love tea sets!) I would come back here anytime for just a coffee and dessert break, dinner with friends, or a date. I don’t know what the largest group they can accommodate is, but I would love to have a dinner with 15 of my closest friends and take over the whole place. A must try!

This place is a gem, it’s charming and I felt like I was in a small french café. It’s tiny, intimate and cute. Came here for lunch and shared Ingrid’s platter with a bottle of wine. You can tell that everything is fresh and made to order. Ingrid did come out and let us know that one item was missing from the platter and asked what we would like it replaced with — we let her decide. The one issue I had here, and it was almost comical was that I felt as if the wait staff all called in sick and the bus boy was waiting on all the tables, I actually have to believe that to be the case or I’d have to remove a star. There is no way that this waiter is really a waiter, he barely spoke English, we had to ask Ingrid for our water and wine — when he did(and he only did it once) fill our wine glasses he filled them to the rim. Something was wrong and I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt because this place is so damn charming. I gave this place 4 stars because despite the inept service I will come back. I want to come back and try more of the menu — OH — almost forgot, they have a $ 2.00 corkage!
