Food is great but service is horrible for $$$$ place. I came here on a week day and it was a little busy. We didn’t have a reservation but they took us right away. I honestly loved the salad bar. I went for thirds of salad, smoked salmon, prosciutto, salami, and cheese. The cheese rolls they give you is also delicious and soft when it’s hot! One tip: say yes to everything they give you. I tried everything! The lamb chops with garlic were amazing, the ribeye was good, and few others. One downside is that I wish they had more rare options. Most of the meats were medium rare to well done and I love my steaks RARE. The service could use some major help. For one, the meats came around every 10 minutes. It was so slow!!! Our server was also on the assy side. We would ask him for something and wouldn’t reply and then we would ask again. He would then reply rudely with«I KNOW». We also asked for more lamb chops many times and it took forever to come out. Oh we asked for FRESHHOT cheese rolls and then give us rock cold ones. This place also doesn’t know how to clear out plates on the table. I went back for seconds at the salad bar and they did not take my plate for the longest time. I had to set my plate on another table. I know they were closing but I wasn’t finished eating? I was literally taking my last couple bites and they rushed me for my plate to take away. I’ll try another location but this one needs work.

Amazing Brazilian Churrascaria! At $ 61.95 for the dinner, it’s a bit steep but if it’s a once a year/special occasion, I would say it’s worth it the visit. The quality beats anything you can get at Samba or other chains. The Market Table is amazing, with salad, cheese, cured meats, soup, potatoes, and fruits. Just make sure you don’t full up too much before you sit down and get ready for the side dishes and the meats. The sides included are polenta, mashed potatoes, plantains, and cheese bread, and they even give you refills! I can’t remember the meats since they have the usual sirloin steak, bacon wrapped chicken, pork, etc. But what stood out to me most was the lamb! The lamb was the best part of this meal! So juicy and perfect in flavor. We enjoyed getting seconds and thirds of these! We visited on the last day of their Facebook promo for $ 25 off a dinner(maximum 2 allowed per table) So the service was hectic. It took 15 minutes to flag someone down to pay the bill and 30 minutes to get our credit card back. I hope they are more organized during other times of the year. Over all, I would come back but for is it would be a once a year type of place to visit.

My boyfriend and I just celebrated his birthday here, and we both loved it! The food is fantastic and the service is incredible! The atmosphere is a great mixture of friendly and formal. I would highly recommend this location of Fogo De Chao. I’ve been to the Vegas location and the Beverly Hills location tops it. If you can, be sure to see Moises Da Silva, he made the already perfect service better! Thank you again for the lovely dinner.

I went to Fogo on Thursday night and I had the most amazing time. I was greeted by the manager, Victor who was so nice and charming and fit right into the ambiance of the restaurant because of his Brazilian outfit and accent! He explained the whole process of how Fogo works and what types of meat/chicken we can expect for the evening. Victor made sure we were taken care of and that the whole experience of Fogo was going smoothly for us. After dinner as well, Victor the manager checked on our table and thanked us for coming. We talked about Brazil and how we wanted to visit and he gave us some tips on where we should visit and what we should expect. Fogo has the best service, the best food, and the best customer service. Will definitely go back again!

This place is delicious! We came for the first time for Father’s Day and there is not regrets. Lots of diferents meats to try, the service is great, everybody is really nice. The salad bar is absolutely yummy! Olives, palmettos, cheese, prosciutto, beans, fresh mozzarella and a lot more… The desserts are also a must try, personally I loved the caramelized pineapple with vanilla ice cream. The only thing a would say be prepare for the check, delicious food but very pricey… well at the end it was worth it :) For 4 adults $ 495.00 bill hahahaha

Must come early in the evening to beat the dinner rush, come hungry and ready to taste many differs types of Brazilian foods. The Bacon warped chicken is probably the best meat that you’ll have here was very tender and was cooked perfectly.

Here for a buddy’s 60th birthday party. Lots of meats to choose from. Salads as well as fruits were eye appealing and tasted fresh. Eat here if you crave lots of meat and have a big appetite. The service is fast and friendly. Bathroom is well stocked and clean.

My best friend and I dine here at least once a month. Usually our schedule permits us to only come during lunch, but this weekend we were both free to dine for dinner. As usual, the experience was amazing. We had a 6pm reservation and the resturant was pretty busy due to the events going on locally. The manager Heather(who was awesome!) noticed the meat selection was not getting around to us and personally made sure that the servers made their way over to us. Geo(who is equally amazing) was our server. He was quick and quite friendly! He seemed to be very knowledgeable about the different types a s cuts of meat. After dinner, Heather the manager checked back in with us and thanked us for our service. We chatted about the different desserts and she gave us her business card for when we decided to dine here again in the future. This place has the best customer service hands down, not to mention the tastiest food and we’ll seasoned meats a carnivore could ask for!

My dining experience was great! Although we showed up 30 min early to our reservation time, they immediately sat us down at around 5:00pm. At each table there are things that look like coasters and you flip it to the green side if you want more cuts of steak; flip it to the red side if you’re good for the time being. Every piece of steak I had was amazing, especially the garlic steak, their special for the night, and the filet mignon. Our goal was to sample every steak but eventually we became too full. When we asked our waiter how many different steaks they had he answered«50 but sometimes more.» They also have a great«salad» bar, which isn’t really a salad bar at all. Sure there are ingredients to create a refreshing salad, however, there is also rice, potatoes, cheese(fresh parmesan wheel), salami, pickled garlic, and so much more it’s ridiculous. There is a valet on the side of the building just for Fogo de Chao and you should definitely take advantage of that!

Came in for Sunday brunch because we knew we’d eat so much that we needed time for our bodies to digest all the meat. I loved, loved the Filet Mignon, Beef Ancho, pork sausages and OMG the cheese balls! Eat the cheese balls when they are fresh because they’re just so warm and gooey and ahhhhhh… you’ll definitely regret it if you don’t eat them when they are warm. Other honorary mentions includes the market table’s smoked salmon, veggies, and the soup! While some of the meats are amazing, but some of them, like the Chicken with Bacon was a little too salty.

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse is the best steakhouse in LA hands down! I been going here for over 6 years, and every time I go there they hold up their standards. Service amazing, food the finest, and soothing ambience. From the moment you get there and give your car to the valet to when you pay for your check, everything is just perfect. Never had problem at Fogo, and that’s why I’m loving this place. Keep up the good work!

This location us still only 3 stars. Still on the saltier side than some other locations. I give the vegas and boston location 4 stars! Their service is way better and they are not as salty. Been to vegas location about 3 times and boston twice. I’m addicted to the cheese bread and their lamb chops! Ribeye us great too! But hard to track down. As a asian person, it’s hard to eat alot of meat without some fermented or vinegared side dishes. The best thing you have here is the jalapenos at the salad bar. But it works. One very annoying thing is that they don’t serve fountain sodas. They only have those small glass bottles and it’s like $ 4 a pop. So you spend $ 8-$ 12 easy just on sodas pp. Iced teas are refillable but it’s not the best choice while having so much meat. They really need to get fountain refillable sodas.

Happy Mother’s Day to me!!! Thank you to my wonderful family for joining me at this very fun, special occasion restaurant to celebrate. The meat here is incredible, particularly the filet mignon and the linguica. All of the meat is great, though and you can request a menu of the meat and your server will bring you whatever you want. As much as you want. And as often as you want. YUM. Speaking of service, it was crowded today! And the server of the day had to be Mario, who we were so fortunate to sit in the section of. He was hustling big time, but never missed a beat. He was so gracious, professional and attentive — he almost read our minds before we ever asked for anything! He really made the visit go from 5* to 10*. We will definitely be back to Fogo de Chao. There is nothing else like the elevated experience they make it.

MEATHEAVEN!!! Seriously, i was starting to have meat sweats! Most of the meats are really good and tender. The picanha is my ultimate favorite. The cheese balls are amazing!!! The place is pretty pricey but you get your moneys worth on the quality of meats they give you. I would always go at lunch time, theres a big difference in price vs dinner and theres not much difference in meats served.

There’s no better business than the one that listens to a customer’s needs. Fogo de Chao is this place. First off make sure you make a reservation, they sometimes take walk ins but it won’t happen on a weekend. The food is amazing. You can read all the reviews below me that will confirm it. This isn’t only a meat eater’s heaven their salad bar is also an option. You can have the salad bar section only and pay for that– helpful when you have a large party that includes vegetarians. Don’t bring your vegan friends, they won’t like it. As always try the house specialty, the waiters will let you know when it comes. Other than that enjoy the experience and be ready to indulge in Charrasqueria.

I came here for a Sunday brunch birthday. The décor and style is lovely. You walk in through huge wooden doors with a glass cutout in the shape of Brazil. We were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff. They all have such cohesive teamwork and you constantly have their attention. The food was excellent. There is a salad bar where you get up and serve yourself various salads, fruit, rice, beans and dressings. Then there’s the servers who come around with skewers and boards of meat. The selections of salads and complimenting side dishes to all the meats were great. You’re basically there to eat all the meat you can though– and you can go all out. My favorites were the beef ribs, lamb cutlets, and skirt steak. I would definitely come back here.

My experience here was fantastic when compared with similar Brazilian BBQ restaurants The quality of the food and the service we received were outstanding. At most churrasqueria I don’t eat anything except picanha. At fogo de chao all the cuts of meat are not just edible, they’re delicious. If you’re in the mood for a celebration of being a carnivore or a festival of gluttony, I highly suggest this spot. Worth the price, especially in this area.

I am a big Brazilian BBQ fan, so I was extremely excited about this Unilocal Elite Event, my first ever. It was nice to meet so many Unilocalers. Located in West LA, in the middle of some great restaurants. I valet parked and arrived just as we were being escorted from the bar to our private room. This style of cooking started over open fires, with the meat impaled by a sword and stuck into the ground angles over the fire… Cut a few slices off and re-season and return to fire. It is all you can eat here, but it’s about quality and taking your taste buds on an adventure. Your first test is the Market Bar… A salad bar on steroids. Can you refrain from trying everything??? A great selection of salads, soups, cheese, meats and veggies. I loved that they had a giant wheel of parmesan cheese, with shavings in the middle. If you have a vegan dinner, they can do the Market Bar only for a reduced price. The real star here is the protiens, and there is a lot of them. You have a round card, green on one side, red on the other. If server sees green he stops and tells you what he has to offer. You assist with a pair of tongs to grab the meat as he cuts it. The meat comes on a giant skewer and he carves it off unless it comes precut. We had about 12 choices, and they just keep coming. I’d recommend trying a little of everything and then settle in on your favorites. The Picanha is a staple and one of the best you will try. But tonight, for me, the Lamb Chops were out of this world. With the selection of beef, pork, chicken, lamb and sausage… All carnivores will leave happy. Sides vary, I tried the mash, fried polenta and plaintains… All were excellent. We finished off the night(the lucky ones who hung out) with 3 desserts to share. A tres leches cake(excellent), a chocolate mouse cake with ice cream(loved it) and a strawberry cheesecake(classic). As with the protiens, something for every one. They also served a white and red wine as well as their signature drink — the Caipirinha, which was like a Brazilian mojito… I just had to have two. This is a classy, high end restaurant. Enjoyable as a couple or a group, which I think it excels at. It was a great Unilocal event, the organizers did an awesome job, restaurant staff was spot on, and the Unilocal Coffee Mug is my morning mug now! p. s. the Valet staff was great, when leaving, the a President of the Phillipeans arrived blocking the exit with the police escort. The staff directed me out a secret exit and it was smooth sailing home!

Ahh Fogo, my beloved Fogo. I’ve been here quite a few times and never really thought about writing a review because everyone already knows what Fogo de Chao is… a delicious ayce Brazilian steakhouse. But what motivated me to write a review this time is the exceptional service we received the last time we dined here. We came for the DineLA dinner special($ 50) and it was fantastic. Since it’s DineLA, they don’t open up the full menu to you, which means you can’t get filet mignon, and ribeye(to name a few). In any case, you still get to devour the picanha and top & bottom sirloins which are my personal favorites. The meats are super tender and flavorful. Ahhhhhhh. You are also granted access to the salad/hot bar which isn’t that spectacular to me. You aren’t coming here for the salad anyway… Also, you are given some side dishes to accompany all of the meat you’re eating. They give you fried bananas, mashed potatoes, and polenta. In my opinion, the fried bananas are a little too soggy for my liking. The cheese balls are AMAZING. Be careful not to fill up on them. You can snack on them for days. For the DineLA promotion, you’re given dessert as well. Since there were 4 of us, we got to sample all of them(Tres Leches, Cheesecake and chocolate mousse). The tres leches one was on point! The service is phenomenal. Gio, our server, was outstanding. Anytime we wanted a particular meat, he would go out of his way to call it over and it would be at our table within minutes. Also, a special mention to the manager, Heather. She frequented our table numerous times to make sure our dining experience was exceptional. As far as parking goes, I would try and avoid the stupid $ 6.50 valet charge and park on the streets. Watch out for street signs though as some of the streets are permit only parking. A little walking never hurts after stuffing yourself with delicious meats.

I LOVE this place. From the cheesy bread they serve you in the beginning, to the salad bar, to the endless amount of delicious meat they bring right to your tablet on a constant basis. They give you a card to turn to green when you want more meat, or turn to red when you need a break. Great idea because there is so much meat available that you definitely need a break just to digest before you can think about having anymore. You have to try at least a little bit of everything, but for me the best was the sirloin. Delicious! I felt that even the drinks were better than other places.

What an amazing opportunity to experience Fogo De Chao for the first time with my fellow Elite Unilocalers! Warning: This place isn’t for the non-carnivorous people out there! The night started off with a brief welcome and introduction to the Brazilian-style of feasting! Shortly after, all the wonderful servers crowded our tables with delicious mojitos, red wine and the famous bread(which was one of THE most delicious breads I’ve had). The bread was soft and had the perfect flavor! I know it’s not the main meal but DON’T pass on it! It’s definitely a must try and once you start you can NOT stop or you’ll find it’s extremely hard to! Ambiance: I loved the way the place was set up and the lighting was perfect. It wasn’t too dark where I couldn’t the rest of my party’s faces and it wasn’t so bright that I would be self conscious about my partner seeing the blemish on my forehead! They did a great job of creating an atmosphere that was perfect for this style of feasting from the colors, the music, the staff and the way the restaurant was set up. Service: amazing service and the men serving the meats were constantly circling around so your plate was always full of the finest meats. They were prompt to respond and always served enthusiastically. They were fantastic and were also good looking! Food: I’ve tried another Brazilian Steakhouse called Espetus Churrascaria but I personally think Fogo’s food was better and the overall package was superior. My favorite meat was the filet mignon and bacon wrapped chicken! The bread was amazing! remember not to skip on it! I know the mentality is not to fill up on the non meat items but don’t skimp on this! :) I would definitely be back when I’m feeling extra carnivorous but for now because of the mass amount of meat I had — i’ve reached my meat craving for the month– I’m going on a vegetarian diet ;)

I’m not sure if this is a seasonal item but TRYTHE Brazilian Quentão Wine drink! It is so delicious. Its a warm wine with cinnamon and other spices with fruit. I love Fogo de Chao much more than M-grill just because they have a more enriched salad bar and more tender better quality meat. The ambiance is more fancy than M-grill as well. As you sit down, they come and set down traditional side dishes. Cheese balls, Caramelized Bananas, and Polenta. Salad bar: How can you not fall in love with the flavorful imported cheese?! It is my favorite station at the salad bar. I love all the meat here. None of them are too tough. All of them are flavorful and tender. True Brazilian meat is supposed to be a tiny bit on the salty side(they aren’t supposed to use any crazy sauces or marinades but inseatd just the simple salts for seasoning) But salt on meat is supposed to bring out the flavor much better so just make sure you have items from the salad bar to cleanse your palate once in a while. OH~! They don’t have chimichurri sauce at the salad bar BUT you have to ask your server to bring it for you.(You can’t have Brazilian bbq with out chimichurri!)

Yes, Woohoo! It is as good as it gets! Why is this restaurant so amazing? The food quality and selection PLUS extremely attentive servers and hosts. When I was the first to arrive for a Unilocal Elite party, the hostess offered to get me a glass of water without my even asking. She then offered a seat in their posh bar. The food: The salad bar, which is really so much more, is a bar of plenty with the usual salad offerings plus smoked salmon, prosciutto, black bean and sausage soup, numerous gourmet cheeses, a yummy Brazilian tuna salad, sauteed mushrooms, and on and on. The meat: It’s all about the meat! The waiters not only serve you a particular meat; they also cook it so when they ask you how you want your meat done, the server knows exactly how to slice off the huge skewer. My favorite was the bacon wrapped filet mignon. Also delicious were: The PIcanha, or prime part of the sirloin, flavored with either garlic or sea salt. The filet mignon without the bacon. The top sirloin. The bottom sirloin. The rib eye. The leg of lamb The lamb chops which were out of this world; I ate too many to tell you as it was pure gluttony. The pork loin. The pork ribs. The chicken legs cooked to perfection, not dried out like at most restaurants. The linguica sausages which to moi were just ordinary. All the meats came straight out of the kitchen so be careful as they are super hot! 4 different dipping sauces are on every table. To be truthful, the meat was so tasty that I really did not require any dipping sauces, though I tried a couple. I passed on the A1… LOL We were served cheesecake, a tres leches cake, a truly decadent chocolate cake, and another dessert that escaped me. All truly delicious. I cannot remember the last time I had such attentive service from waiters! Prices: only $ 15 or $ 16 for their salad bar, which they call their market table @ lunch, probably the biggest culinary bargain in all of Los Angeles. The complete meat extravaganza with the market table is only $ 36 or $ 38 for lunch; dinner is about $ 65. All plus tax and tip. Speaking of tips, you will most decidedly want to valet your car as street parking is ridiculously tight. How great is this place? Truth be told, this is now my go to restaurant for birthdays, hands down! You will see me with a myriad of check-ins, mostly at lunch, as I am kinda thrifty. I blame that on my New England roots. Yeah, I am from Boston and love the Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots, and let’s not forget the real Bruins, the Beantown hockey team.

My first time here! We came for a Unilocal event expecting greatness and we were not disappointed. Fast service and delicious food — my favorites were the«house special» and the filet – but there were so many meat choices that were all mouth-wateringly delicious it was hard to keep track of everything we tried . All you can eat –so come hungry! If you have a vegetarian in your party, they can opt for the salad bar only menu– and it’s options are quite extensive! Long story short-no one could leave hungry or dissatisfied from this establishment, I can’t believe I haven’t been here before now, will most definitely return!

Why come to a restaurant to just sit and not eat? For a restaurant that’s located in Beverly Hills, the customer service is ghastly disappointing and unbearable. The hostess told us to wait 20 minutes even though we had a reservation. The food was okay– the only thing really worth eating was the lamb. But how can you even try any of the meat if you’re never served it, even after having the paper tab on green the entire night and calling out to the servers multiple times only to be ignored? The servers always made a beeline for one or two specific table and wouldn’t even bother stopping at the other tables. In the 30 minutes we sat there, only ONE person came and offered us meat. Our waiter was basically nonexistent so I had to resort to asking one of the men who was cleaning up the tables if he could have the meat servers sent our way. Luckily, he was kind enough to do so and after waiting another 15 minutes of having empty plates, the meat finally started coming to our table. This place gets mixed reviews, so hopefully you’re lucky enough to get better service.

This is truly sad. Fogo was my favorite restaurant, but this last time I was incredibly let down. I went on 02÷13÷16 and since I expected it to be busy, I set a reservation. Upon arriving, my date and I were packed into the waiting area for almost an hour after we checked in(on time) for our reservation. I was willing to put this aside and was optimistic that I would still enjoy my evening given the food and quality of service. Although I was very wrong. My date and I were lead to a make-shift table crammed in the corner of the room. I have been to the restaurant before and never have I seen a table(half of the size of the other tables for two) that close to the corner wall. I asked if they had any other tables and the host gave me a face and said I could wait another 20 to 30 minutes to have another table. So we stayed. I was raving to my date about the customer service, but tonight our waitress only checked on us three times throughout the night. To introduce herself, bring us drinks, and one refill. She didn’t even bring us the check. Someone else did. Then the food, which I prayed could save the night failed miserably. Where usually there is a nice smokiness, tonight tasted burnt. My date who loves churrascarias could not eat most of the cuts. We drove all the way from Orange County, spent over $ 200 on the night and in all honesty could have had the smaller restaurants by our house. Now even though I was completely let down, I will give Fogo another chance and update my review after we go again in a couple months because I really used to love this place.

Been here quite a few times, but haven’t reviewed as everybody and their mother has already commented on how awesome this place is. It’s true the meat quality, meat selection, cheesey bread, curated meats, sides, and dessert are awesome but what separates Fogo for me is the restaurant staff. The dude from the Fogo advertising video in the Photos section, is literally working at this Fogo and demonstrating various aspects of the Brazilian Steakhouse tradition. All the staff are super nice when serving you gratuitous portions of meat and indulging your every query and request. All the staff won’t hesitate to get you the meat or item you want and I just really like the atmosphere there in terms of the staff attitudes. Shout out to Heather the manager and Gio the server, who deserves a raise. Park on the streets to avoid their $ 6.50 valet lmao.

Like other reviewers have said, I was underwhelmed by the experience. Although the food was good and the atmosphere was clean and lively, I left feeling confused as to why I paid $ 150+ for that meal, and not necessarily excited to come back anytime soon. My boyfriend and I made a reservation for Saturday, Feb 13th at 7:30 pm, and understandably it was INCREDIBLY busy and we ended up getting seated at 8:15 pm. The place is exotic, and the dining experience was different from any other than I had been to before. In the middle of the floor is the salad/pasta bar where you can get your veggies and carbs, and it is well-maintained and not too busy at one given time. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable, although it took a couple of times to get a refill on water, but I attribute that to how exceptionally busy they were that night due to Valentine’s Day Weekend. The variety and amount of meat available filled us both up very quickly, and we were able to try lamb, beef, chicken, and bacon-wrapped Filet Mignon. The Passionate Caipirinha and Fogo Premium Caipirinha paired very well with all the food and was DELICIOUS. Fogo de Chao gave us a solid dining experience for our Valentine’s celebration, but the price did not make sense. I would consider coming here for drinks sometime in the future, but I’m not sure if Fogo will become one of my go-to’s for a dinner date, unless the price goes down or DineLA comes around.

I came here for my first time tonight. Hands down, the best customer service paired with such great food which deserves a 5 star right there. The staff was very welcoming(including valet) and very quick and friendly. The signature Picanha was definitely one of my favorites along with Costela, the beef ribs. However, you honestly can’t go wrong here when ordering meat. All of the meat is perfectly seasoned and I didn’t use the sauces however, they’re there if you prefer them. I tried them on the side and they were all really good. There’s a great variety of choices from really spicy to not spicy at all. The dessert was also soo delicious. The Molton was very good if you’re a chocolate fan and surprisingly I also liked the cheesecake and I’m not too much of a cheesecake fan. All around, a great place to dine at and I walked away with a very happy belly. I’ll definitely recommend this place and will be coming back again.

Wow, this place is extremely, extremely unorganized! The lobby is packed with people waiting for their table and everyone looks unhappy, the one hostess is SHOUTING out names… There has to be a better system. This is ridiculous. It’s 6:30pm and they are still working through the 5:30pm reservations. Seems like they are way overbooked. Such a TERRIBLE experience, especially given the prices and expectation that this is a nice place. Never coming back again.

I’ve been to their locations elsewhere, and decided to come to their Beverly Hills location the other night. Parking was no hassle thanks to valet parking. Since it was dinner for two, there was no wait in getting a table. Drinking was not happening that evening, so we ordered sparkling water. We got out items from the salad bar, and flipped the chips to green once back at the table. The meat options started rolling in. My favorite was the chicken with parmesan cheese. The rare sirloin was second best. I rounded out all that meat with fruit from the salad bar. They also brought side dishes, of which the plantains were my favorite. The staff was super attentive, and the experience was great overall. I will return in the near future.

I have been waiting years to come here and I was sad to say I was let down. We went for the Dine LA menu, but upon sitting down was told that the Dine LA menu didn’t come with at least 5 of the meat options. In fact, he started listing what wasn’t available before telling us what was. We upgraded to the full menu to enjoy all of the meats. The salad bar was great, but didn’t fully enjoy because of the promise of so many delicious meats. The meat came I. Waves, which was great… but everything seemed to be lacking in salt. The one thing that was fantastic was the lamb chop. DELICIOUS. When we were able to flag down our waiter we asked for sauces, which he said he would bring an «array» of. Another 15 minutes later we flagged our waiter down again and asked and his response was,“sorry. I haven’t made it to that side of the restaurant yet.“ Aside from our waiter, the rest of the staff was really nice. The gentleman offering us drinks and extra sides was fantastic. But it was too little too late. Our waiter(I think his name was Nico), pretty much ruined our experience.

First of all I came her for dine L A. Your would think that they would have their choice meats on the menu for a part of Dine L A. At least give a few dollars off if you want the better cuts such as a Filet. They figure that they will just show up and find out for themselves. OK you tricked all 8 of us! We paid the extra so we could have the good stuff. In addition even if you go with the better steaks they are still not going to throw in a dessert. The bottom line is they want to nickel and dime you where they can. My opinion is don’t put in on a Dine L A favorite list since the best your getting is Sirloin with garlic if you do Dine L A. I may be back but I am not running here soon. Penny wise and dollar foolish corporate BS!

My second visit to Fogo was for their DineLA in January, $ 49 for AYCE for 8 types of meat, unlimited access to their salad bar, crispy polenta, mash potatoes, caramelized bananas and the only winner of the night, pao de queijo. I really enjoyed my first visit so when I came by this time around, was expecting the same level of satisfaction. I was pretty disappointed though; not only was their meat selection minimized, but I felt like I was suffocating at the table. The meat servers barely had any space to move around, waiters were constantly dodging each other, I was pretty scared that something would topple over at some point. The salad bar didn’t have much to offer, I barely picked up anything the first time and I didn’t bother going back for a second time. Meat was very inconsistently cooked, there were times we had to switch back and forth between medium rare and medium, for the same kinds of meat. Service wasn’t really there either, we even had to ask a few times to get our linen napkins. Once again, the only plus was the cheese bread and I was glad that they were refilling this without us having to ask. Dessert was decent, I got the tres leches cake, but by that point, I was pretty full from all the mediocre meat I had. Worst part of the experience came at the very end when we walked out to get the car from valet. From the time that we handed them the ticket to the time we got in the car and left, took about 40 mins or so. They have a pretty poor valet system since you can’t tell what cars are getting picked up or dropped off. Luckily I was watching every car coming in because instead of bringing the car to the front for us, they went ahead and parked the car again. Who knows how much longer I would have waited if I just stood where I was. Hard to imagine all this happening especially with restaurants like Lawry’s, Stinking Rose, Bazaar nearby. I expected them to be better prepared for this influx of traffic but guess they weren’t.

I came here because I’ve heard wonderful things about this place. It’s an all-you-can-eat establishment, so make sure to come hungry. It is pretty pricy though, at almost $ 60/person. DineLA is cheaper, so I recommend coming then. I believe it’s $ 50/person. I was surprised at the lack of variety of meats they offer. Their salad bar was unimpressive as well. All their meats were way too salty. I didn’t have the appetite to eat even one plate, let alone enough to compensate for the $ 60. It was really disappointing. There’s Agora Churrascaria in Irvine, that’s much better. It’s $ 40/person, less salty, and has a wider variety of meat. They also have a larger salad bar. I wouldn’t come back here, but at least I gave it a try.

Death by meat? Yup. If you haven’t been to a churrascaria, Fogo de Chao is amongst the best. Over the last 10 years, they managed to stay pretty consistent and are able to deliver a very high quality meal. Though it has less diversity than the Fogo de Chao in Brazil, it is still a great place to dine on amazing food. If you are a vegetarian or on a meat diet, they do offer a salad bar only option, but that really isn’t that much fun. When I usually go, my favorite cuts are typically the picanha(traditional brazzilian rump steak), bottom sirloin, rib eye, and the rack of lamb. Their cheese bread(pao de queijo), is amazing. Recently, they added a seabass option to the menu which is also quite good, but I still prefer to stick to the meat. For dessert, always go with the papaya cream. It is a blend of papaya and vanilla ice cream with a dash of cassis.(science note: papaya’s contain papayase which digest specific proteins so it actually helps meat digestion). Always a great choice, especially during dineLA time.

Most disappointing experience ever. I’ve been wanting to go to Fogo forever and came since it was Dine LA this week. For $ 50 you get the appetizer buffet, three types of sirloin, some chicken and pork options, and dessert. All of the meats were very heavily salted. My boyfriend asked to get the inside cuts of meat since we noticed they kept cutting us the salty outside pieces and they did their best to accomodate it, but they didn’t really understand what we meant so we just ended up eating salty cuts. Was a little surprised at how they only offered 3 types of beef(which were similar because they were all sirloin cuts). Dessert was not good. My boyfriend got food poisoning afterwards. Overall just not worth the money for what you get. Also felt like we were treated differently because we were doing the Dine LA deal. And valet is pricey at $ 6.50. Won’t be coming back here.

Ok so your probably going to say, she had a bad experience or the food must have been bad? Well neither… so how did we land at 3 stars. Need I say, the STEAKS are high when you go to a Beverly Hills all you can eat steak house.(Sorry couldn’t help myself with that last one.) The Valet Situation: One of the valet guys was yelling at a woman driving the wrong way. Not being able to hold his temper he proceeded to yell at her with no regards to onlooking viewers. Yes, she clearly was not the brightest crayon in the box to realize the guy remming her a new one as she continued to drive in the wrong direction. The cars blocking her exit may have been the give away. I honestly didn’t know if I should feel bad or laugh – mixed emotions on that one. Table: We were sat in the maze of tables. The service was decent – the guy explained how process worked, however I don’t think he was our waiter. We had multiple non-meat servers come to the table, we didn’t know who we were tipping. I literally didn’t eat all day in anticipation of this dinner. We started with salad and then we turned the pod to green – the food marathon started. Lets be real people this is a glorified steak buffet place. There is so much meat going around after the second or third round you don’t even feel right. Prices: You’ll pay around $ 200 for 2 people to eat like animals. The quality of food is good and the service is decent but you don’t know who’s to flag down to ask for things. Its nice… I guess, all you can eat meat – not my style. #harshtruth #3stars

I always forget and eat more than I should. See you again soon love the huge front door! Never go without taking picture here near the front door

Fogo is, hands down, THE gold standard for Brazilian steak. I’ve been to several imitations and nothing compares to the experience and quality. Bring your best designer stretchy pants for the best AYCE dining experience in Beverly Hills. I recommend coming for lunch rather than dinner. The menu is essentially the same, but you’ll save $ 20+ a head($ 40 as opposed to 60+ for dinner). Though most people caution against venturing to the salad bar, lest you fill up on things other than meat, I think it’s worth a trip at least for the smoked salmon and prosciutto. As soon as you sit down and flip your service card over to green, be prepared for a bombardment of MEAT. They really keep it coming nonstop, and they are not shy or skimpy with the good stuff. My favorites are the rib eye, bacon wrapped filet, and parmesean crusted pork tenderloin. I also enjoy the rack of lamb and bacon wrapped chicken. All red meats are cooked to a perfect medium rare. For those who like their meats well done, this is not the place for you. The sides are also amazing. I have an unhealthy obsession with their cheesy bread puffs, though the polenta, garlic mashed potatoes and plantains are tasty as well. While the meat comes out abundantly and enthusiastically, the service in other areas can be painfully slow. My last visit to Fogo in particular, was excruciating. Our waters were not refilled regularly and at one point I was so parched I had to drink someone else’s water. It was difficult to flag down a waiter for refills and to exchange plates. It took us ten minutes to flag down our waiter to get our check, and another twenty minutes to get the actual check. If I wasn’t crazy about the food, I would probably never return. But alas, I am a meat and cheesy bread addict, so I will probably be back sooner rather than later, especially with DineLA coming up. Tip: Valet parking for $ 5.50.

Yeah, it’s the best Brazilian BBQ in LA. You pay for quality though! O Fogo ainda e o melhor churrasco aqui. E um pouco caro, mas nao comemos aqui tantas vezes por ano. De vez em quando, precisamos comer bife feito certo, nao e? You can try others, but they don’t measure up. Salad bar is great as always and this place actually offers good variety of food I would eat in Brasil. Always eat lots of picanha + ask for the beef ribs & alcatra(skirt steak). Valet only is a pain, but it’s about the same everywhere else on La Cienega.

This is literally the worst Fogo de Chao I have ever been to. I have been to 4 total different Fogos and at the other three, I have had very good experiences. My boyfriend and I made reservations for 9pm. We arrived a few minutes before 9 and the hostess told us they are clearing a table and would seat us shortly. The hostess sat tables that came in after us before us. FORTY minutes later, we were seated. When it was our turn, she didn’t even apologize for the wait and quickly walked us to a table, set the menus down, and left without saying anything. Very Rude. There was a ridiculous number of people there. The line for the salad bar wrapped around 1.5 times. My boyfriend didn’t even want to bother with the salad bar. As for the meat, quality was good, but the frequency of the men serving the meats coming by was very spotty. There would be times where we’d get like 3 cuts of meat all at once and then we’d have 10 – 15 minutes of nothing. That changed after we talked to our waiter and we were able to get meat more regularly. Our waiter was very friendly. +1 star for him. We got the check and this Fogo is more expensive than other areas(San Jose, CA, Washington, DC, and Baltimore, MD). It also took our check over 15 minutes to be taken care of. I will definitely go to Fogo de Chao again, but not this location.
