Dustin definitely transformed me into a whole new person! I walked in with looong hair, going all the way to my lower back and I asked to cut my hair to above the shoulder. He cut it with great detail so it has great dimension and not just a boring ol’ bob. He also gave me blonde highlights, toning it from the top of my roots and letting it shine more through the bottom. I am in love with my hair. Thank you so much!

Dustin is amazing! I had my hair cut by him a few years ago and then cheated and some friends cut it and it never looked as good as when Dustin cut it. I went back today because I wanted a great cut and for my hair to look pretty. It looks so nice! He cut a good 6 – 8 inches (I have very long hair) and it’s gorgeous, healthy, shiny and everything I was looking for.
Leticia is a gem, as well.

Went here with a Groupon for full highlights and a haircut. I have medium brown hair and wanted to be blonde without dying my entire head and damaging my hair, but also didn’t want streaky highlights. I was anxious but ended up being extremely impressed with the results. I’ve gone to several places and finally have found a place that knows what they’re doing!!! Highly recommend.

DAVID is incredible — I love my hair, highlights + cut but I was kind of shocked when at the VERY END of my (4 hour) appt Dustin told me there was a $ 45 «long hair» fee — I used a groupon and this was not mentioned anywhere nor are prices listed in the studio. It felt made up on the spot and since the services were complete and I was happy with David, I paid it, albeit feeling awkward and like I didn’t have much choice. I know some salons do charge a fee, but at 50% of the Groupon price the entire service didn’t feel like a good deal. I tipped based off groupon’s «original price» number but think that at the very least feel additional fees and prices should be mentioned PRIOR to services.
Four stars because I really do like my cut + hair, David was fun and did a great job. Despite the shock of the fee I really did like Dustin, too, he was personable and very nice. Studio is beautiful.

Dustin is wonderful and relatively inexpensive! I moved here from the South after going to one hairstylist for nearly a decade. I hunted online for a reputable hairstylist to get my roots done. I procrastinated for so long that my roots were about four inches long! It was bad. I finally decided to try out Dustin. I am so glad I did. I didn’t have to explain too much to him about what I wanted. He made me feel comfortable immediately, by sitting down with me to chat about my hair and what I wanted before we began. Dustin went above and beyond to customize my hair, suggesting a few things for my face shape and hair length. He was also super fun to talk to. He is drama free and focuses on YOU and your hair. All he cares about is that you are happy with your hair. I left feeling so happy about my hair and I will definitely be returning to Dustin!
PS. CALL him **before** purchasing the Groupon or whatever!

I went to Dustin yesterday for the first time yesterday and he did and amazing job. I got highlights and cut/​blowdry. He was meticulous, took his time and it shows in my new hair
I have found my new salon home!

Best hair hands down. Amazing amazing amazing. I called inquiring about a groupon. Dustin himself answered the phone and was so sweet and shockingly was able to fit me in the next day (today). I got a full head of high lights, a cut and shampoo with deep I conditioning treatment!
First of all I am still on the hunt for my go-​to stylist. I finally have found him! Blondes are tough and his Texas roots know what a true blonde desires. Seriously this guy knows what he’s talking about. He is so funny charming and personable the hours flew by. He is very educated on how much your hair can handle and after being blonde for over 15 years of processing he got me blonder than I have been before and with a hair cut I somehow look like my hair is longer.
It is in the salon republic which is my favorite bc you have a personalized experience with the stylist and don’t feel like one of a million.
Sick of getting treated like you have to be a millionaire to get good salon service in LA? Without paying 400 $ for color ALONE?!

I found this place through groupon and decided to go ahead and get a haircut and balayage because of how affordable it was. Ultimately I was very disappointed with the experience because it was extremely painful and my hair came out looking like I stepped out of the 90’s. When teasing my hair for balayage, it felt like he was tearing my hair out and the washing period took forever to get the knots he had teased in to come out… So awful. For all that pain and seeing that my hair looked fried and yellow in contrast to my black hair, cheap and dated, I was not happy… Maybe they just do a better job with blondes but I cannot recommend this place.

Dustin is amazing! He did color correction and balayage on me and my hair went from horrendously brassy to natural looking blonde. Such a sweetie and a good listener, honors what you want! Only good things to say.
