Van Nuys, CA
Has its own parking which is good. Its not really worth the drive unless you trust the person whose driving because drive is curvey! Not a great place for kids more like a couples spot but you can’t go after dark because they lock it up and you can’t see anything. If you really want a nice view keep driving down past the light nice city over look. Friday nights is like photography nights on nice days.

Five stars for the couple who lobbied for more scenic overlooks along Mulholland Drive. Lotte Melhorn also encouraged people to slow down, and not use Mulholland for a racetrack.
I couldn’t agree more.
If I had… say…a Ferrari, I might be tempted to do the turns at 60, but for now I like to enjoy the Mulholland experience at a much slower pace, to take in the views on both sides.
There’s not a lot of room to park at this overlook, but I got lucky yesterday and had it all to myself.
