Castec Window Shading

Love my window treatments ! The quality and workmanship is first class, product was delivered within my installation deadline and they look absolutely beautiful. Sample books were current with the latest trends and styles. There is no reason to seek out any other company for your window coverings, Castec has it all.

Having bought different Castec Products repeatedly I can only think of one company for window treatments (Castec of course). I love the quality, their leadtimes and their customer service. They specialize in hard to do stuff that no other company will make, like oversized shades and motorization. their ability to customize their products is awesome. Now they are also capable to advise how to intergrate your shades so they can be operated via iphone, ipad, or Andorid device. Castec is the «To Go» company for window shades.

I have been working with Castec for many years, through good and bad and they have always delivered excellent customer service and superb workmanship. The greatest part of working with them is that they are always steps ahead in technology and design. This is something very much needed in this changing industry.

This company is the best. They offer high quality custom shades ordered to specification. All questions answered in a timely manner either through phone or email and when calling in you always get a pleasant voice on the other end.

I used to order window shades from this company and they always did a great job. Then one day I placed and order, paid in full for the labor, paid for and sent them the fabric for the shades, and they stopped returning phone calls. Apparently they were in grave financial difficulty. It happens, it happened to many businesses in 2008 – 9. A phone call of explanation would have been great, but communication stopped, and I had to re-​buy the fabric, and hire (and pay) a new workroom to make the shades for my client.
Now Castec has resumed «business as usual»…but they refuse to respond to my requests to refund my money. I’ve offered to take time payments for the $ 900 they owe me… no reply. The last time I got an actual person to speak with me they offered to give me a 10% discount on every NEW order I placed with them. Really? I should trust them now to do work for me?
They must have money now as they are putting ads in interior design publications and doing mass mailings to the interior designers (like me) who supported their business in the past. This takes nerve.
