Dr. Gorman is amazing! She’s very attentive and actually cares about her patients. I’ve been dealing with acne for over 10 years and was willing to do almost anything to get rid of it. I just completed my 10 session 2 weeks ago and can say that it really worked for me. My skin has cleared up and I haven’t gotten a blemish in weeks. I would highly recommend Dr Gorman if you are dealing with acne!

Dr. Gorman has been absolutely amazing! She is so personable and heart warming. I have had acne on and off my entire life. After getting it under control for a couple years it came back. I looked into natural ways of healing my acne and came across Dr. Gorman. So far my skin has become healthier than it’s ever been. My acne now clears up much faster and leaves no visible signs that it existed in the first place. I haven’t finished my journey just yet but I can’t wait to see the final results!

So excited to have found Dr. Gorman. Had never even heard of using acupuncture to to treat acne until I came across her! I have only had 2 sessions and can already see results! Excited to see the results after 10 sessions :) Such a sweet woman too, love coming here!

Acupuncture working wonders for recovery after knee surgery!!!
I never tried acupuncture before but I had a complex tear in my medial meniscus which resulted in arthroscopic surgery. Western physical therapy is working but the results were seemingly slower than I expected.
I did some research online and found the lovely Dr. Gorman. Our first meeting was very comfortable and she has a great attitude about life and healing (she’s very pleasant to be around) you’ll see. :)
She really listened to what my expectations were regarding my recovery and she’s doing a stellar job of helping me achieve them.
I especially liked the fact that she is trained in orthopedic and internal medicine since my partial meniscectomy was an orthopedic procedure. I’ve had 4 treatments in the last month with her and I’ve experienced marked improvement in the reduction of pain, swelling, stiffness and fluid in the knee as well as an increased range of motion.
Although many insurance companies do cover acupuncture, mine does not. Check to see if yours does. I figured I’d pay for one session and see how it went. I noticed such an improvement in the days after my therapy with Dr. Gorman that I decided to continue treatment out of my own pocket. It has been worth EVERY penny and I’m soooooo glad I found her.
I will say that usually when I leave her office I don’t necessarily notice the improvement that day. It usually takes about two or three days after the appointment that I really start to see things improving. Sort of like when I go to the gym, I’m not sore right after training, but I feel it in the next two days following my workout. I’m sure everyone heals and responds differently, but that has been my experience.
Dr. Gorman is a consummate professional and a wonderful person. You are in good hands with her!

This is my first time writing a review on Unilocal.I’m usually too lazy to write reviews. but THIS PLACE IS A GEM. I was suffering from hormonal cystic acne on my face. I tried everything but Accutane and was on the verge of giving up until I found this place. First of all; I love the holistic approach of listening to your body and curing things within. I signed up for the 6 session acne acupuncture package for $ 720.00; So far I’ve done 3 sessions and it’s been doing wonders for me! (Mind you, for the first two sessions my skin went through a mild purging stage from detoxifying) Not only is my acne almost ALL gone but the rest of my skin is glowing, brighter and my pores are minimized. To be fair, I was drinking lots of water + taking supplements + eating very healthy. I was also taking Estroblock which is a DIM supplement which helps with hormonal imbalance. But when I started combining all these together with acupuncture did I really see the difference. I no longer have bumpy skin! I also feel better, sleep better and have been more energetic since I started my sessions. Dr. Gorman is truly caring and she is very patient. I could go on and on about this place.

I had acne since I was 16 years old (I am 28) and in couple years my jaw line looked really not good. It’s been 4^th acupuncture session. I feel great, I sleep very well, have more balanced life, my back acne fixed and my face looks better.

Dr. Gorman has been treating me since September 2013 and I have been coming consistently since meeting her. My acne has cleared up and I rarely have any breakouts. My pores are disappearing and my skin tone is almost even. The scars, including chicken pox scars I’ve had since I was 5 are fading. I have also had some of the facelift procedures as a preventative measure and it’s incredible how Dr. Gorman and acupuncture treatments have affected my life. I am very pleased with the healing that has taken place.
As I said before, in a previous post, you are never going to see Dr. Gorman for just your acne. She is such a loving soul, and she is there to help you. Not only has my skin improved, but also my spirit. I have gained strength and been grounded in many ways. I’m more clear, physically and spiritually since working with Dr. Gorman. I highly suggest this treatment and I’m so thankful that I found this place. I hope that people who are struggling with acne give acupuncture a try. The results are startling. I’ve tried everything, except Accutane. I was on antibiotics, getting chemical peels on a regular basis, but nothing was curing the acne. Acupuncture does that. It cures it! Twisted my ankle a couple of weeks ago and it’s still been bothering me ever since. A friend of mine told me I should try Acupuncture on my ankle and foot. It was the best thing I could have done. It feels alot better now.
The service was great and quick. This place smells delicious, like you can eat the air. A very relaxing setting and nice staff. The acupuncturist was kind and knowledgeable. She could answer every question I had.

Recently heard about this place place from my dermatologist who recommended a round of acupuncture before accutane. Awesome to have a derm mention an alternative treatment too since i believe they make money by prescribing accutane!
I came in and they were running a special for the facial acne treatments, sweet!
They did mention that it would not be a quick fix, yet a slow progression from major breakouts to finally just a rare, minor pimple or blemish here or there. Fine. Lets’ give it a whirl.
So I went thru my first treatment, and to be completely honest, it did not feel like much was happening. I have heard that some will feel very relaxed, while others energized. I, however, did not feel either sort.
The next day I felt nauseous and was ecxessively excessive sweating. I called the clinic and they said it was part of a «Purging» of sorts. A release of toxins from my body. They were right, since the very next day I felt great!
I have had 5 treatments in the past week, an accelerated amount due to the scheduling limits they have. So far my skin has improved dramatically. My acne is still here, but its less inflammed, less red, lesser and seems to be healing faster.
For those wondering whether to try this method of acne treatment: from what i learned, its an alternative that has no negative side effects, meaning, that nothing bad can happen, but can the desire outcome happen? The acupuncturists seems extremely confident, and they even reassured me to try it and if it did not work I could get my money back (although just a pro-​rated amount, but still, I do like money back guarantees!) So, in total, yes, I would recommend this place.
