I have been going to Bo Balsim since the late 90’s! I go every eight weeks for her one of a kind conditioning treatment that has kept my hair in great condition over the years! Since she opened her own salon, I have had the very experienced and talented Natalia doing my hair for the conditioning treatment and color. I love her! She is excellent and very sweet

I love this place! It has a very professional environment and everyone is so nice. My hair and nails have never looked better.

I am a very satisfied customer! I like the salon: very modern, great design. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, super accommodating. I saw a lot of services done, and everybody was happy! I got a hair color and cut done by Kasey. She a great job, explained a lot about hair care, was very gentle to my hair with highlights not to damage my hair. I loved the result, the materials used were good quality/​brands. Overall, great experience, highly recommend.

Recieved one of the best hair cuts and on the first visit no consultation. Was referred by a friend that has been a long time client. Not only was the the cut technically perfect for my hair type, but special attention was paid to my hair with a scalp treatment and extra detox/​conditioning. The environment was relaxing without the hype of many Salons in the same area code. Highly recommend Bo!

I am very impressed. Everything about this salon exceeded my expectations. Bo and her team made me comfortable the entire time. The salon was super busy but everyone got attention. The staff was pleasant, considerate and friendly.
I have a very long and fine hair and I am very picky. For more than 5 years I have been doing my hair at the pretentious salon in Beverly Hills. However, despite the high price they constantly burnt my scalp, prices kept rising, no one ever complimented my hair and I had to do touch ups every month, which is very challenging with my job schedule.
I am so glad I came to Bo, she is fantastic! She was super nice and attentive to my requests. Bo explained what he is going to do. She did an AMAZING job on the color! I couldn’t be happier! I did my hair on March 21^st and I still get compliments on cut and color. You can’t see roots, it looks great, blended and natural. I absolutely love it. She saved me not only money but time as well. Most important the first time in 5 years, it didn’t hurt at all! Bo is a professional who truly cares about you and let you know it. I am very happy about the cut, it holds as my hair grows out. 3 months later my hair looks absolutely perfect. I left the salon feeling like a million bucks.

Waxing wise– I only trust my eyebrows here! She is an artist. Great for long hair, although don’t come in a hurry, they take their time, but it is worth it in the end :)

I absolutely loved this place. I stopped here after seeing a sign on their window saying they do Brazilian Blowout treatments. I’ve been going to the same hair salon in Newport Beach for at least 18 years (since I was 5… smile)! So, trusting a new person to just touch my hair is beyond comprehension for me. But, I needed to find a person in the BH area. So, I took a deep breath and asked a lot of questions, then set up an appointment. I was completely comfortable with Nicole. She was so sweet. This was my first real Brazilian Blowout, I’ve always just had the express treatment. Boy, was I in for a treat. For the first time, I had completely maintenance free hair. I could just wash and blow dry my hair in 5 — 10 minutes. For women who have curly hair that will frizz because you breath, you’ll get this! It usually takes my Newport Stylist an hour to blow dry my hair. So, this was the first time I ever had maintenance free hair. The only thing that I should have done differently was use a lighter color on my hair. The color touch up felt much darker than what my normal colorist does. But, I think that was just because we haven’t work together before. Honestly, Nicole was awesome! The owner cut my hair, and I never let anyone cut my hair… LoL! I know I must have looked panicked. But, she calmed me down by saying «we specialize in long hair». I knew I was in good hands at that point. If your hair is long and you want to keep it that way… This is your place!!!

Bo and Natalia are perfectionist! I completely trust my hair in their caring hands, they always know just what I need and take their time to get it just right. Been going to Bo and her team for over 13 years and have tried different saloons in BH to mix it up, but I always come back! The staff is very attentive and will even run out to make sure my meter is covered! This is THE place for long hair girls! You will not be disappointed!

To say that I write reviews often is an understatement. In fact, I never write reviews on Unilocal.But my first and most recent experience at Bo’s salon deserved a wonderful review. I came into Bo’s salon with hair that was totally botched. I went to a different unnamed salon requesting a subtle ombré using my dirty blonde base color. Instead, I got a disaster. My hair was colored deep red with orange highlights (pictures to be posted). I could not look at myself in the mirror. The result was atrocious! I knew this disaster had to get taken care of and taken care of fast! Bo’s salon was highly recommended to me by a friend. As soon as I came into the salon, I was greeted with warm and open arms, with the promise the that I will be fixed. Bo’s amazing colorist, Edita, took her time, explained everything, and made me feel so comfortable, allowing me to trust her (since my last experience at the unnamed salon wasn’t so pleasant). Edita was incredible! Her knowledge of color and color repair is unmistakable. The result was nothing short of amazing! I was shocked that Edita could turn my previous disaster into something worth showing off! I was soooooooo happy! Bo was wonderful, constantly checking up on me and the progress of my color correction! Bo even corrected my botched haircut! Overall, I am so pleased and will definitely be back! Thank you Bo, Edita, and your entire staff for making me feel like myself again!!!

Anna is the best for eye brows skin care I go to her for oxygen facial. Every month she is the best in Beverly Hills worth the money

AnnA is wonderful with eyebrows, Natalia is so committed to doing a perfect job, Alla is the cleanest manicurist I have seen. Bo will make your hair like silk as long as you listen and follow her instructions. Love this place. Have sent any friends here.

I started going here a few months ago based on a recommendation and it’s close to my work. It’s one of the best salons (although tbh I only get haircuts never any color or whatever else people get lol). Bo is super experienced and always gets my hair right.

Worst mani pedi ever. Arrived 20min early, didnt get started until 10min late. Nails were unevenly filed and polished. The sides of my nails werent polished and some nails were given more coats than others. The polish chipped off most of my nails by the next day. AND my cuticles? Skin started peeling a day later. This horrible process took 2.5 hours!!! The staff were really nice, though. But with only one manicurist that can’t see, is a lose/​lose situation. No one wins. Im happy i used Groupon as opposed to paying full price.

I spent six years looking for the right place for my hair! No one could color it the way I wanted and I kept switching one salon after another because of this. My good friend referred me to Bo Balsim, and this turned out to be the best place!
Thanks to a wonderful professional hair stylist my hair got better and grew longer due to the right approach. I finally got it colored right and was advised on how to take care of it in time. Overall my experience with Bo Balsim was great and each time it’s a pleasure to come here. I am always offered coffee, war or tea, and the staff is amazing and fun! Definitely recommend this place to all! Ladies with long hair specially!

Have been seeing Bo for about 8 years and have always been satisfied with my hair. Such a warm and friendly environment to walk into and as a costumer, you truly feel taken care of. Plus, for single ladies Bo guarantees you will get a boyfriend after walking out a salon. If you bring him in, his first cut is discounted (please ask Bo for more details).

I had my hair cut by Bo, who made great conversation throughout and made me feel very welcome. Stepping into her salon was like an extension of my own family’s home, which I really appreciated.

My favorite salon in the heart of Beverly Hills! I can say that I have experienced majority of the lovely ladies at this salon and they are all so wonderful at what they do. Bo is an expert with hair. Anytime I come to get a blow dry or some type of treatment, I always leave with my hair feeling (and looking) better than every before. She’s one of the few people I trust to style my bangs as I am really picky with that! Natasha, the other main hairstylist is just as wonderful. She really listens to what you want and replicates it.
Anna’s facial skills are the best. Not only is the environment so relaxing, but my face always feels so clean and smooth afterwards. I feel like I don’t even need any make up to cover up for weeks after receiving a facial with her. She’s also one of the best for eyebrows! She gets it perfect every time.
Alla is my favorite manicurist. First of all, she uses only the best polishes like OPI, Essie, CND Shellac and Vinylux (for a week wear!). None of that cheap stuff that you find more and more often at other salons. I can always count on Alla to clean my cuticles, apply my polish, and have it last long! After all, you get what you pay for with European mani/​pedis. When I get gel done with her, it usually lasts me three weeks. With vinylux, I get an easy two weeks out of it. I also used to have a very sensitive and slightly puffy toe. After a few visits, she took care of it all. She might take a little longer than most manicurists, but if I get longer wear out of it, it doesn’t sound like a problem to me!
Above being so skilled at what all these ladies do, the salon is very clean and friendly. I’ve been a valued customer for over 5 years, and I am not going anywhere! It’s just an added bonus that they offer you delicious coffee to enjoy your pampering time :)
