I just called the SAKS BRIDAL SALON and had the following exchange:
me: «If my budget is in the $ 3000 range do I have options?»
Salesperson: «NO…» while laughing under her breath continues to say that they start at $ 4500 and laughs again.
Such sales skills! might she have considered that it would be possible to upsell me if I liked something? Did she not hear me say «range»?
I also work in luxury but I certainly don’t laugh at people who ‘seem’ like they don’t have money.
Unbelievably rude.

I shopped for my wedding dress for months and was losing hope with each store I went to… until my fiancé’s mom told me about Sak’s Bridal Salon. It’s located in the Men’s store of Saks Fifth Ave. on the 4th floor.
When the elevator doors opened, my mom and I both gasped. The layout is stunning, the music delightful, the dresses are high end and gorgeous and the selection is HUGE! The entire 4th floor is devoted to their bridal salon. A lot of the dresses are on manikins and/​or nicely spaced out, so there’s no need to try and separate overly stuffed racks. I HIGHLY recommend coming here. I worked with Hermine and Carla every time and they were nicest bridal consultants I’d ever met and made the experience so fun. My dress arrived 1 month early and alterations were done so well! They have a small selection of veils, but that’s the only negative thing I can think of. Definitely go! Valet Park and they will validate it for free.
