I visited Dr. Silani for a routine eye check and to get an updated contact prescription. I’ve been to many optometrists over the years and have always found them to be good and friendly. However, Kambiz truly took customer service, courtesy, and knowledge to another level. From the moment we started my eye exam I felt very comfortable and he took the time to walk me through all of the testing procedures. Throughout the rest of the appointment, Dr. Kambiz was very patient and wonderful at answering all of my questions. I left the office very impressed and excited that I had finally found an optometrist to return to for the foreseeable future.
Overall, Beverly Hills Optometry offers great service and great attitude. I will definitely continue recommending this office to my friends and family.

Dr. Silani’s staff and equipment are so user-​friendly, you may forget the puff of air! What an extensive selection of glasses and eye products. I left with a box of effective artificial tears and a great option for cold compresses for my sore eyes. I had lenses implanted in my eyes to correct severe near-​sightedness less than a week ago. Dr. Silani has excellent bedside manners and you feel more like you are visiting a family member than seeing a doctor. He’s informative, thorough, and caring.

I’m myself an ophthalmologist (eye doctor and surgeon) who has gone off to do other things. When I needed to get a new eyeglass prescription and eye examination, I naturally looked to Unilocal and was directed to Dr. Silani and his perfect reviews. He was able to give me a same-​day evening appointment, so I went to see him. My experience with Dr. Silani was nothing short of fantastic. He’s extremely friendly, knowledgeable and THOROUGH. He performed every aspect of the eye exam that MD ophthalmologists don’t even perform, let alone optometrists who are focused on quickly getting a prescription and selling you glasses. He took the time to explain everything he found, and magically has been the ONLY optometrist in my life to get my prescription PERFECT. He figured out that other eye doctors had been giving me too much power in my lenses, leading to headaches and difficulty reading. I would go to Dr. Silani in a heartbeat for my future optometric eye care. You will never meet anyone more personable, dedicated, and professional. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience at Beverly Hills Optometry from the moment I walked in to the end of my eye exam! The staff is very attentive, welcoming and knowledgable. Dr. Silani is a wonderful doctor and I could immediately tell that he is very passionate about providing his patients with the best care possible. I truly had an incredible experience with Dr Silani yesterday. My previous appointments at other ophthalmic practices were terrifying; I had very bad experiences with the doctors and assistants making me very uncomfortable receiving eye care as I had a phobia.
It was a very pleasurable experience with Dr Silani. He is truly an amazing human being and Doctor. I felt so comfortable with him and his assistant, it was a great experience. He is very good at what he does and does it with passion. I now look forward to future appointments.

I wish I could give more stars! I came to see Dr. Silani after going to a different eye doctor who dismissed my symptoms and had me in and out of her office in under 15 minutes. My iphone shattered and I felt a speck of the shattered glass fly into my eye. I tried to wash it out with water and thought I got it out but realized after a few days it was still in there. I went to a female optometrist first and after being passed around by multiple assistants, the doctor came to glance at my eyes at the very end of the appointment. She said she didn’t see anything and that it was in my head. I was so upset and mortified — knowing that I had a piece of glass in my eye and being told there’s nothing wrong.
After researching another eye doctor I came across Dr. Silani’s page, and I’m very happy I did. When I got to my appointment, he greeted me and conducted the entire appointment from start to finish giving a very thorough exam, and most importantly he wasn’t dismissive of me when I said I could feel something like the other doctor was. He took the extra time to take a deeper look into my eye, and sure enough he said he saw something in there. He put a saturated substance in my eye which immediately brought the speck of glass to the surface and he was able to flush it out. I was so relieved and grateful for his patience and care and taking the extra steps (and time) to get the glass out of my eye. He then explained that I would most likely still feel irritation for a few days in my eye where the glass had been and gave me some über lubricating drops to help heal it quick. In a world where so many doctors try to get as many people in and out as fast as possible so they can bill more hours, it is incredibly rare to find someone like Dr. Silani who doesn’t rush you, is truly personal, comforting, and then takes the time when the appointment ends to let you know how your eye might feel for the next few days so you don’t worry. I will definitely be seeing Dr. Silani for all of my eye needs moving forward, and I will recommend him to all of my friends!

Dr Silani is a super compassionate doctor. He is very personable and attentive. I’ve always had ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision, but went to see Dr Silani for routine eye exam. I was blown away by all his advanced equipment. I never felt overwhelmed by all the technology because he kept me relaxed and cracked up jokes. He recommended some reading glasses, so I went next door and was again blown away by all the selections. Overall, had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Dr Silani.

Dr. Silani is the best optometrist.
I have a unique computer eye strain problem and have been to many optometrists in the past that were unable to diagnose and treat the problem — Dr. Silani took considerable time to investigate the root cause using state of the art technology, and provided a solution. He also introduced me to new brand of contact lenses that are much more comfortable.
I really like that I can schedule appointments and order contact lenses directly from his website, without having to call the office.
His office is located in Beverly Hills with free parking behind the building.

The doctor is good, and knowledgable with state of the art devices that realistically at the end of the day still give you the same results that optometrists have been giving for the past 50 years. so honestly it’s not worth the extra money, and the Beverly Hills price boost. They have a system set up where the doctor is not «connected» with the store next door that sells the glasses so he doesn’t look like the bad guy when they charge you ridiculous prices for lens that you can get for cheaper anywhere else. Most optometrists order from the same Manufacturing company so the quality is still the same anywhere you go. Don’t believe the hype.
And if you think your insurance will save you, they still find a way to play with the prices so you still pay them out of pocket close to $ 300 for a pair of $ 100 glasses.
The owner or manager of the glass store (not the doctor) is also very unhelpful and was too lazy to even bother fitting my glasses when I got them and they fit uncomfortable and keep slipping.
Once you pay them they stop caring. Before paying them they kiss your ass. Make sure you get everything you can from them before paying them because all they care about is money.
Not surprising given their demographics.

Dr. Silani and Ashley are both so awesome!!! I’ve had to go in several times now — for a regular check up, to getting my contact prescription altered (I switched from hard to soft lenses), and most recent for a pink eye scare.
With something so imperative as eyesight, I am very happy that Dr. Silani is so patient with me and ensures that I get the absolute correct prescription. I really appreciate the attention to detail. I also know that Dr. Silani is always continuing his education and passion for helping others, and that is important to me.
