The Owl Cove

This was my first time at The Owl Cove. I went here looking for a balayage/​color melt process. Boy, did this place NOT disappoint!
Stopped in one day and had an appointment at the end of the week. I was quoted a solid price that didn’t change at the time of service.
Diane took wonderful care of my hair and styled with loose curls that did not frizz the next day after brushing. And the shampoo… It was so relaxing and soothing, I dozed off for a few minutes! My hair has never felt this soft and smooth after any color process.
I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been going to Diana for a while now, and I could not be any happier. After almost four years, I have yet to get a haircut I haven’t been 100% satisfied with. She is one of the only few people I trust with my hair, and I always look forward to my appointment because of how nice, funny, patient, and understanding she is. The salon itself has a great vibe (you feel right at home here), is always clean, has reasonable prices, is in a good location, and everyone there is warm and welcoming. I recommend the Owl Cove to everyone I know in the Lehigh Valley.

The Owl Cove is a perfect mix of a lovely old building and a modern salon. The stylists are skilled in everything from classic to creative and are always growing their knowledge base. Their products are innovative and high quality. Everyone is welcoming and friendly as well! Diana has been doing my hair for over 10 years, from short to long and back again she always knocks it out of the park. Let the owl cove work their magic on you!!!

Once you find a hairdresser you click with, you’ll follow them wherever they go. Fortunately, I got to follow Diana to The Owl Cove. Not only did I get a great cut at a reasonable price, but I was treated to a beautiful facility. The space is open and airy with interesting items all around. And the bathroom is a lot of fun. I highly recommend The Owl Cove.

I have been going to the same stylist for 15 years and have been dying to get out of my rut and try something new. Through many recommendations, I opted to go to Diana at the Owl Cove. She did an amazing job! I told her to do whatever she thought would look best and ended up with a short, awesome cut (at least 6″ chopped)! I truly love it and look forward to seeing Diana again soon!

I recently went to get an up-​do for a performance I had that evening. The first thing I immediately fell in love with was the warmth that surrounds you when you first walk in. It is so beautiful and relaxing! I was promptly greeted and offered coffee and tea :) Everyone that saw me was super friendly and said hello. My appointment started EXACTLY on time (which I value highly). My stylists name is Claire and I asked her for input about what would be a good style; not only did she have amazing ideas but current pictures so I could envision what it would look like on me. I enjoyed the entire appointment chatting with people around me and just having a really happy time. The end product was even more beautiful than the picture! I honestly could not be happier with the entire experience or the end result. I have definitely found a stylist and salon for life!

Wow awesome experience… from the time I walked through the front door until I checked out very professional with a focus on the customers experience. Gwen listens, makes great recommendations and consistently exceeds expectations. If you are looking for a great cut this place rocks!

HORRIBLE experience with DIANA! Went in for a routine color and walked out with orange hair. What’s even worse is Diana said well it happens sometimes it will grow out and charged me $ 245 as I stood there crying. The entire time I was there they talked trash about the previous client. Very unprofessional.

Thank you for reaching out Diana and Owl cove team. I wrote this review bc I truly had a bad experience. I completely understand everyone has a off day and mistakes happen and had you just said «hey I’m sorry that’s not the color we were going for let’s fix it» there would have been no problem instead my feelings were disregarded. Since I wrote this review I have received several nasty and hateful messages stating they were friends with you Diana one which was calling me loser and calling me ugly. I did not know that name calling and being mean girls were the vision of this new salon. I wish you all the luck and success in your career and this new business venture and I hope you and your friends can find some peace in your lives and let go of the negativity.

I’ve been a client of Diana’s for six years and I’ve never seen her happier than I did today at her new salon, The Owl Cove! The quality of the organic products is exceptional. The artistry of my cut is first class. I feel as though the atmosphere of genuine happiness and good vibes at The Owl Cove is a place to nurture inner beauty that shines!

The owl cove is a special place. The salon is spacious, light, and relaxing — it feels tranquil and comfortable — but it is the people that work at the salon that make it the best spot in town. Gwen has been cutting my hair for 3 years and she always takes me from a 4 to a 10. And we have fun while she does it — easy and fun. And funny. I always leave there feeling better then when I arrived. I sometimes also get my eyebrows maintained with Alyssa, as I did this week. Alyssa is does magic with wax that smells so good I want to eat it. With Gwen and Alyssa, I know im going to be taken care of — my style crew. And the rest of the staff is just as cool. The whole experience is so happy and relaxing that I’ve started to get my haircut more frequently. haha! I look forward to going every time. Check this place out!

What an awesome space for a salon! The atmosphere is great, really bright and inviting! Diana has been my stylist for close to 5 years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else! She has a great eye and can visualize how a color or style will look and executes brilliantly! The products are also awesome! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I’ve had my hair done by Sara for years at her previous location and always loved it. She always hooks me up with awesome fashion colors and a little trim. Yesterday was my first time seeing her at the Owl Cove and I’ll never go elsewhere again! The décor is beautiful and there is free parking in the rear, a rarity in downtown Bethlehem. I also had Alyssa wax my eyebrows, which terrifies me, as I hadn’t had them waxed for literally twelve years. I trust no one. She did an amazing job. They’re not too thin, plus the wax smells like mint chocolate! Win win. I’ll be back soon!

Such a beautiful, modern, friendly, inviting salon! Has a great atmosphere but most importantly great staff that does amazing work! My hair color is always on point! Love them! They also use some really wonderful products.

The Owl Cove is a beautiful salon! It’s a gorgeous, welcoming space, and the talented staff is hand-​picked by the owners who are each excellent stylists in their own right. I go to Diana, one of the owners, and I always leave happy. I have a lot of thick, long, curly hair which can be difficult to handle. However, Diana always listens to my ideas and discusses all my options with me. I never worry about getting the haircut I want! On-​street and off-​street parking are a bonus and make each trip even easier. Great place, great stylists, great experience all around!

Got a tapered gentleman’s cut and I’m feeling great! Diana has been my choice and go-​to hair person for over two years and I’ve never not been impressed with her eye for detail. The Owl Cove is a cozy and friendly location. The seating area feels akin to a relaxed coffee shop, with an amazing hearth and fantastic lighting. Close attention was taken when choosing décor, even the restrooms feel inviting and warm. Plenty of parking, and the neighborhood is welcoming and friendly. Over the years Diana has fostered an intimate knowledge of the Lehigh Valley and maintains close friendships with her clientele. If you are new to the area, I’d make sure to stop in. You’re guaranteed to meet some great new friends.
