Interesting place, usually pretty quiet but right on Main street with great people-watching tables out front. BYOB or have their sangria or wine/beer. The sangria was great and much cheaper and larger than Tapas. Appetizers were great too. I had caprese salad that was wonderful. Will definitely return for dinner.

Sad to say we are revamping our review. We used to LOVE Molto Pozzo but have had our last 3 visits turn out not so good! They used to have the best calamari, the passed 3 times it’s been chewy and taste very fishy… The chicken parm was still good. We ordered a thin crust pizza today, yuck gag, gross… It was 2 flour tortillas with a boat load of cheese and blobs of sauce. I never thought I’d say the words«too much cheese» but indeed it was way too much. My daughter originally ordered the pizza and schwicked me into trading meals with her. I had the Shrimp Scampi. Even the Shrimp Scampi was boring and not much flavor. When the waitress asked if she could wrap up the pizza to go I said«no it was really gross”(secretly hoping she’d take it off the bill) all she responded was«yea and it does not reheat well either». I almost died when the bill came and it was $ 78 for 4 of us to eat. With too we ended up over $ 90 for ONE meal that sucked. Sadly we will not be returning… Bethlehem is chock full of Italian resturants, they better amp up their game or they will be out of business soon …

The Italian steamed clams are absolutely mouthwatering. It’s cool to dip your bread in the remaining juices. Don’t be weird. So good! I’m not a big dessert guy, but the cannolis were incredible. The waitress talked me into taking home not one, but two. I had never had one before and now this is the only place I’ll ever get them again. Perfectly crispy on the outside, with a savory inner filling that isn’t too sweet, but just enough to end your meal with a huge smile. Add an espresso on the side? A match made in heaven. Staff is super friendly as well. Always a pleasure. I would highly recommend dining here, especially with warmer weather in our midst. It’s a worthy bookmark for a day on Main St.

This is such an underrated place. The menu is expansive and their specials are outstanding. The service is good and the chef is always up for making something off the menu if he has the ingredients. The Chicken Scarpariello is one of the most flavorful dishes I’ve ever had. BYOB and outdoor seating are both pluses. Please support them!

I had a really nice lunch here. The food was very testy. From the salad, warm bread, main course, and an excellent cheesecake. On my next visit to Bethlehem, I will make sure to visit again.

Stopped by on a hectic Sunday night during the busy Christmas Season. We have eaten here twice before although not in the last two years. It’s the best Italian Food on Main Street and is really very good but I can think of three Italian places that serve a better meal. All dishes come with soup or salad. The standard house salad looked great but was really ordinary. Average oil and average vinegar made for an averages salad. Bread was hot and fresh but also just ordinary. The crust was nice and crispy but the flavor was lacking. Entrees were good but not standouts. Shrimp and Veal Provençal needed salt and was swimming in an average brown sauce. Veal was fairly tender but a bit stringy. Veal Marsala was better, also swimming in sauce. Both dishes were served over linguini that could have spent 3 less minutes in hot water. Service was fantastic. Friendly and attentive staff made for a pleasant visit. Also, cannoli cake was delicious. We enjoyed it so much we’re going to order a whole cake next week. As for ambiance, if you are not at the tables close to the front, it’s a hectic experience. We were seated in the middle and my view was of dirty dishes, takeout boxes and people coming and going to the restroom. There is an unused pizza oven in the dining area as well as shelves full of glasses and plates that make an awful racket as the staff shuffles around. We’ll try again when it’s less hectic and maybe we can add a star or two.

I have to agree with some of the other reviewers — not sure why this place only has 3.5 stars. We were late for our reservation due to traffic(and a wrong turn) but we called and they had no problem holding our table on a busy Friday night. I got the Sangria and my date had the house red wine. We both agreed that the Sangria was definitely a better choice. The calamari(pazzo style) was great! I really enjoyed the added spice and it’s definitely not hot, just the right kick The meal portion are definitely huge. There was nothing about the salad, almost wish I didn’t eat it to save more room for my meal. Just meant more to take home. Meals were great, service was attentive and I would definitely visit again!

We dine in Bethlehem on a fairly regular basis, and love Molto Pazzo. It’s great, especially from April to October, when you can dine outside, people watch and sip your wine. We love the fact that it is BYOB, as we may bring our choice of wine to compliment our dinner. If you do not bring along your own, the restaurant will serve you complimentary wines. We have had a variety of their offerings, from fish, chicken, veal and just wonderful pasta dishes. We have never been disappointed with any of our selections. The service has always been great, even from our very first visit. Yes, we are«regulars» at Molto Pazzo, but have never had a problem with service, the wait staff and our lovely and attentive hostess. Always greeted warmly, and sincerely feel they are happy to see us, as with family. We are partial to fish, and I love the blackened haddock, and my wife loves almost any of their shrimp selections. But, everything we have had at Molto Pazzo, has been wonderful. We would highly recommend this restaurant for its fine selection of entrees, and great service and attention to taking care of all their customers. Will continue to visit Molto Pazzo.

Serendipity! My husband and I drove up to Bethlehem for a wedding. The night before, we «walked the streets» to find a good restaurant. And we did! The food was very good. I love a slightly sweet red sauce on my pasta, and their’s was as good as it gets. The portions were large and very affordable. If that wasn’t enough… the wait staff, for sure, deserves five stars. Oh ~ if you are a Ceaser Salad devotee, you are going to love their’s.

I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars only because the food was very good and Danielle our server was wonderful. The kitchen made numerous mistakes with both our entrees. Obviously they were understaffed for the amount of business they had tonight. Unfortunately the manager was a total waste and did not even come over to apologize for the kitchens mistakes. Our server did apologize and quickly corrected the problem. I have managed restaurants for most of my adult life and I can only tell you that a manager needs to own all mistakes and personally apologize to their guests. That’s your job! Thanks to Danielle our server for making us feel welcome and shame on the manager for avoiding us.

The owner Stacy is very rude. The food is nothing special and the service is sub par. Spend your money elsewhere. I am not one to write bad reviews but the overall experience was horrible. There are plenty of good restaurants in Bethlehem… don’t waste your time here.

Fabulous Italian restaurant. I don’t often give five star reviews but I found this to be a hidden gem in Allentown. Everything is home made. The red sauce is fabulous and my husband is Italian even he enjoyed it immensity. I would highly recommend the mussles. Biggest I’ve ever seen. The bread and oil is made with fresh herbs. Service is great also. I highly recommend.

We came here with my husband and 2 children after a disappointing/irritating reservation mix-up with the«other Italian place» across the street. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately at 6:00pm on a Saturday. My husband and I both had the Sangria and it was delicious. They don’t offer much in the way for children’s drinks as milk and juice were not options but rather sprite and lemonade. The bread offered at the table was ok and comes with a pesto(?) oil or you can pour olive oil into a appetizer dish and season with salt and pepper. We ordered the recommended Calamari appetizer and it did not disappoint. Very fresh and tasty. They have a children’s menu but you will have to ask for it. Note: the portions are HUGE. Full adult sized meal but with children’s prices. I had a shrimp and sausage pesto special with Linguini and it was very good. Again, I was not able to finish it as the portion was big. My husband had the Lasagna and enjoyed it. Service was VERY attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. As another reviewer noted, the music was a little strange for a dinner setting. Overall — Great meal at reasonable prices.

Was visiting Bethlehem for the Christmas village and decided to stop here for lunch. The blonde hostess greeted us but informed us we would have to be out in an hour as they were having a private party. We told them we could as long as we got our food quickly, we would be accommodating. The moment we sat down we felt rushed. Our server took our drink order and we told him we were ready to order but told us to wait as he got our drinks. Once our drinks were deliver he walked away. About 10 minutes later he can over to take our order. Ordered the pizza«thin crust» that was actually a tortilla. Didn’t get our food until the hour was up. As we were getting ready to leave we were told we had to leave along with the table next to us. Over all, terrible bland food, terrible service and would not recommend to anyone nor would I return!

I’m going to give it four because the food was pretty good and fair priced, and the woman who was our server was attentive and extremely friendly. The food was pretty good. We ordered a creamy chicken /shrimp entrée that was very good. Was a bit on at the mild side(almost too mild… but this is a matter for preference for everyone I guess). I would have loved a bit stronger flavor(not spicy, just even garlic or herby or something). Wife got a salad with steak on top of it that she raved about. She said the steak was cooked perfectly. All in all… very fairly priced I felt… and quantity wasn’t insanely over the top, but was plenty for us. If I had a gripe… this has the makings of a very nice restaurant. They had a radio on in the restaurant to a local radio station. It was a bit tacky listening to local commercials when i was trying to enjoy a «date» per se. A small investment in satellite radio or a few CD’s playing background music(not necessarily Italian music… just something that would avoid tacky commercials for car washes, other restaurants, or McDonalds). Make no mistake, I’d go again. I enjoyed it.

I don’t understand how this place doesn’t have higher reviews. The food is amazing and the service is as well. I’ve eaten at some of the best restaurants in the Lehigh valley and this place is up there. Rita was amazing, very personable and attentive. We sat outside and they borrowed an umbrella from the place next door so my grandma could have some shade. All in all it was a great experience. Id highly recommend this place.

Something fishy going on here with a slew of positive reviews hidden under«not recommended». This place is somewhere between very good and excellent. We’ve been well over a half dozen times since they opened, but never had any of the issues some expressed. It’s a well run establishment with tasty food & exemplary service. How many people are going to complain about paying for a glass of wine??? It’s ridiculous. You might still get a free glass at the place across the street, but it’s nothing special at all because… it’s free. BYOB is a great option to have or you can pay for the limited selection offered here. Much ado about nothing. Lunch and dinner options are both solid. The menus are expansive. Everything from the fish, chicken, pasta and salads are well above average. Nice atmosphere as well. Unilocal fails here big time with a seriously questionable job of filtering most of the good reviews.

We ate at Molto with a group of 4 last weekend. Everyone’s food was prepared as advertised. I had the Pazzo Antonio and it was delicious. Despite the good food, I must say it was the most uncomfortable and awkward dinner that I have ever experienced. Our waiter was very attentive(some what overly attentive) but friendly. After the table was cleared, our waiter returned to say he dropped«some» of our food on the floor that was supposed to be boxed. He asked, «is that okay?» What are you supposed to say to that? As it turned out, he must have meant to say«all» of the food, because my boyfriend did not get his box. When the check arrived, there was a «misc» charge on the bill, in addition to a «$ 5 cork fee.» As it turns out, the«misc» charge was for a «complimentary» glass of wine that the waiter offered my friend. When the owner was questioned, she explained that they have a «limited license» and thats why we were charged. When my boyfriend mentioned that his meal was dropped and unable to be boxed, she asked«How much was left?» What?!! At that point, the waiter came over and tried to say that my boyfriend ordered a special sauce(he ordered something right off the menu) as if that would excuse him from dropping the dish. To make up for our troubles, they dropped the $ 7 misc fee, and the $ 5 cork fee. Wow! Once our check was paid, the owner came over to say that she was surprised by what had happened. that he was her best server. Yikes! I do not see Molto being around much longer if this is how they run their business. Save yourself the hassle and go to Mama Ninas!
