The Walking Company

I purchased 2 pairs of sandals with Velcro closures. After a short time the leather straps stretched and could not be tightened enough to wear securely. When I returned to the store to ask what could be done, the salesperson kept asking me the same questions and made no attempt to recognize my problem and help to fix it. Poor customer service for expensive shoes that I cannot wear.

We were left with other customers on the floor with no sales associate for a good minute or two. As a former sales associate I know that this isn’t okay. Anyone could have walked out with several pairs of shoes. There was also only one associate that was there to help several people so finding shoes took awhile. The second associate showed up but by that time we were on our way out.

This is my first time going to any TWC stores. I am not dissapointed. Juanita gave me THE BEST customer service I have ever received in my LIFE! I was looking for shoes for work (medical field so I am on my feet a lot) and I did not realize how hard it would be to find the perfect pair. Even though it was closing time Juanita was so pleasant and patient without being pushy that I could not walk out of that store without buying a pair of shoes which luckily she helped me find the perfect pair just when I was about to give up! She completely earned me as a customer and made me feel valued. There was another young lady as well whom was very pleasant so it really makes me feel that TWC knows how to pick the right people :). I hope that Juanita earns some kind of recognition for her amazing customer service she definitely deserves it!

Major shout-​out for great customer service. A friend and I were both looking for comfortable shoes, and decided to stop at the Walking Company while shopping in Montgomery Mall. One of the sales staff was very helpful, and excelled at juggling several customers’ requests almost simultaneously. Ultimately we did not find anything to buy (although I am still thinking about one pair), but based on our experience, will certainly return.
