It has been exactly four months since I had the Botox injections at The Dermatology Center/​Rockledge Med Spa that resulted in the eyelid ptosis. The eyelid is largely improved although not completely back to normal. This is consistent with what Dr. Yu told me when I saw him after this occurred as he told me very apologetically that it would probably last until the Botox wore off. It is of course exactly the opposite of what I was told by the «office manager» and the «patient care coordinator». They both assured me that it would be fine after a few weeks and to use the prescribed drops. The care by these two women was so abysmal and their assurances so misleading and outright wrong that I’d be shocked if they are still employed by a medical office. In addition, the injector was not inexperienced as one might imagine, she has many many years of experience so one can only conclude that she was careless. I never heard from her after this occurred which does not surprise me given the extremely poor response by the office. I repeat, get your Botox elsewhere!
