Dr Richards has a great reputation and is extremely knowledgeable. He is also one of the nicest doctors I have ever been referred to. I came to him for advice after developing a bacterial infection from breast implant surgery that had been performed by another doctor. His consultation was extremely helpful and he really cared about my well being. I followed through with his recommendations, and because of his urgency I ended up back in surgery the same day to remove the implants. I truly believe he saved me from a situation that could have been life threatening. I have heard and read wonderful things about Dr Richards and am upset with myself that I hadn’t gone to him initially when I was considering breast augmentation surgery. Anyway, thank goodness I am in touch with him now and look forward to scheduling a follow up surgery to get breast implants inserted properly.

One year ago, I got a chin implant. Doctor Richards is the surgeon who performed it.
The day after the surgery I noticed my lip was not moving on the right side. My lip was fine before the surgery. But the day after the surgery my lip was paralyzed.
So I went right away to the doctor. First Doctor Richards told me my lip was uneven because of the swelling due to the surgery and explained that the swelling would go down with time and patience. I met him many times for follow up visits.
He continuously kept telling me my lip would get better. According to him it was a question of time and I had to relax. One year after the surgery he recommended me to go to visit a neurologist. I didn’t have any health insurance. Doctor Richards never in my opinion did not take my case seriously. I still have a paralyzed lip and he never offered to fix his mistake. He forgot me. I wish I could forget him. But I just can not. I am a hairstylist. And all day long I am in front of a mirror talking with my customers. My lip is not moving and very noticeable. So please think twice before getting cosmetic surgery. Everyone was super nice and friendly before I got my surgery: The surgeon, the nurse and the assistant. They tell you exactly what you like to hear to make you to trust them. And once your face is messed up because of the surgeon…
They actually do not care after the surgery. They do not care if you are upset, sad or if your life is a turmoil. You are alone with your pain and they are having fun with your money you gave to get an improvement. If it happened to me it can happen to you.
