It’s delicious pizza at a great price. What more can you possibly ask for? Service is always efficient and the staff are great at what they do. The Buffalo Chicken and Pesto pizzas are absolutely scrumptious!

This place has good pizza but service is terrible it’s 9:07 and no one is picking up the phone. Was calling for a pic up and my wife drove by and place is closed!!! Really what kind of place are they running here!

If you want to grab a couple of slices, and have the racist white kids working behind the counter spew communist rhetoric while taking about race issues, go here. Im a minority and do now know why I am paying to have the three millennials act all self important and talk about how great they are as pizza store cashiers while making racist comments for people supporting and not supporting presidential candidates. Apparently minorities are a complete class of people who should vote how they think. Timeline for this behavior: 3pm-3:30pm Saturday April 2nd.

Thin, crispy and great crust. Made the mistake of putting what I thought was garlic but it was Garlic salt-on my pizza. I didn’t even ask for a new slice but they happily made me a new one. Favorites are plain cheese and Whitestone.

This place rocks!!! Their sausage pizza rules(probably because it’s the only one I’ve had). Definitely come here sometime to try it out. You’ll be sorry if you don’t!

Great pizza but slowwwww service. Both times I’ve placed basic orders during non peak hours and it’s taken over 90 minutes to arrive. Unacceptable in the competitive Bethesda market. One time it was for a birthday lunch and some participants couldn’t even enjoy their lunch because of how long it took. Will be ordering elsewhere from now on. Which is a shame because they do make nice pizza.

I recently ordered Flippin’ Pizza for takeout on a weekday evening. I should have known things wouldn’t be easy when it took 5+ minutes just to order over the phone(placed on hold multiple times, not quoted a price, etc.) I got the Bronx pizza, salad, and garlic knots. The salad was just sad iceberg lettuce(sadly what I expected) and the garlic knots were overcooked pizza dough sitting in a pool of oil. All of that being said the pizza was actually really really good. I got delivery and it arrived in a reasonable time(45 mins or so) but I see from the reviews others were not so fortunate. I was also told there is a carryout only special that is buy one get one on Mon/Tues, I think that is the only way I would give this place another chance.

Fast, cheap and yummy. My only qualm is that the dine in area always seems to be a mess.

Horrible horrible experience. Don’t be fooled by the free delivery offered by grubhub. I ordered a veggie pizza and garlic knots and the estimated delivery time was 1 hour. Ok no problem I can live with it. 20 minutes in I checked grub hub and my delivery time had been pushed back 25 minutes. Concerned about the delivery I called the location to have confirmed my veggie pizza was on a car on route to me. Exactly 1 hour later the driver arrived. He was holding a bag with 4 pizzas. He reached in and gave me a box and asked me to confirm it was the right one. Unfortunately it was a meat pizza. I handed it back to him and he went through each other box only to see none were veggie. He then asked if I would take 2 Whitestone pizzas instead of what I ordered. At this time, it was past a normal dinner time and the location was closing soon so if I wanted to eat pizza I had to take him up on the offer. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the pizza was actually pretty good even though it wasn’t warm at all. The garlic knots were dough balls that were hard as wood and then dunked in oil sauce. May give them Another chance only because pizza was pretty good

This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Staff is rude and inattentive. Flippin had a great opportunity and blew it. I walked out while paying that’s how bad they are. An embarrassment to pizza!!!

The pizza is very fresh and very tasty. Quick service and hot food. It reminds me of the pizza I used to get on the boardwalk in O.C. The people are friendly and nice. I know this sounds weard but their soda is THEBESTSODAEVER. I like the spicy pepperoni and love the plain cheece pizza. The price is right.

My daughter used to come here daily when she was going to WJ. This day we were starving and needed something quick. The staff was pleasant, the restaurant was ok and our food(regular cheese pizza) was not bad at all. I would go back.

I tried the standard cheese pizza, can there me anything more pure than cheese pizza(of course not). It was good New York Style pizza and for a chain not too bad. I most likely would eat here again, especially on Monday/Tuesday buy one get one; otherwise nothing too outstanding.

Sadly, my favorite local pizza place is going downhill. Flipping has been a mess the past few times I’ve been. It’s a slow Monday evening now and they’re out of pepperoni slices, two of the five drink fountains were out of order(including no lemonade, the only non carbonated fountain option for kiddo), and napkins and trash are strewn all over the floor.

My boys love Flippin pizza! The staff is pretty friendly too which is a plus. I’m used to the«place your order and keep it moving» mentality. Not the case here. Oh and Monday’s and Tuesday’s, as an added bonus, are but one get one free! Perfect for big families like ours. A large with toppings usually run us around $ 20 bucks. Not too bad. We like to order: white cheese, meat lovers, chicken and veggie/fruit combo.

Came here for the first time on a Thursday night. Originally, the gf and I wanted to go to chipotle next door but the line was extremely long… So we decided to go to flipping pizza where the line was almost nonexistent… The reason I rated it three out of 5 stars was because the restaurant makes the pizza and sets it outside under a heat lamp. When customers arrive… They just take the slice and just reheat it… Not the most ideal situation for a fresh pizza. The pizza itself was ok, but not great… I will say that I think the pizza will probably taste better if you order a whole pizza instead of just one slice… Guess I’ll have to try that next time… The place does have a private lot for parking so that’s good… Not a whole lot of seats so if it’s crowded… Be prepared to eat on the go… Overall… Not terrible but not awesome… Just mediocre

Good, quick, and cheap lunch. Two pizza slices and a drink for $ 6 is not a bad deal at all. If the owner is the guy who wears the backwards fitted hat, he’s pretty cool and friendly.

FULLDISCLOSURE: I am not a fan of NY style pizza, I love Chicago Deep Dish pizza I stopped here on lunch after hearing a lot about it and I walked in once before but none of the pizza looked appetizing(mainly because I’m not a fan of NY style) but today I went in and got a calzone. The guy at the counter convinced me it was worth a try. MANWASHERIGHT! I have been in the DMV a little over two years and this was by far the best calzone I’ve had since I’ve been out here, and it is easily top 5 all time. The calzone was huge, probably about 10 inches long and extremely cheesy(which I love). They also give you a wide dipping cup with sauce which is very nice. Overall, I don’t think I will try the pizza, but I will be back for the calzone.

Flippin’ Pizza can best be described as… a 3-star pizza joint, and that’s about it. I was craving average greasy cheese pizza(.because that’s apparently a craving I get,) checked my Unilocal app, and bopped over to Flippin’ Pizza. Their 2 slices + a XL fountain drink for $ 6 is a decent deal, mainly because the slices are HUGE. But that doesn’t make them good. I don’t think I’d ever go out of my way to buy a whole, overpriced pie from Flippin’. I was craving average greasy cheese pizza… and that’s exactly what I got. The slices’ grease soaked through the paper take-out bag, the cheese was thin and rubbery, the sauce had no flavor(and I was forgetful enough to not douse the slices in hot sauce /red pepper flakes before eating them), and the crust was hard and burnt. But they were huge. Maybe the other pizza varieties are better? Not that they were particularly novel – when I went, there were just standard red and white pies. So, if you want inventive, delicious, or exciting pizza that’s above average… don’t go here. But if you’re in Bethesda craving big 3-star pizza slices for an okay price, this is the place to go.
