I ordered an 18 inch pizza from slice factory. The pizza just arrived. Sadly, I’m lactose intolerant so I had to take the cheese off. I’m glad I did because there was a thick black hair cemented in the side of the dough. I’ve never been so disgusted.

I was debating whether to give this 4 or 5 stars. First off, pretty solid food. Their burgers are amaaaaaazing! I get the Factory Burger every time, and I’m so happy that I have delicious burgers within walking distance of my house. They’re waffle fries and cheese ravioli are also delicious. My issue(and it’s not even a big one) is that the pizza isn’t as flavorful as it could be. The cheese is good, but the sauce is generic, and the ratio of cheese/sauce isn’t balanced with the crust. Besides that though, it’s still good. Regardless, strongly consider getting a burger here. I was pleasantly surprised!

We have been ordering from Slice Factory for several years now. These guys drive me nuts. They are so inconsistent in their service and quality. Their food does not always match the description, which is frustrating. My most recent transaction involved a Chopped Chicken Salad. They sent lettuce with a couple bits of bacon, 4 tubs of dressing, 4 hard-boiled eggs… no chicken whatsoever… not even a tiny piece. Also, who in the hell uses 4 tubs of dressing!!! 2 tubs are more than enough. I called to complain and the employee apologized profusely and removed the charge from my bill. He kept carrying on… but I hung up on him after the 8th time he said«oh man». Their salads are always accompanied by stale/rock-hard bread. They reduced the size of their soups but didn’t change pricing. The pizza is the definition of mediocre. On a separate occasion… we waited 90 minutes for delivery… and it still wasn’t here. They are 8 blocks away from us(I know, I know… why don’t I just go pick it up). I finally called them and they were trying to find out where our food was. I just told him to cancel it and I ordered from another restaurant. Of course, the delivery driver shows up 15 minutes later(so 1 hr. 45 min. after I ordered). I told him«no thanks» and he went along his way. I actually stopped ordering from them for a few months after this. Unfortunately, there are not that many similar restaurants that deliver around us. BTW — what a dumb name… Slice Factory.

Great pizza, great service by carmine, he takes great customer service action and cares about there service, food and cleanliness of his restaurant, negatives about the restaurant is the cups plastic lid keeps opening when you want to take a drink and pop goes all over you, beware of wetting your cell phone, keep your phone off the table. They need new cups and lids

The one best thing about this place: the pizza. When I was first introduced to this place my junior year of high school(2001), I was hooked. The slice of pizza with drink deal is worth it. This was practically the biggest hangout for local high schoolers. Anyone who was anyone knew where to get a good slice. Also, there were times the family and I would order boxes of pizza and They were just as good as the slices. I lived in Lyons when I first started eating here. Then I moved in 2007. I kept wondering where I can find another Bacci’s near me. Thankfully there was one location in McHenry, IL. But, it closed down. It’s now another pizza joint. Now the only times I have a chance to go to Bacci’s is either when I happen to be visiting Berwyn or after I watch a Cubs game in Wrigleyville. Trust me, whenever someone talks about pizza, I mention this place because of the deals. Again, I miss this place a lot. If only there was another Bacci’s opened where I live at, I’d probably live in it. Lol.

I haven’t had good experiences ordering from this place. First off, they WAY overload the sauce. Seriously, you can’t take a bite without sauce squirting all over your face every time. So, I called asking to please use an average amount of sauce that you would get from most pizza joints(even the girl that answered the phone said«Yeah, I don’t understand why they use so much sauce»). The pizza comes and it has almost no sauce on it and tastes horrible. Obviously, they can’t understand having a medium between way overloading the sauce and putting nothing on there. Needless to say, I haven’t ordered from them since.

First off I have been using Unilocal for years but never had an account until tonight. I used grub hub to place an order. That was a mistake. I arrived to pick up my order after placing it 40 mins before. That’s fine I am patient, but than the employee said«we didn’t confirm your order» and if I wanted to wait 15 minutes for the order I politely said no and he responded«it wasn’t our fault» after telling me they did not confirm the order through grub hub. First and last time I will order from this place.

Kids’ BIRTHDAY Party order. We ordered 3 pizzas. One ½ pepperoni, one all sausage, the other 18″ veggies pizza contained: green peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc. We really enjoyed our two 30″ PARTYSIZE pizza pies. We expected really large party sizes, but these were JUMBO! The kids were all excited when they saw these massive boxes. I especially appreciate delivery service.(I certainly Didn’t want 2leave the party just 2feed my guests after all). For The delivery: the fellow was prompt, curteous, beyond professional, greeted us with a friendly smile, and even convenieced us, the hosts, by delivering thru rear at a backyard party. He was so patient when my husband was not easily found(with his fat wallet). Good food at a fair prices, that’s what we were delivered Saturday when we thought we were just ordering pizza! Thnx Slice Factory see U again real soon.

BUYERBEWARE!!! Raw Sausage under a heat lamp causes projectile vomiting and diarrhea. A Manifesto. I stop at this place after having nothing to eat all day and the place looks nice. Clean on the inside. Modern Furniture. Things were looking up. I get over to the pizza slices and they’re all gone except 2. A veggie and an all meat pizza. I get my wife the veggie and I choose the meat. I take it home and eat it. Everything is normal… a few hours later while watching Breaking Bad, I feel sick like I want to throw up. I dismiss it because ASAC Hank Shrader was killed and I’m in disbelief. Initially i chalk it up to that and continue my night. All of a sudden it hits me, like a ton of bricks. All that Pizza I ate is now on the floor in the form of vomit along with a sharp pain in my stomach. I stand there is disbelief, wondering how I got this spell of projectile vomit. Than a second wave hits me. BAM! Im on the toilet with the worst diarrhea of my life. I mean horrible. Seriously the worst experience of my life. The stomach pains were incredible. I thought I was going to die. I asked my wife to call an ambulance but she said I was being a big baby(this time I wasn’t) This went on several times through the night. Vomit. Poop. Vomit. Poop. I was ready to write my will at that point. After contemplating what could cause this, I get the bright Idea to examine my vomit, and low and behold I find bits of raw sausage in it. Not cooked. Not half cooked. RAW… Raw Sausage… RAWSAUSAGE!!! Hidden under cheese probably that’s why I didn’t spot it. I became enraged. I felt like going back there with my bucket of vomit and showing them what they’ve done to me all while foaming out the mouth, but my sanity prevailed and I did some research. Raw meat that has sat out too long grows specific bacteria causing projectile vomiting and diarrhea. Obviously the owners don’t know this. I mean, they must sit back and cook one slice raw and give it to some lucky customer, then sit back and laugh maniacally while imagining the suffering. Now that I think about it they all looked at me funny like there was some inside joke That might be the pig worm talking that has also infected my mind with paranoia, but I digress. Do yourself a favor. Stay far away from this place. Either they don’t know how to cook a big pizza(high heat with convection) or something is wrong with their sanitary practices. BUYERBEWARE!

I remember when this place used to be a credible fast pizza restaurant. I suppose with time, it became less than that. The service today has decreased exponentially. When my girlfriend and I were at the register, there were 5 workers just talking and EXCHANGING money in front of us. They didnt acknowledge us really just looked and minded their own business. Second the pizza did not look fresh and the only pizza that was out was sausage; despite the other pizzas that were labeled to be on the menu. Furthermore, the pizza is over priced for jumbo slices that have been left out for the whole day. So needless to say, we left and went across the street to a different venue for our services. Which was cheaper, faster, and had superb service. My advice, you can go to this place but don’t expect quality taste with this kind of service and protocol.

If you’re starving and in the mood for so-so pizza in a gigantic portion for cheap, COMETOBACCI! The pizza is just okay, but you really can’t beat the jumbo slice and free pop special. For $ 5, you can get a ginormous piece of pizza(cheese, pepperoni, and sausage, that is; the special, meat lovers, and veggie slices cost $ 5.50 each), plus a pop. I usually don’t order anything besides water to keep costs down, so I’m torn between thinking that this is a bargain(like a «free» drink), or if I’m being forced to pay more than I want to for the pop. Either way, I’m ultimately a fan of getting the drink. Now, let’s talk about that pizza. First of all, I always get cheese, so I can’t comment on the meat or veggies. The crust is dense but thin, and the pizza itself can be floppy because it is relatively thin, which should be unsurprising given how huge the pieces are. I have never finished a slice in a sitting, so I usually cut it in half and make two separate meals out of it. I’ve seen both boys and grown men easily eat the whole slice, so take that for what it is. The sauce is bland, making for an overall plain pizza with no «kick» to it. That being said, there is hardly any sauce at all, which I dislike in my pizzas. The makeup of a Bacci slice is like this: very thin crust(but not light crunchy perfect; «dull» is the word that comes to mind when I think of this crust), almost nonexistent amount of sauce, a layer of cheese that congeals quickly as you eat it. I know the pizza sounds unimpressive, and it is. But the slice is HUGE, and it’s still pizza that’s nearby. I miss the days when the special was a big honking piece of pizza and a pop for a mere $ 3, but I get that the price had to go up to keep up with the times. Maybe the quality is better since my last visit, so I’ll be sure to stop by again sometime soon!

Bacci’s pizza quality has greatly improved since my original review, and they have a lot more by-the-slice options than before as well. I find myself coming here quite a bit more often than before, though I still hit up Nonno’s more. Good job.

I used to deliver for them part time back in ’06! I give them a 4⁄5 because of many reasons. Although the staff were great people and hard workers, the beloved $ 3 slice and drink combo has been long gone. Why, you ask? The $ 3-to-$ 5 jump was made to bring you better quality product. I’ll be honest(and Dom may be upset about this) but they didn’t have top quality stuff prior to 2007. I mean, it wasn’t low-grade stuff but it wasn’t top-dollar, either. Now you’re getting top-dollar product for just $ 2 more to your total. Plus the entire décor has improved and adds more to the dining experience. The price adjustment also adds to the new slices they have. I saw a Bacci Special and Meat Lovers, etc., there’s your $ 2! I have no complaints about Bacci(in Berwyn) and have been coming there since 2000. I am even grateful to have been a part of the company. Just remember to be kind and tip your drivers. Especially, you, Cicero. Now, Bacci on Addison on the other hand…

Sorry Bacci, my last order was last week. I understand the order I made was put into the computer wrong, and no one noticed it until I came to pick it up and said something. It wasn’t the gross shrimp and spinach pizza you gave me for waiting 15 minutes while the spinach and mushroom I ordered was cooking. It wasn’t the fact that your deep dish is really just thick crust pizza. It was, after all this trouble, that you didn’t put the garlic crust on that I ordered and paid for. That was 1 to many things to make me want to come back. Quality control would be better for your business than buy 1 get 1 free.

Consistently fast, fresh, and friendly. Two ginormous slices with a soda for $ 6 is quite the deal; the pie is really quite good! Was at Bacci on two occasions and moved thru a huge line of customers quickly, got fresh, hot pizza, very friendly staff, and a genuinely excellent experience. Parking lot is terrible, though. Try street parking on Home… but be speedy so you don’t get a ticket!

I can’t believe it took me this long to write a review of Bacci! I’m only giving four stars because the Jumbo Slice(and soda) isn’t great pizza, and the cheese only borders on not good pizza. But that’s what my kids love — cheese only. Recently, I’ve been getting the special pizzas(Saturdays only??) or sausage. They are MUCH better — maybe it’s because they have more sauce? I like pizza with a lot of sauce. The other menu items that I’ve tried have all been good. Lately I tried the fried calamari. At $ 8 it’s not a great bargain, but for the amount you get it’s in line. The calamari was the way I like it, with a bit of a chew to it. The breading was nice — not as heavy as some others. Nice local joint.
