If there was an option for 0 stars, that’s what I would give. I have NEVER been treated so poorly and so utterly disrespected at any spa establishment in my life. When I called to make a group appt for 4(for several treatments each, we were spending a lot of money here), of us for my birthday, I spoke to MEGAN. On the phone– she claimed to be able to accommodate our needs which were made VERY clear on this phone call SEVERALTIMES: that this was a birthday celebration with 4 friends who required breaks in between our treatments so we could all meet up in the relaxation area in between to talk and hang out, where we were bringing plenty of food and wine for our day together and truly have a relaxing«girls day». That was the whole point of this day, not to check-in only to then see each other 4 hrs later when we were all checking out.(1 woman drove in from CT that morning for this, and the other 3 had to rearrange a lot of moving pieces to acquire babysitters for the day). When we arrived, MEGAN, did not smile or even greet us with a «hello, welcome, etc». She pointed to the forms and were told to fill them out. We did as such then were shown our individual schedules. I’m thinking there must be a mistake bc mine,(whose bday party it was), was booked back to back the entire day with no breaks as we had discussed. Now, let me be clear, had her ATTITUDE, DELIVERY, or utter lack of any professionalism not been so horrid, this obviously could have been worked out. HOWEVER, what I got when asked her why the day was not laid out as we discussed, and WHY had no one bothered to even tell me and I’m just now seeing it for myself as I’m about to put a robe on, I got an eye roll, a complete attitude, a literal back turned on me at her desk, and a «well someone called out yesterday and today and it messed everything up» without so much as an apology or care in the world to be honest. I said why wasn’t I notified of this yesterday then before we came in today? She actually said–«I don’t know what difference that would have made». Are you serious? Then she literally turned her back on me and rolled around to face her computer and ignore me with ANY offer of help or assistance to correct the matter. UNBELIEVABLE. The poor masseuse was left standing there awkwardly trying to look at the schedule and see what she could do for me to fix this. I obviouoy asked to speak to the manger, who I find out is actually the owner which makes it even worse: I’m told she will come find me as soon as she can. I was there OVER4HRS, then was time to check out and guess what– no manager. I asked for her AGAIN, I’m told she will be done in 15 mins with a client, I say fine I’ll wait. 10 mins later the ever-not-helpful Megan obviously goes and has a conversation with the manger, only to then come out and inform me that actually THIS owner does«not deal with this stuff». ISTHIS A JOKE? I honestly feel like I’m being pranked at this point it’s so unbelievable. I have been waiting the ENTIRE day for this manager and now suddenly she«does not deal with this stuff»?? And I’m offered a 10% discount basically to try and shut me up and get me out the door. I’m then told I can call back in 3DAYS for the OTHER owner/manager, bc apparently she does«deal with this stuff». I’m guessing suddenly that owner will never be available to speak to either. In a town as small as this one, you should really be more aware of how you and your staff treat your clients,(there are PLENTY of other spas in the area), and take into consideration especially when someone has planned a special celebration in your establishment, you should make damn sure it goes smoothly and with at least kindness and professionalism. And– i have been in the service industry, so am more forgiving than most as «I get it», but this was beyond terrible treatment from Megan, and the complete lack of someone actually running the place on a Saturday. This town is all word-of-mouth, you should remember that.
