Jamie is a sweetheart and her cupcakes are absolutely fantastic. I love how their not sugary sweet so I can actually eat all the icing. She makes cakes too! Favorite cupcake: Nutella bomb

Great food, awesome service. Can’t leave without taking at least ½ dozen cupcakes (the only cupcakes my family will eat).

My husband and I ordered the fajita special with a side of sweet potato fries and the chef’s special: pernil y arroz con platanos. The food probably takes around 10 – 15 minutes, but it is well worth the wait. The sweet potato fries were amazing. The ingredients of the fajita meshed well with each other. The pernil was salty, but when combined with rice was good. We will definitely come back to try different dishes and cupcakes.

I’ve been trying to get my wife here since it opened and it started getting great buzz. We don’t live nearby and when we’re usually in the area we hit up Olympia Diner… well not this time. We went for lunch on a Saturday and when we walked in we were the only customers. Jamie the co-​owner, waitress and baker extraordinaire greeted us warmly and we instantly felt welcomed. My wife ordered the regular burger with fries, I had the pernil lunch special (which was massive and massively delicious). Others have reviewed that dish much better than I can but suffice it to say you get a PILE of amazing pork, spanish rice and plantains. It was far more than I could eat in one sitting. My wife’s burger was equally delicious… full of grilled flavor and the bun was awesome and perfectly grilled to her liking. We ended our meal by buying 6 cupcakes and these were worth the stop alone. All 6 were filled with a delicious and not overly sweet frosting (just the way I like them). Light, flavorful, delicious.

Life’s short, get a cup cake

Finally, a non-​chain eatery has opened on the Berlin Turnpike, and in Berlin too!
After reading the terrific reviews on here and looking at the yummy photos on their Facebook page, I decided to come here with my ma and da on a Saturday afternoon for a bite to eat.
From the moment I walked in when Jamie (co-​owner and pastry chef) immediately welcomed us and gave us the menu, I felt like I was family.
The menu was simple, but some of their burgers were very unique like the Peanut Butter and Jelly burger. I ordered their Spanish plate of pork shoulder, rice and beans, plantain chips, and avocado slices. It was delicious and portioned and priced reasonably ($ 8.99). In fact, I have enough to give my husband the leftovers for dinner tonight when I am at work.
My parents, who are as adventurous as peanut butter and jelly, really LOVED their meals. My mom had the veggie burger with sweet potato fries. She was going on and on about how yummy her meal was on her way home. My dad had their BLT special which was a BLT with pesto instead of mayo. OMG, it was a flavor bomb (in a good way)!
For something sweet afterwards, my dad and I split a homemade chocolate buttercream cupcakes; so moist and yummy! They do sell cupcakes in packages as well! Good to know if I have to bring baked goods to somewhere!
From looking at their Facebook page, I will hopefully get to try their soups and other specials.
Stop here on the Berlin Turnpike instead of a fast food place!
