What a great concept. My husband and I like to eat at home but we get easily bored with the same old and also I hate buying all kinds of spices that we use only a couple times. They have some great recipes (try the potato soup!). Also, the owners are very nice, friendly people. Highly recommend!

Did not know this place was right around the corner from us. The owners are friendly, motivated and have a great concept. why buy a bunch of spices for a recipe you might only make once?
Well, I’m totally ok with too many spices because I like a good challenge, but there are plenty of people who don’t, lol. That said, there are some really fun ideas here and we thought this would be a good way to introduce American favorites to our friends overseas. The recipes are extremely thorough, and we walked out with a few gifts.
So I give it 4 stars — 3 stars for me, but 5 star for everyone else who should come here.
Will have to make it a point to stop in and support our local business :)

I feel like the owners are what make this place– I go in maybe three or four times a year, and they still somehow know who I am. They always have a sample out, and if you go during a Berkley festival they’ll have wine too :) I’ve tried a few different recipes, and they’ve all been great!

Cool idea of spices ready to go, it makes cooking easy and it is cheaper, most of the kits are about what you would pay for one spice or herb.
I wont have to buy another herb or spices that i will only use once, or that will expire before i get to use them again. Everything is in a packet ready to use, they even include a recipe with it.
I love the soft pretzels, they are so good hot out the oven, there is nothing better!!!

Excellent spice recipe kits — at a very good price! We’ve made a couple of them and have been very pleased. It’s really a unique place with very friendly and helpful owners!

This place is cool, if you’re looking for a fast recipe to make, this is where it’s at. Saved me some cash from having to buy a hundred different seasonings just to make one thing. The owners were very nice, and very helpful when I asked them about any recipe they had. I bought the Indian fry bread, keftka kabobs, and a few dipping oils. Awesome! I’ll definitely be back!

This is a great place if you want to try a recipe without buying all the spices individually. All the recipe kits are handmade and you a receive a recipe card with everything, no guess work. Highly recommended!
