Only a few miles from the hustle and bustle of downtown Detroit, is a wonderful organization that is truly beneficial to the community. Visiting the institute was enjoyable and relaxing the brothers are very kind and courteous. They have various groups that help the community, including using tiles to make pictures.
I enjoyed the various religious groups that come to the institute, including the Quakers. I got to see the Careavan up close that delivers food to the homeless. A great place.

Song and Spirit Institute for Peace is a unique and welcoming organization that we have thoroughly enjoyed. They combine music, art, and community service with the goal of furthering justice and peace in enjoyable and spiritually uplifting atmosphere. What is really fascinating is the way Brother Al, Maggid Steve, and Mary link Christianity and Judaism in song, prayer, dialogue, art and community events that foster a feeling of belonging in a genuine and kind way. Recommend them highly!
