Great Clips

If you want to look like an idiot for weeks on end, come here and get a haircut. Laura was unable to follow simple instructions like «don’t cut the top.» I left the place with an uneven haircut that was too short. Possibly one of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten.

Looking for a new place to get your hair cut is not always fun or easy, but I am very happy to say that finding this Great Clips was an awesome find! All the hairdresser are super friendly and nice. Also they have a great mobile app with online check-​in, it makes it super easy to make an appointment to get my haircut. My partner and I have been coming to this location for sometime now and love getting our hair cut from Betty, she is super nice and funny. We have a great time every time we go and are very happy on how she cuts our hair (We are picky about our haircuts so that’s says a lot!). Now, it feels like we are going to see and old friend each time we go to get our hair cut, and you can’t beat the price.

I love this place. Getting my hair cut always here and always satisfied with the service and price. The owner Arash is great and very nice. Recommending this place to everyone.

This place has great customer service. Arash knows exactly what kind of haircut you want. The price is reasonable and the wait is not long at all. I definitely recommend this place. I’m so happy that I chose this place.

I love this Great Clips. Arash is an excellent stylist who always seems to know exactly what I am looking for. I love catching up with him. He makes my time there very enjoyable and relaxing.

Took my son here to get a haircut, BIG MISTAKE! Do NOT come here! Poor customer service, no greetings when you walk in & then the F — U– haircut that my son got. Long story short, Filipino lady recommended a line up, hair was too short for a comb over, did the «so-​called line up», what a mistake that was. I argued that it was crooked because my son said «stop» called me over to check, he noticed it looked weird, sure enough it was jacked up! Got into an argument with the lady & then she said she’s not specialized in line ups when she recommended it!!! WTF! I complained to the other lady that was working there & she even agreed that that Filipina had an attitude & messed up my son’s hair, her own co-​worker agreed! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

The customer service is just not up to par. Two out of the 3 times I have been there I couldn’t believe how rude the hairdressers were. I will not be coming back.

I have been here before and the service was fine… in quick, nice people, did a good job. However, today as I walked in at 8:30pm, the two ladies running the shop look at me and say, «Oh, we can’t take you. We are closed now.» Um… no you’re not. Your sign says you close at 9:00pm. If you stop taking clients at 8:30pm then THAT is when you should close.
Poor customer service. Lazy workers who did not want to trim my hair which takes a total of 10 minutes.

They told me my cut was for $ 18, I asked for recipe and it said the cut was for $ 7.99 on discount. The hairstylist pocketed $ 10 to his name with the $ 5.00 tip I left him. This place need to check there staff. They won’t be open long if they keep doing this to the business. Will never step foot in here again. The haircut was also horrible the hairstylist didn’t even care about lining my sides I had to ask him after he took the apron off. Don’t recommend at all stay away.

Just called to make an appointment with my favorite stylist, Laura, and heard she’s no longer there. They won’t tell us where she might be cutting hair now. Does anyone know if Laura is still cutting hair at a salon in the Bay Area? I would love to still be able to get one of her amazing haircuts.

ZERO STARS. Ladies, if you have long hair and wish to keep it that way, run for the hills.
I have long hair and purposely asked for a ½ inch trim because that’s all I wanted cut. The woman cut at least 5 inches off. It took her about 6 minutes so I’m not even sure how she managed to cut so much off. My hair is now the length it was one year ago when I started growing it out again from my last bad haircut. NOT HAPPY.
I don’t understand why hair stylists can’t comprehend that a TRIM is not the same as a full on haircut. I have long hair and want to keep it, that’s why I’m only paying $ 18 and not $ 70. So aggravating.
If anyone finds a stylist who actually listens to instructions and doesn’t butcher long hair, please message me!

Gina saved my hair! I had cut it short and it was super chopped up looking. I am a sculptor so if I could cut my hair myself I would. Therefore I am very particular about the smallest details, and Gina did a fantastic job so my hair would look perfectly blended but also in the specific style I love for a friend’s wedding the next day. Who knew I could get such a great walk-​in emergency haircut and for a very reasonable price — thanks Gina!

I would not recommend this place to anyone! My boyfriend went to get his haircut. The lady asked for his number and then wanted to go off of his history. He told her «not too short». but she immediately buzzed the sides and it was way too short! She didn’t understand his French accent but she was not friendly or patient with him at all. He finally got her to stop and a coworker finished and tried to fix it. My boyfriend was so upset and will never go back. Someone who wants to work with people should not treat people like that… get a new job.

Love this place! I’ve been here religiously now for over 3 years and have never been disappointed. My favorite person though is definitely the Vietnamese (?) guy who works in the mornings.
Other things I like about this place:
— They store your ‘preference’ in their system so if you make a return visit, they know what you like.
— You can make an appointment online, or even sign up for spot right before you show up so you minimize on your wait time (
)
— $ 20 for a haircut!

Was a walk in and they said I was next. Then an online checkin person came in after and bumped me out of line. The stylist was rude when trying to explain it to me. Why don’t you just tell me there was someone qued in front of me before saying I was next. Done with this place. That was ridiculous.

If you go here, avoid the man named Arash. I have had the worst hair experience of my life, thanks to him.
He was rude from go. He was clearly burdened asking my asking him to look up what length I got last time, which everyone else does automatically. I told him how I’d like it cut and he ignored me. He went to work quickly and carelessly, and incredibly rude when I asked him what he was doing (since I could tell it wasn’t what I asked). He said that what I wanted was impossible (though I’ve had it done that way for years), then proceeded to hack at my hair, giving me the impression he was messing it up.
I actually had to say tell him that I was uncomfortable with him and what he was doing. I seriously considered asking him to stop touching me, so I could wait for the other stylist to finish up correctly.
I don’t know if I’ll ever go back, but I do know that this man will never again touch my hair. I was shocked at being treated so disrespectfully by someone I was paying for service.
I’m giving this place two stars only because there are other stylists who are both capable and friendly. The other women can cut your hair without disrespecting you.

I stop by at Great Clips at least once every month and have Laura cut my hair!
She is amazing! Call the store before you walk in and ask for Laura. The other barbers do an okay job but not as good as her.

The 4 star is for Laura not Great Clips.
I’ve had many haircuts by many different hairdressers at many different places.
This is the first time I actually stick to the same person because she knows how to cut hair. I have been back to Laura four times since last year. Each time, I would give her different hair styles to cut, and she takes on the challenges.
She likes to cut hair, and it shows because she know how to cut hair.
I recommend Laura for your haircuts.

I know its only hair and it grows back, but getting a great haircut makes a huge difference in the meantime. That’s what I always get from Great Clips — a great haircut and without paying ridiculous prices.
Laura is the gal who cuts my hair and she does it so well that I’ve already imagined contingency plans just in case she ever leaves one day. The place accepts walk-​ins and there is rarely more than a few minute wait. On my advice, go and try Great Clips, ask for Laura and tell her that her favorite client, Paul sent you. You’ll get a big smile and a great hair cut. :)

They get an extra star just for being open late on a Saturday when I couldn’t find any other place to get my haircut. They also did a really good job and didn’t just try to cut my hair fast or rush just to close their shop. I appreciate the customer service and my hair looked really good afterwards.
