My boyfriend and I ate here today. We came here after a hike and looking on Unilocal for some food places nearby. I was craving some burgers so we found this place. I love the Rock music theme of the place. Also the waitress is super nice. But talking about the food, I ordered the Hendrix burger(grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, and Swiss cheese). My boyfriend ordered the AC/BC sandwich(chicken cutlet, cheddar cheese, bacon) and then we shared disco fries which is called Disco Sux, haha. The fries were amazing. I loved my burger, but for me, I like my burgers a little more seasoned. Other than that, everything else was good.

Loved our burgers at Rony’s. They have a huge selection of every type of burger. There’s beef turkey veggie… with some of the most amazing toppings. Very creative names that go alongside them too. I especially enjoyed the Yolk-O burger. Music related theme all around. Beef burger with cheese bacon egg and French fries! Love the music and all the old album décor too. We will be back

Ate here for dinner last night with my boyfriend. Was greeted by the owner/chef upon entry and made us feel super welcome. I felt like I was at a friend’s BBQ. Boyfriend loves classic rock so the décor/music/menu item names were right up his alley. Decided upon a cheeseburger and a BBQ burger combo which come with fries. And we waited. And you will wait… But, IT’S ALLFRESHLYMADETOORDER, down to the toppings, SOSTOPCOMPLAININGABOUTTHEWAIT. It’s their own ground beef combination. Hand cut fries. Even down to the lettuce tomato onion is cut for your burger. Owner assured us of this so «even the lettuce comes out with none of those brown spots». Whoa, that’s attention to detail. After working in the food business for over 7 years. I totally know what he’s talking about. Burgers were huge. Flavorful. Delicious. Fries were crispy. Salty(which I like). Yum. Rock sauce is their own magical blend of mayo-ey goodness. Heat builds. Delicious. Twisted sister is their own brewed sun tea with lemonade. Damn good Upon paying I told the waitress she forgot my water on the bill… And she told me it was included in the combo price… What?! Awesome. This place is a local gem. And for $ 25 bucks we ate for half the price of our other favorite burger joint that has half the personality. Rock on Rony.

My husband and I went here for dinner last week and we LOVED it! I had a veggie burger combo and he had a burger he enjoyed his as well! I don’t eat meat and was happy to know any of the burgers can be replaced with their amazing veggie burger. We can’t wait to go back(burgers are huge, you will not leave hungry)

Excellent choices and it was good to see he didn’t forget his vegetarian friends. Cool owner with great rock music playing. Had the red hot chili peppers with a vegetarian burger and sweet potato. $ 11.50 plus tax is listed price but it’s an extra $ 1 for veggie and $ 3 for sweet potato fries which made the total $ 16.25(tax included). A little high for a burger fries and can of soda but I understand sweet potato fries are more expensive than regular fries. Will come back when I’m in town craving a veggie burger but I’m not sure how many people would pay $ 16 plus tip for a quick lunch.

Came in and sat down. We placed a simple order of a strawberry milk shake, coke float, chocolate milk shake and coca cola. The waiter couldn’t remember that and came back numerous times asking if that’s what we wanted. We sat and talked for a WHILE till we noticed no food. I asked the waiter«excuse me where is our food?». She said«we make our food fresh along with the sides». So we waited even MORE for the staff to go pick a cow to kill, pick fresh vegetables and cook our burgers. The food finally came out, look good, but wasn’t all that. I cheated on Black Rebel Burger for this?! Opinons are like assholes everyone has one so this is mine. So the bill comes… cool does every bill come with cock roach?

This place is Legit. My man is back there slinging burgers with Nothing but the best rock playing in the background. Everything is made to order and when it comes, it doesn’t disappoint a real burger lover. My cousin ordered the chicken sandwich, which was tossed in buffalo sauce and stacked high! This place is great.

The best burger around. The absolutely best fries. Everything fresh and cooked to order. While you eat you get to listen to classic rock from Ronnie s own play list. I highly recommend Ronnie s rocking grill

This place is really great! From the burgers to the fries(try the«Disco Sucks» fries — the gravy is LEGIT) to the shakes(one of the few shakes I think is worth the cost) to the drinks(I got a really hefty amount of tea & lemonade mixed together — everything is fantastic. My favorite burger is the B.B. King w/rock sauce(the specialty of the house). Highly recommended!

Awesome spot. Great music, the owner is very nice and the burgers are huge and delicious! I used to go to the previous location, but now this place is 5 minutes away. Everything is prepared right when you order it and ingredients are high quality. Feels like the kind of smaller spot that puts love into everything they do. If you haven’t been, go now!

A great small place to pop into! The guy is very friendly and makes the food fresh for you. Fun little atmosphere. I got the cowboy burger and my friend got the ACBC chicken sandwich. Both were good and you got a lot of food for your money. The chicken was massive! Almost 3 layers. Pop in if you’re in the area. I guess the best parking is on the street.

Absolutely delicious burgers and crispy fries. Rockin sauce is really amazing, one of a kind flavor! This is a cool hangout spot that’s also BYOB. Very friendly service and can’t beat the prices. We ordered the Yolk-O and Daisy burger combos. Yolk-O had fries in the burger with a perfect sunny side up egg and bacon. Daisy was loaded with flavor topped with avocado and bacon!

I have to say, I was so very excited to try these famous burgers. I feel like reading the Unilocal reviews hyped me up to be eating the best burger i’ve ever had in my life. Unfortunately I was left a little disappointed. I ordered the Red Hot Chili Pepper Burger and it was good but not amazing, a tad salty. Also not a fan of the fries. Overall just ok to me but i’m willing to give it another shot. Update to follow.

For a classic, all American burger this is basically as good as it gets. There are no fancy tricks or gimmicks here. Just a juicy burger, always cooked fresh to order topped with everything that makes this country great: onion rings, bacon, cheese, you name it. The toppings were all very fresh and there was definitely a good helping. When they say«topped with avocado» they don’t mean two slices like some restaurants, we are talking a at least half of an avocado. Don’t let the size or location fool you, this place knows how to make a delicious burger. The owner is very friendly and was really invested in making our dining experience great. When I asked what the house special rockin sauce was(which is an absolutely delicious mayo based peppercorn sauce with just enough kick) he simply gave our table some fries and sauce so that we could all try. I thought this was a very nice touch. The twice fried fries were delicious and would compete with any I have had at the nicest places in NYC. Did I mention the décor? He really went all out in designing this place! It’s covered in rock and roll memorabilia: guitars, posters, concert tickets, etc. Also, what better way to down an American burger than with classic rock blasting in the background. The sound track was awesome. If I had to come up with a negative I guess it would be that the food is on the greasy side. And I’m not even sure this is a negative because it is no more greasy than any classic burger covered with bacon and cheese should be! If you are on a diet you may have some trouble. Make sure you hurry over to Rony’s Rockin’ Grill for a locally owned and awesome burger joint without the snooty NYC burger chain hullabaloo.

This place is totally amazing! The atmosphere is chilled and comfortable, the music was great. The place is full of Rock photos which was pleasant to look at. The owner/chef was cheerful and welcoming. The food… the food was on fleeck!!! The burgers are delicious and come with fresh hand cut fries both were cooked… just right! I had the«Hendrix“which was loaded with mushrooms and onions, my girlfriend had the«Stevie» also a really good choice, she enjoyed it tremendously! The milk shakes were so think you will need a spoon to eat at first! Overall the experience was great and its a definate place to visit again and again and again.

The following phrase is a coveted phrase in my universe and not something I throw around: Rony’s Rockin Grill serves the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had. Anyone who knows me knows I take my burger game very seriously. I’m a burger connoisseur, also know as a Burgoisseur. I have a Unilocal list with my favorite burgers and I only put burgers on there that RESONATE with me. So I will now take a moment to but Rony’s Rockin Grill on the TOP of my list. Try the Yolk-O – an absurdly delicious burger masterfully topped with an egg, bacon, cheese and ketchup. The first bite is borderline bizarre because suddenly you’re in a food-warp and orbiting in a higher dimension than is known to man. I don’t care if you’re reading this at 10:48pm and live fifty-six minutes away. Get in your car, go there, and wait for them to open their doors. An amazing plus to the holy burgers is interacting with Rony, a super rad dude. I think I’m still floating in the sixth dimension and let me tell you – it’s full of stars(and cheeseburgers).

Ordered from here today along with about 6 other coworkers. First things first: they got the order correct with no problems or complaints from anyone everything came as we intended it to be, something you don’t always get when ordering with a large group. The burgers were huge and flavorful even the veggie burgers are a great size and stacked with toppings. The menu says that their burgers are made up of a combination of brisket, chuck steak, and porter house tips and are made fresh to order NEVER frozen. They also advertise that their sauces are for the majority home-made. The sweet potato fries are a must have! I ordered The Who burger which is a 8 oz burger with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, & buffalo ranch sauce and I ordered it as a combo for only $ 8.75. If you want sweet potato fries its $ 2.00 extra but so worth it. Next time I would really like to try one of their root beer floats or a milk shake. They have a lot of veggie and turkey burger options one of which my coworker ordered today. He tried the Green Day burger that comes with A huge Veggie Burger with baby spinach, cucumber, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, avocado & Italian dressing. The burger itself was HUGE just like the others but with a little more height. He seemed to really enjoy it. I really enjoy that he names all of his menu items after rock bands such as The Who burger I got, the Hendrix, Yolk-o, and so on. Clever concept.

Came in for lunch and ordered a Yolk-O, subbed fries in burger for onion rings at no extra charge. The décor is pretty cool, but it could use a bit of work. The space doesn’t really go well with the rock memorabilia on the walls. Maybe make it more like a 1950s diner? Anyway, the Yolk-O was solid. Not an amazing burger, but not a bad one either. Rony flattens the patties on the grill, similar to Smashburger and Shake Shack. Fries were fresh cut, reminded me very much of the fries from Five Guys. And I don’t think $ 9.50 for a burger, fries, and drink is bad at all. Rony was a nice guy, but his staff could use a bit more training. She asked Rony many questions, like how to split the bill on 2 credit cards and whether or not we could make substitutions on our order. While I’d normally would ignore a bit of ignorance, her attitude wasn’t very pleasant. Rony checked on us more than she did. But the food is pretty good, so I wouldn’t mind returning.
