Papa Murphy’s Take ‘n Bake Pizza

I have say that NWA has nothing in the way of pizza that comes even slightly close to east coast pizza. Papa Murphys is the best I’ve found in the area. I’ve lived here for almost ten years and I sure do miss a really great pizza. In the meantime this is the best you’re gonna do…

Extremely poor management. Made 7 attempts to contact over several days about inferior product and a problem employee, and no return call was ever made. Much better to drive to Rogers (further away) for better service from friendlier staff.

With the very limited selection of good pizza places in Benton County, this become the go-​to for pizza at home. Ok, no delivery, but a far better pizza than any place that does delivery, so it’s worth the quick trip.
For typically $ 9 – 12, you can get a fantastic, perfect hand-​tossed type of crust with super fresh ingredients on top. I typically get the ‘Cowboy’ — Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Black Olives and Herb & Cheese Blend with pizza sauce and mozzarella. They’ll make any combo you like, with all the typical ingredients (except for green olives. Not sure why.) They also have the ‘De-​lite’ pizzas which are the super thin crust and have 40% fewer calories and 30% less fat due to a cracker-​thin crust. I like both chicken options and the veggie option on these. Bonus for we weird anchovy lovers — if ordered as a topping, they include a little can of ‘em so you can add them yourself at the end and not gross out your buddies.
I’ve got cooking these down to a science — first 10 minutes on the tray, then a few more minutes sitting directly on the rack to crisp up the crust. Perfect! Give it a try.

This was a good concept. Fresh ingredients on fresh made dough, then you take the pizza home to bake it. How many times have you had pizza delivered and its luke warm? I love the stringy melty cheesiness of pizza so baking myself is nice. You don’t even dirty a pizza pan because you bake it on the container they provide. Another great thing with this location is you can order your pizza, walk next door to Movie Gallery to pick out a flick then return to grab your pizza and head home for a nice evening. The pizza is really good and takes less time to bake yourself than you would wait on delivery.
