Gusano’s Pizzeria

I was in Rogers, AR for business and checked out all the pizza places on Unilocal.Gusano’s seemed to have the best crust type for my taste. I ordered the Moosehead on traditional crust to be picked up. They took my order quickly and told me it would be 25 – 30 minutes in Saturday night at 6:00 pm.
I drove over in 15 minutes and it was ready. They gave me tons of cheese and peppers to go along with it. I was really intrigued by the jalapeño toppings as I was in the mood for something hot. It was delicious. I ordered a small and it was just a little more than I should have eaten but it was too good to stop. The crust was perfect, very nice amount of toppings, and the jalapeños were superb. I will definitely go back. My compliment S to the pizza chefs!

Stopped by to have a quick lunch with the fiancée. They were super slammed and have very large parties there. We ordered the lunch special: mini pizza, salad and a drink. To my surprise they were FAST! Waitress was very good and on top of things. Way to go!

We got the the dulex xl-​large with wings and cheese bread stixs. Very good but of course to much to eat lol. Services was very good and quick for a Friday night.

By far, the best pizza in town! We love both dining in and carrying out, but probably prefer dining out just a little more because of the buzzing atmosphere, friendly wait staff, TV’s everywhere and family friendly on top of all that. Chicago style or traditional… You can’t go wrong. Make sure to start with the «breadsticks with cheese,» and just enjoy!

Love, love, love this place, but only one offers Ozark Cream Stout which is why I deducted a star. I’d love to have Chicago Style Pizza with an Cream Stout… but they saved themselves by offering the IPA.

Great pizza! My husband and I have been here a few times. The 1-​topping personal pizza is a perfect size and very tasty. My husband loves the chicken and spinach calzone. We also tried Chicago-​style pizza for the first time here and it was really good.

Owners threw a fit over a local comedy show and shut it down. Won’t be supprting them.

I was not disappointed with the pizza here! For $ 8, you get a personal pizza and I could only finish half of it during lunch.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good the pizza was here (of course you can’t beat NY thin crust, as well as Chicago’s deep dish), and I would definitely come back.

We stopped in here on our way home from a camping trip. Lots of parking in the huge lot for our truck and trailer.
Hostess seated us immediately (we went at around 1:30pm) and our server was attentive and friendly in that good not-​over-​the-​top way; just a nice, genuine way.
We ordered the Chicago style half hamburger and half mushrooms and olives. Husband loved the pizza; I did too, but it was a tad too cheesy for me. We really liked it, though, and will definitely be back, my in-​laws in tow. Am looking forward to trying the traditional style to see how it compares with the Chicago-​style here.
Bottled beer was inexpensive and cold, service was very good, next time will try a salad or appetizer, too!
Now that I’ve written my review, I’m going to warm up my leftovers for breakfast. :-)

I went here a few months ago and received some of the worst service of my life. Our waitress took 10 minutes to get our drink orders and 30 minutes to get our food orders. We never got refills while waiting on her. Our order took another 30 minutes because they forgot to cook one of our pizzas. We were promised a dessert to compensate for the experience but after another 20 minutes the dessert had still not come out. We decided to just pay and leave at that point without getting our dessert. The manger I dealt with was incompetent which made the situation only worse. I won’t ever being going back here.

Great food, griendly service and clean. I like that fact that it has a Chicago flare as I am a fan of the Bears. Best pizza joint in Bentonville

Very good pizza. I’ve had takeout and also met coworkers here after work. While I know they are known for Chicago style I actually like their thin crust. Margarita is my favorite.
Service is excellent, they even let me sit and work at a table while waiting for takeout. It does feel a bit pricy for pizza but generally provides quality food and a nice full bar as well. They also have a small outdoor seating area which is nice when it’s not too hot out. If looking for good pizza in the area it’s worth a shot.

Stopped in on Saturday afternoon, what a mistake. They must have sent our pie out, because it took over an hour to get our’s.
They weren’t busy at all.
The manager never came out to let us know what happened. The pie was good after it got to the table, it just took too long to get it. Will not go back.
Manager not coming out, sure makes the district manager look bad.

Great pizza, terrible service and management was nowhere. Used to love this place — no more.

Great place to watch the game enjoy great pizza and a cold beverage. We have always enjoyed awesome service here.

Came here Friday night for dinner with my family. Saw it on Unilocal and I was craving pizza so I came!
Wait:
We arrived around 5:30pm, so it was not too crowded. We were able to get seated pretty quickly.
Customer Service:
The hostess and our waiter were both friendly and helpful.
Food:
We ordered the Carnivore’s pizza and the Dan-​O-​Mite. The Carnivore is like the name — has cheese and a few choices of meat. My husband really liked it. I had the Dan-​O-​Mite which was feta cheese, mozzarella, spinach, onions, and green peppers (I had it without mushrooms). Mine was really yummy — I embarrassingly ate the entire pizza myself haha.
Entertainment:
This place seems to be a good place for entertainment as well. They have TV’s for sports, a game area with video games, and they have different entertainment schedules different nights. One night is trivia night — sounds fun! They have a 21 and over area and a nice bar area.
I’d come back here!

The pizza that we had was a nice Chicago style pizza with sausage and black olives. It was made great! It had heaps of sauce and toppings… they were not skimpy like usual places. We had gone here after visiting crystal bridges art museum, and we were very hungry… this restaurant definitely met out expectations and exceeded them.

I waited an hour for an italian combo sandwich (beef and sausage). I would rather go to jimmy johns if all i wanted was a little sub with mediore meat and a bag of chips. Paid nine bucks for that. Way overpriced for what i got. They cant find ABC on the tv. It was a bad experience.

Won’t be going to this Pizzeria after seeing that they fired a server for calling the police on one of the Patrons who was breastfeeding and consuming alcohol at the same time.
She did the right thing both legally and ethically by standing up for an innocent child and this business did the WRONG thing by letting her go.

Recently I’ve made this my go-​to for pizza when the spousal unit and I decide to get a pizza, watch some football and have some beers. We’ve been several times and have had some good experiences, and some not so good, so I’ll split the difference with 3 stars.
Always had the original crust pizza and it’s quite good. I’m hooked on the Moosehead, and although I don’t get the name, the combination of pepperoni, big hunks of Italian sausage, green olives and tons of jalapenos is just awesome. Every pizza we’ve tried has been good. and we’ve tried the ciabatta pizza bread and enjoyed it as well. Decent selection of beers and good prices and specials each day.
Now for the less than great — service has been very hit and miss. It is apparent that servers are totally left on their own, and so level of service is totally up to the individual waiter. I’ve never seen a manager on the floor or had anyone show interest in my experience. The last visit we had sat unacknowledged by servers for over 10 minutes with no menus while 2 hostesses chatted 10 feet away. On the other hand, the one time the waitress totally botched our order and brought my carnivore husband his half of the pizza as the «Herbivore» in error (no joke!), she was so apologetic, she turned in a separate small pizza of his choice and comp’d a couple of beers, so the error was quickly forgiven.
Some improvements in ambiance (being able to sit in a booth AND see a game) and a tighter hand on service would knock these guys up a few notches in my book.
