On our visit to the Red Mountains, we stopped at Frichette Winery based on recommendations from people in the area. We were not disappointed. We were hosted by Greg, owner/winemaker, and he was extremely pleasant, friendly and gracious host. He was happy to discuss the wines he was making, his plans for the future of the winery and anything else we threw his way. This is a ‘relatively newer’ winery in the Red Mountains sourcing fruit from around the Columbia Valley and the Red Mountain AVA. As they continue to develop their winery and work to establish their own vineyards, they are producing really well defined and structured wines. The winery has a modern, yet rustic feel(is that even possible?). Very open and inviting, with wine barrels throughout. We tasted about 6 different wines during the tasting. My favorite was the Malbec from Red Mountain fruit. I would highly recommend stopping in here as Greg is making really good wines. I am anxious to see how they progress and will be revisiting their wines each year!

Red Mountain has amazing wineries, period. Frichette is no exception. As a neighbor and local business owner, I often bring guests here to taste. The wines are fantastic and the Frichettes are such wonderful, gracious hosts. They offer several great classes and events, they are much more than a tasting room. We take our horse-drawn wagon up there and I just love to go trotting up their driveway, it’s so pretty.

One year old winery but obviously not novice wine makers. The wine maker has crafted really delicious and balanced wines that are still very adorable. They have a great story and the place itself is super well put together. Small case production of 650 but hopefully they will expand in the future. They are super smart with food pairings picking one of the hottest restaurants(ethos) to work with for their events. Delicious hummus too. Don’t miss this place. I called ahead for our family reunion group and the owner was super nice and accommodating. Family owned and run.

Joined their wine club because the wine here is so great. The winery itself is a nice facility with friendly owners. Looking forward to see this place do well.

What a great experience. Nice people, good wine and good price. We got to meet the owners and their little 1 ½ year old boy and taste wine and we felt like family.

Several of us went to one of(the first?) special event, «An Aphrodisiac Affair» dinner. It was delicious — food catered by Country Gentlemen, Frichette wine paired with each course. The ambiance was lovely, the welcoming(and trivia game) shared by Shae and Greg was lovely. We most definitely will go back to taste wine, and will be on the look out for their next event.

This is the most AMAZING winery !!! My favorite here at Frichette winery is the Merlot, Red Table wine and Semillon. The owners, Shae and Greg, are not only wonderful and beautiful spirits, but are very knowledgable of wine:) This has truly been the best experience ever!!! I can’t wait to come back!!! #Cheers
