Wing Zone

I have been here once and it’s the last time I go or order anything from here. The wings are super tiny the sauces are meh nothing special. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was the great customer service and the great deals/​specials.

So I’ve never been to this location but it’s amazing that they deliver. Typically quick and great service. Every time I order they try to give deals to save money which is nice.
Some of the names of wing flavors are hard to differentiate what they are. We had a buttery garlic that was delicious. In going to have to keep ordering to try more and more flavors.

Cannot say how good or bad the food is. I called for delivery to my hotel room and was told they are not delivering there tonite. They had too many deliveries already. It really must be nice to have so much business that they can refuse mine. I will be staying in the area for extended periods quite frequently, but I will not be eating here any time soon. Can just imagine how poor the service must be.

I go there once a week love the boneless wings with smokin Q flavor.
Lunch special has a good value, and service is super fast.

Came to taste the wings !!! I’ve heard a few good things about this place and had to come give it ALL a taste test. OMG!!! GREAT TASTE! GREAT SIZE not the little wings and oh the options! I felt like a kid in a candy store wanting it all!!! It’s a small place so be prepared to take it to go if there isn’t a place to sit or if you live in the area, take advantage and order in. Okay now for my taste test!!! Our family ordered each of every taste!!! The least favorite was the mango but all were a hit!!! Between the kids and adults we fought over the bliss or Thai chili. I tried to take a few pics of how great it all looked but everyone couldn’t wait to give their own take on the food. This is def our NEW go to wing place!!! Now I gotta add we also tried the corn bites and I’m hooked!!! You won’t go wrong trying this place, it’s sooooo worth it!!!

Called to place a order for delivery. The phone call was longer then I would of liked. I did get my wings in less the 30 minutes. After tasting the wing they are ok. I thought it was going to be spicy but it tasted very mild. They fries were soggy but it could be cause I got them delivered. I will try this place again to be fair.

When your nephews tell you they want Wing Zone for dinner… you go to Wing Zone!
(especially if your a COOL aunt like me.).
I’ve never stopped in here before and I rarely have a hankering for wings or chicken strips, but my nephews do — and they are Wing & Tender Connoisseur’s…If only they could write reviews…

I stopped over my sister’s to watch them right after they arrived home from school and seeing how there was no food in fridge to make a quick homemade meal & knowing from past experience my stud muffin’s are always starving when they get home — as soon as I asked «What do you guys’ have a taste for?» Within seconds, they responded «WING ZONE!».
So I dropped off one at the park district so he could work out for an hour and me and the little guy drove off to get some chicken… apparently, he’s quite a fan of their coleslaw too.
Because I know how PICKY he is, not to mention on the thinner side — I was ecstatic he had a HUGE appetite & was craving something…
Place is small with only a few tables and 2 flat screens to distract you while you wait for your food. We waited approximately 6 minutes since everything is made to order… this is great, so you know your chicken hasn’t been sitting under lights getting dried out & growing old from heat stroke…
I’d venture to guess they do more carry-​out & delivery here more than anything…
As I gave the friendly guy behind the counter our order, he mentioned I had JUST missed the lunch special! Go figure… They have daily lunch specials for $ 5.99 every day from 11−4pm. He even stated that if you CALL IN your order by 4pm — and pickup after, you can still get the deal! I appreciated that he shared this with me…
Boys’ wanted Chicken tenders — ordered a 3 piece + coleslaw $ 3.99 (xtra for slaw) &
4 piece Tender Box $ 7.99 (includes small side of coleslaw, wedge fries & texas toast). All orders include 1 sauce. They have 14 dipping sauce flavors — aka Flavor Zone… choose your level of heat from 1 – 4. Interesting selection of sauces & so many to choose from that you may want more than one.
Honey Q (sweet & smoky bbq), Liquid Gold (honey mustard) & Buffalo Bliss (like a traditional bbq with slight heat).
They forgot to include Texas Toast in order — but, there was more than enough food for them to eat, so I didn’t fuss about it, no big deal. Of course I had to taste the tenders along with a few wedge fries…
I have to admit I really liked the breading — VERY CRISPY. Chicken was coated in a flour dredge — not at all greasy or salty. Meaty sized portions. Flavor wise — they were OK to me. Fries were decent. My nephew gobbled up his coleslaw… I don’t eat slaw, so I can’t comment — but they included a hefty sized serving (not side) and he almost finished ALL OF IT.
Worker’s were really very friendly and food was hot and fresh. This is definitely a better alternative than your «drive-​thru». Tender’s are restaurant quality and beats any fast food chain.
NO…they did not remind me of Tyson’s frozen chicken strips (loaded with sodium) — and yes, I’ve had them before… honestly, if these were a frozen variety — the copious amount of salt would’ve been a dead giveaway…
Would I come back here again to satisfy my own craving? Probably not, BUT, if my nephews were doin the cravin — you bet I would… and…
if *they* were writing this review, Wing Zone would get 5 Stars! Because my nephews love this place, I’ll be generous too…

Occasionally my coworkers will order from here because it’s close. I finally ordered and was not impressed.
I went with the lunch special for 7 boneless wings and fries. I decided on the siracha-​cha sauce and it was meh. The sauce tastes more like sweet vinegar than hot. It was honestly pretty gross.
I probably won’t order from here again. None of the sauces sound that good to me.

They are ok. But wouldn’t go back. They look and taste like the wings were frozen. Fries are great.

Their wings are all freshly made with the sauce of your choice. Very worth the wait! Fried shrimp goes sooo awesomely well with Thai chili! It’s my all time favor!

I was there on opening day and ordered the boneless wings and fries. The boneless were really soggy. When the manager asked how I liked my food, I said it was just ok and that I like my boneless more crispy. He said that was because they had breading and that if I liked crispy I should get the wings because they are not breaded. That doesn’t even make sense to me! Isn’t the reason you bread and fry something is to make it crispy? I will not be returning.

The product is OK. It definitely has a flavor that yells ‘these were frozen”. Add that to the $ 6.50 for 5 pieces and its just not a good value. I can get a huge foot long sub 2 doors down for $ 6.5 and thats with fresh vegetables, refillable drink & chips.

I got the Buffalo Bliss wings. They had just the right amount of heat and flavor. Service was good. They were packed. Looks like they just opened. I still got my food fast. While I was waiting I was watching ESPN. They have a few TVs to pass the time. What must have been the owners were working the store and greeting everyone. I travel alot and love wings so I would certainly come back.
