A hidden gem. This is an Indian restaurant that takes a lot of pride and care in their food. Our host and server was charming and was an important part of our dining experience,(yet unobtrusive,) answering our questions and making suggestions based on our tastes and spice tolerances. Everything was full of flavor. The Garlic Naan was the right combination of soft and crispy — we had ours without butter. The Sheekh Kabab(4 soft sausages made from ground chicken) were savory and came with 3 delicious sauces in which to dip. We are lentil lovers and the Yellow Daal Tadka was awesome over rice, which comes with the meal. We also ordered Kadai Chicken(dark meat, spicy) and Chicken Curry(white meat, less spicy). All for 2 people, but we took home leftovers for lunch the next day. It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night, and the food came quickly. Reasonably priced. Lots of vegetarian options. Take out too. I’ll be back!

Ordered delivery, average time for delivery approx 1 hour. My husband had the chili chicken medium spice, I had the bbq platter with lamb chops, rice biriyini, chicken kabob, and bbq chicken. The chili chicken was really good although it was very spicy for it to be medium spice, the platter was ok. The rice was really nasty. It was old tasting, some were soggy and some were hard(if that makes any sense) and had no flavor, there were also chunks of bones. The lamb was good not very gamey, kabob was weird tasting I thought it was sausage at first but it was just some weird tasting meat that was supposed to be chicken? The bbq chicken was good flavorful and tender. Overrall 3 stars – maybe delivery and take out from this place wasn’t a great idea. I would like to think the food would’ve tasted a lot better had we ate in.

The food is excellent overall, & the spice level was good(we’d go hotter than medium next time, though). It is affordable. The service was quite friendly, BUT there was some disorganization and chaos when picking up the order, as well as some little misses that could have been hits. If a list wasn’t sent along for the pickup, it seems there’d have been no way the order would have been correct. Three diff. people were running back and forth to the kitchen, asking one question after another. * One of the staff was seriously disoriented — who knows why. * Staff eventually grabbed the list we’d made and used it to check the order and ring up the receipt?! * Told over the phone that 2 dishes came with rice. On arrival asked why no rice was ordered… ? * The chili garlic naan was almost missed. * The samosa chaat had no sev on it(it’s shown in the photos on Unilocal). * The vegetable samosas & chili pakora came without tamarind or green chutney. This is not customary, as far as I’ve ever seen at other Indian restaurants in the Philly area/burbs. * There’s no raita on the menu & we weren’t offered any. I imagine that the experience might be different(better?) when eating in.

There are several Indian restaurants in the Bensalem area. I have tried them all. The food at Mezbaan Grill is far superior in taste and presentation. The server was pleasant and helpful. The owner/manager(?) was most gracious in welcoming us and making us feel well taken care of. Our food was served hot and freshly prepared and the garlic naan was delicious. I came with a friend who had never tasted this type of cuisine. She was really concerned that it would be too spicy for her taste, especially since she is blind and cannot read a menu. The waiter was most helpful and steered her to a dish without heat. The funny thing was, although she said her dish was very good, she liked my spicier chili chicken even better than her mild lamb dish.(The Chili Chicken was excellent). Portions were generous giving me a good portion to take home. And when my husband tasted my leftovers he instantly decided he wants to try this place for himself. It was that good.

Seriously can’t get enough of this place! Love the food and the spice level is perfect. I ask for medium spice and it’s just the right spice for me. So flavorful too! Get the chili garlic naan too! Only down side is I’m not a huge fan of the rice, very dry, I usually make my own when I get take out. Staff is always super friendly too! They are more than accommodating, just ask!

It was our first experience and I came with my family to eat some Halal food. The owner was a friendly gentlemen who took the order, we ordered paneer tikka, butter chicken, kabob platter, cholay bhatoray, and reshmi. I honestly did not have one complain the prices were so reasonable and worth every penny. The food quality was outstanding and overall everything was perfect. Highly recommended and I definitely will be back when in the area.

I past by this place for months and never bothered to enter, first off the name makes you think it’s a BBQ place. I only learned they actually serve authentic Indian food due to a Unilocal search. If I had known a place that serves authentic, amazing Indian food was right around the corner from my home I would have been there. I was coming home from having a stressful procedure done at the hospital, I wanted my fav cuisine which is Indian food, so we tried this place for the first time. We had the lamb Vindaloo, butter chicken and the chili chicken as well as samosa chatt and shrimp tandoori. Let me say EVERYTHING was good, and I am not easy to please. I’m going to speak most about the amazing dishes, the standouts. The samosa chatt was AMAZING, the flavors developed as you ate it. It had a spicy back note, but nothing over powering, the fresh cilantro and tomato gave it such an amazing flavor. The yogurt gave it an acidic kick, there was so much layering of flavors that played off of each other. There was also this surprise crispy battered potato mixed in, and that was awesome. The seasonings in it had a depth I cannot explain, it was the best dish there. The lamb vindaloo was tender and extremely delicious, as well as the chili chicken, the favors in this dish changed as you ate it. It stared sweet and then I tasted the divine chili’s and the chicken was super tender. Sometimes restaurants over cook chicken, but not this place. The staff here work very hard to please you, the service is amazing. You can do the buffet, but why eat the basic menu items that have been sitting there when the fresh dishes on the menu are particularly amazing and are standouts you will not find at the buffet. I have tried Indian food at several places in the area, so far this place is the best. I have pics below.

After a stressful day full of doing taxes, I needed a fabulous lunch and decided to finally venture into Mezbaan. I didn’t know what to expect, the outside looks like a shady check cashing/bodega place, with fogged up windows and nothing really attracting you to come in. So upon walking in, I was SOIMPRESSED with how different it was! The décor was modern and clean and their grocery store is completely seperate on the other side of the building. The host/owner immediately greeted us with a warm smile urging us to come in. We glanced over the menu, but the luring buffet smells had already won us over. As we layered our plates in tofu, chicken, chick peas, the owner brought us a basket of fresh glistening naan to our table. Besides the delicious food, he(the owner) really made this meal special. He talked to us, introduced to the chef, gave us free dessert to try and even had his special chai tea made for the end of our meal. We pretty much rolled out of the restaurant after consuming our weight in food and tea. I really enjoyed every bite and not being too familiar with Indian or Pakistani food, I definitely preferred th buffet option. I can’t wait to come back and try some of the other delicious menu items, also a huge plus, they are open really late until 11 pm wkends and 10 pm wkdays.

Ask for their chicken chili dry and any kind of Lahori karahi, you would feel like being in the world of food porn. Their Channa daal gosht is amazingly delicious. A must try place for authentic Pakistani food.

The staff was very attentive and made dinner a friendly and personal experience. The food was excellent and came out quickly. They were able to cater to everyone’s spice level too which was important for us because my mother in law had never had Pakistani/Indian food before.

Tried several Indian restaurants in Bensalem and I like this one the best. The price is cheap, generous portion with great quality food. They even baked fresh naan for only $ 2-$ 3 for us. The service was wonderful as we got treated like family. I highly recommend this place for another who likes quality Indian food but don’t want to pay a lot.

Very friendly staff, liked all the food items we ordered. We liked Chicken kadai, paneer burji, tava roti, garlic naan and chicken tikka. Next time we will try some other items. Management has changed few times at this location but by far this the best one.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The location where Mezbaan BBQ Grill is located has changed hands several times over the last few years and has been different types of restaurants. Yesterday was the first time I had ventured in even though they had been open for 6 months now. All the staff was attentive and courteous. I ordered for take out and and opted to take up the gentleman behind the counter on some of his suggestions. Everything was delicious. The butter chicken, the kabobs and even the naan. The real treat however was the Paneer Bhurji. Creamy, subtle spices and not a trace of «sogginess» that is often seen in lesser preparations. They offer online ordering and accept Apple Pay(my kind of joint!). I’m definitely going back to try some more of the menu!

I come here for dinner almost weekly and I have to say, this place is on point. Pakistani food is pretty amazing and this is basically the best in the Philly area. The owners are so nice and always helpful. The restaurant is clean. More importantly, the food is SOGOOD. If there’s a soup available that day, have the soup. You won’t be disappointed. They make a special soup on the weekends w/goat ankle that is spicy and perfect and will warm you up big time. Their chole poori and chole batura is my go to. Hot fried bread, warm spicy chickpeas, green mango pickle, yogurt, and halwa: YUM! Their chicken saag is also really good, better than other places. Their baingan bharta is nice and spicy and perfect w/their garlic naan. I mean, I haven’t had anything less than delicious there, so it’s hard to go wrong. Come and eat, you’ll be happy you did!

I don’t come to Indian restaurants too frequently since I eat a lot of Indian at home… Came to the restaurant after seeing it transform from several different restaurants… ordered the lamb gyro and lamb biryani… was pleasantly surprised at the warm friendly service and fastness of the food! The gyro was quite tasty and the lamb biryani was a tremendous portion with flavor! Would def come back again

I was impressed the first time I walked into this place. The owner and staff are wonderful. They are very friendly and enthusiastic about their restaurant. This passion is clearly evident when you taste the food. I’ve had a few of the different Naan offerings and each one was spectacular. The stand out dish for me is the Chicken Jal-Frezi — Boneless chicken cooked in spicy sauce with onions, green peppers and tomatoes. This is fantastic. Kick the heat up a few notches if that’s your thing and you will not be disappointed.

Tried their lunch buffet. Limited options but still a good selection. Naan is included in buffet and is made to order. It came out fresh, hot and crispy. More to come later…
