My first time eating here I wanted a cheese enchilada. It was honestly irritating when I asked what kind of enchilada sauce they use, the cashier didn’t know what kind or what I was even asking /: I repeated myself twice that I only wanted cheese and ended up with chicken. I didn’t get to enjoy my meal at the same time with my date. I gave it another shot and got chips with my tortilla soup and the chip were very stale. I will not be returning sadly.

I have driven by Longboard Louie’s for a long time on my way to 10 Barrel. A snowy evening and a packed 10 Barrel caused me to get a growler and try this place with a to-go order. I now know why I have avoided it. The Burrito was big but literally had no flavor at all. Chicken was clearly not seasoned at all. Had to slather their salsa to give it any flavor. 1st and last time, no wonder there was not a soul in the restaurant when I got there.

This place is an institution, a Bend classic. It’s a sweet little, Baja-inspired taco«shack.» Breakfast burritos are awesome with free coffee. Fish tacos(fried cod or grilled halibut) are fantastic. The San Lucas– a chili relleno burrito with steak is also a staple.

I’ve been going to Longboard Louie’s for years and used to have a good friend that worked there back in the day(Brittney). I was a big fan but times have changed. The food is still ok, but the service su-su-su-suuuuucks nowadays. Not being a fan of onions, I recently asked for«no onions» on my lunch order. They made the wrong kind of enchiladas and also included onions, so I asked them to remake it and clarified«please…no onions this time». Round two came with onions again. I rolled with it as was but said«seriously, how hard is it to just leave the onions off?» That invoked rather something of a sh*tstorm. Not only did the order taker give me a hard time, but the cook took the special effort to stomp outside and bitch me out, slapping the menu down on my table and saying«LOOK, ITSAYSCILANTRO, NOTONIONS, LEARNTHEDIFFERENCE». Trouble was, the enchiladas on the menu specifically say they come with cilantro and onions. Both words. So to top it off, she was simply mistaken. Screw this place and that crappy attitude, there are way better options within throwing distance.

Place looks great! Food is awesome! Ask for the number zero breakfast burrito. Not on the menu, you must be in the know;) Also love the corn salsa!

Awesome food! Wait not too long! A great place to hit after a day on the mountain! Had the low carb bowl, halibut fish tacos– both delish! Price is super reasonable and the menu has a lot of voices. Place is trendy, clean and friendly. A definite must stop if you visit Bend!

Food is not great. They try to cater to college kids with a college deal but I don’t even think they do that anymore. Go somewhere else.

I love there newer location. It’s easy to stop and grab a bite when I am out shopping. The food is fantastic, customer service is so so. but there are so many options, you can find something for everyone in your group. I have never had a bad meal here yet.

In Español, no. This place is terrible, I don’t understand why there are always people on the patio. There are so many better options within waking distance.

Ordered from here through . I got the hollenbeck burrito. Definitely worth the money. I ordered it with the shredded pork, it was moist, tender and had wonderful flavor. The burrito was massive. Easily made two meals. Came with sour cream and guac, which is always a bonus when you don’t have to order it extra on the side. With the addition of mass amounts of salsa Verde on top of the enchilada sauce(self admitted sauce fanatic) it was so good and had so much flavor. Easily the best burrito I’ve had since moving to central Oregon. This rating is solely based on the food! I’ve never stepped foot inside the actual establishment. If you’re looking for a delicious bang for your buck and wanting a good burrito this is the place to check out.

The service is absolutely horrible. They are extremely slow, rude and very unfriendly. Whenever I call ahead and order take out like 20 mins ahead, I go in and it isn’t busy whatsoever to find they haven’t even started making my order. So I wait another 20 mins. It’s always filthy dirty/messy in there and in the outside eating area. Bird poop, dirt, dog hair, tons of insects, leaves and trash is to be expected every time. The food is decent. Fair quality and quantity for the price you pay. They have a little salsa bar which is decent. Overall, this place really isn’t anything special at all though.

Amazing food! Awesome experience except the blonde who works the counter has terrible customer service. I asked a question and she wordlessly pointed at the menu to answer me. She was very blunt and seems bored. Other than that I love Longboard Louies!

Terrible. Tables had bird poop on them, music was so loud we could not hear each other, and my enchiladas were not good. The rice and beans were dry and old and the sauce was basically tomato paste. My husband and friend liked their burritos. Don’t bother with all the great places to eat here.

This is the most affordable yet edible mexican in Bend. The halibut tacos with pumpkin seed sauce are very good as are the tostadas. The beer is reasonable though bottle and they havre DEADGUY! One reason we don’t come very often is that they play very loud and obnoxious music. It might be crazy techno, it might be butt rock, but it is loud and it is annoying!!!

Ate at Longboard’s the other night for dinner, and I felt sick for 2 days. The burrito sat in my stomach, and I felt like I was going to die. And it didn’t taste good either. Will not be eating here again.

This is a great spot to grab a quick bite to eat. Portions are large! Not the most amazing Mexican food ever but healthy enough that I didn’t go into a food coma afterwards. The low-carb bowls are a great option for people who are paleo– shredded chicken was tasty and surrounded by yummy veggies and salsa, and tempeh low-carb bowl was also good. Lemon-ginger kombucha was pretty good. Only pet peeve was that guacamole was a little fake looking– probably not made fresh– but for the price and the speed of service I didn’t really expect to get fresh guacamole anyways.

I love their fish burrito and fish tacos. Their portions are too big though, I always ask them to cut back on rice and beans in their burritos. It would be nice to see a wahine size on the menu, for those of us who turn their burritos into two full meals. Food is great, the staff is great, and the patio is awesome.

stopped in for a quick snack… mid day… service was blahhhhh and for $ 4 a quesadilla was a tortilla with a small amount of cheese… looked like a non Mexican snack a 5 year old kid makes in cooking class. not impressed. too bad… like the location and the PBR here after a ride

I’ve given the Eastside location a try three times now, always expecting it to be better because it seems with the fresh ingredients and extensive salsa bar, it really should be good. I’m a big burrito person and I’ve tried their breakfast burrito, veggie burrito and steak burrito. Each time I’ve come away thinking«why did I go there again?» Just very, very average. Edible, yes, but then again I’ll eat pretty much anything. The salsa even seemed like it was lacking something. Everything has just tasted kinda bland. Maybe I’m used to greasier burritos and that’s where this review is coming from, but something was missing. For this price range I’d rather go to Super Burrito, Taco Del Mar, do I dare even say Rigobertos?(really good at 2 am but that’s about it). The inside was clean and comfortable, and the portions are large, but big size can’t make up for big taste.
