Delicious! The patron-patron margarita is a must, and you cannot beat the table side guacamole! The waitstaff is very friendly and has a true passion for service and making people smile!

Another great evening here. Excited for the Sunriver location to open up. Service excellent– perhaps the owner? manager? Either way, friendly, took time to explain a couple dishes to us. Ordered the guacamole this time. Made at table side and really good. Two standard salsas they serve with their chips is anything but standard.

Nice little Monday got ecxponentially better. QUICK! Strolling through downtown Bend, OR is always a delight. There I was, parusing down Bond St. looking for a quick bite, or maybe even a whole meal of food. I stumbled upon Hola. Music was choice, food was choice, and so was the service. Alvaro held it down behind the bar and gave great reccomendations on both food and drink. Couldn’t be happier about the experience. Will definitely return in the future.

Freakin delicious! Baja burrito with chicken — but I ask had them put the green chili on top — the kind they serve with chips. Amazing! Super nice service. Smaller place than I expected but I actually liked the feel of it a lot. Awesome spot downtown with REALLY good food.

If I could give this specific Hola! zero stars, that would still be too many. We walked in and waited for a waitstaff to greet us. It didnt happen. Three of them walked by us and another group repeatedly for 10 minutes. The other group finally left. Then another large group walked in right as a big table cleared and they immediately sat down. Finally after stopping two of the waitresses to see how long of a wait, and informing her we had been waiting with and that group sat down without waiting. She said, sorry… about 15 minutes. 20 minutes later another small group got sat and we still stood there. All the while, several groups walked in and right back out without ONE single greeting or acknowledgement from the waitresses. The only greeting anyone got was from the bar tender. I stopped a waitress again to see if she had us on a list and she said no, I you didnt ask to be put on one. I informed her we couldnt have if we tried because not one of you made eye contact, greeted anyone or even tried to organize the people walking in and out. She got pissed off at me and yelled at us right in front of everyone saying«Im trying!» If she had actually been trying, I would have graciously waited for a tablee. None of the three waitresses were worth a shit last night and it was a basic Wednesday night. I would NOT recommend this specific Hola! ever. The Hola! in the Old Mill is wonderful and the staff are on top of things and greet you when you walk in. Dont waste your time at the downtown Hola!, the bitchy waitresses dont have time for you…

Hey everyone trying to eat at The Hola! Sunriver location they are CLOSED for the winter season. Not sure where the mishap accrued but they set up a forwarding phone number to their restaurant and I’ve now been receiving about 40+ phone calls a day to my personal cell phone with people trying to make reservations. The number you read on the Google link isn’t my cell phone number but it connects to my phone when the links are used. Please let it be known that they are CLOSED, again for the winter season. I’ve spoken with a manager at a different Hola! Location in Bend who was very helpful and is trying to work on this problem but it still isn’t fixed and my phone is blowing up all day. Soooooo please let it be known they are closed and please stop trying to call them. Thank you!

Love this place! Great vibe and music. There can be a bit of a wait time so plan accordingly. You HAVE to order the Table side guacamole. Delicious. The food is great. I love the salsas they serve. The margaritas and mojitos are delicious. Personally, I wouldn’t take children here. More because it’s a small«club-like» space with loud music(I like it) and it’s just more adult oriented.(Teens would love it.)

Delicious. Had the seco de pollo which is a traditional Peruvian stew, and it was the best meal I’ve had in a long time… The sauce was perfectly lime-y without being too citrusy, chicken was tender and perfect. The simple rice side dish complemented it well. Service was prompt and respectful and I got way more margarita than I expected, always a plus. Fresh chips n delish salsa with an amazing cilantro blended sauce came before the meal… Tastes so fresh., would def eat here again!

Great atmosphere and really good food, try something new from Brazil! I really enjoyed this place, and the beer was great also… Seating outside during the summer is a blast to people watch from.

Chips are sweet on flavor and the sauses are unique. Main course included quertetanas with shredded chicken — excellent.

Disappointed by Hola. The waiter was great! The food was mostly underwhelming. Hola does get the chips and salsa right! Yum. The rocks marguerites are good, with a fun spicy salt on the rim. The main courses are small portions(bunches of rice does not make equal a large portion) and really not that special given the price. My kids ordered virgin mango marguerites. Yuck! The kids could not finish them — dislike the sugar! They tasted like fish oil, which we suspect was imparted by un-ripe mangoes(hopefully not fish oil). My advice, go to the bar and order chips and guacamole(also good) and drinks. Do not order dinner.

One of our first places to eat when we moved to Bend. Delicious Mexican food. The rice is different than your regular Mexican rice. The halibut tacos are my new favorite.

I’m giving this place 5 stars because the Service and the Margaritas were perfection! She’ll(curly blonde with a winning smile) hate me, so forgive me in advance for forgetting your name! At any rate, she was a star. We sat outside with our dog, sipping on margaritas and had the wonderful opportunity to meet this young lady who served us. She was awesome! SO friendly and kind, and just made us feel at home. She’s clearly a dog lover and truly spoiled our beloved 4 legged friend. We had a small incident outside, but she handled it professionally and was very supportive. Actually, the restaurant team was awesome! It’s because of her warmth and awesome service, we will go back and will absolutely recommend Hola! If you’re(curly blond e with the winning smile) reading this, «Thank You!» for everything! Oh yeah, the Margaritas AREONPOINT!!! Delicious!

Nice place to sit for an hour and great, attentive service. The Margarita was actually worth $ 12, which is rare. Although I’m appreciative of free chips and salsa to start things off, the salsas were watery and extremely underwhelming. The food was just ok, I ate it all but certainly not because I was super impressed, just hungry. But I can handle just ok food, what was more difficult to handle was watching a very obviously drunk guy at the bar continue to be served! He was loud, sometimes shouting at the bartenders, sometimes just talking to himself. I watched him absentmindedly dribble his beverage out of his mouth and onto his shirt. It seemed very clear that he didn’t need any more to drink, yet the bartenders kept serving him, which is sad.

Went to Hola with my best friend today to celebrate her homecoming. They start you off with tortilla chips and kettle cooked chips all mixed together! Sooooo yummy. I don’t like guac, but my friend liked it. I thought the salsa was pretty good. A little runny though. But good nonetheless! We ordered the Strawberry and Jamaica drinks.(Non alcoholic) I got the Rojas, cheese quesadillas with rice and beans. Their rice is certainly different, extremely fluffy but good. Had carrots, tomatoes, and peas in it. Didn’t taste very Mexican to me, more Indian. I’d give food a 4, but the service was VERY accommodating and helpful. 5⁄5 on service for sure. We will be back.

Went to Hola downtown last night. It had been a while since I came to this one. Our waiter was so awesome! He was attentive and did a great job. Also our drinks this time were so good! I had the guacamole fresco and it was great. A way better experience than in the past. Will definitely be returning here again!

Hola Downtown! — Too Spicy Our first time at the downtown location. Cute location right downtown, small venue with 10 tables or so. We experienced great service, professional, prompt, friendly. The meals looked delicious, but the peruvian options were overly spicy. My husband’s bacon wrapped shrimp covered in chipotle sauce was inedible it was so spicy. My girlfriends ribs, even with the sauce on the side was described as very spicy. I had the traditional enchiladas, and tuna appetizer and they were delicious and not spice at all.

Love it! Some of the best Margaritas & Staff in town. David, Fabio, & Marcos are great at what they do. Definitely stop in for some food & drinks. Great atmosphere, music, ect. for such a small venue. Keep up the good work amigo’s.

Dear Unilocal reviewers, You have failed me. I turned to you for advice. I wanted to know where I should get tasty Mexican food in Bend, OR. You directed me to Hola! I left Hola! $ 50 lesser and dissatisfied with a meal I think Taco Bell would have executed better(Like Ron T. said. Ron T., you did not fail me.) Sure, guys, the margaritas are huge. They’re also not that great. If you want quantity over quality, then the margs are definitely a good choice. But who wants that? College frat boys, and any other soul whose end game is simply intoxication, I suppose. The food was really bad. I was starving from a very lengthy hike, so I would have consumed anything. But bite after bite, I could not help but think the enchiladas were reminiscent of something my middle school cafeteria would have served. The ingredients were of terrible quality, and it was very evident by taste. Blah. Bland. Blehk. Bore. I’m pretty sure the most advanced culinary technique implemented is the use of the defrost button on a microwave. Of course, the most offensive part of this whole experience was the price. $ 50! For two meals and two drinks: both subpar. Both very subpar. I groan as I write this letter to you, Unilocal reviewers. I trusted you. I still love you all anyway, Jess P.
