Bend Wedding & Formal Wear

The day I found my wedding dress was perfect and everything I imagined and hoped for. They have nice, friendly, funny and very polite staff. My dress had been discounted and the pricing included alterations which I was very pleased about. My fittings were excellent and they where so helpful in getting it to me fast. Also rented my fathers tux as well as the groom’s men’s from here. Very reasonable pricing and lots to choose from. Over all great experience at Bend Wedding And Formal and stress free. I was a happy bride!

I have never had a good experience there. The first time I went in was for prom, briefly, and they were extremely rude to my prom date who wanted to get a tux for an affordable price. It embarrassed him, and me, with their behavior. I recently went in, thinking it would probably be different 5 years later, looking for a simple sash for my wedding gown. The woman in fromt (the manager, I believe) SCREAMED from the front several times for this poor girl doing alterations in the back to come up and show me the sashes, instead of getting up herself and helping me. She then kept interrupting the girl helping me with «suggestions» and never once got up. She also told me I «should have brought my gown in» to match the white, when I was looking for a simple satin ribbon. I was extremely displeased, and won’t be back or recommend it to anyone else getting married that I know. The girl, however, was very nice, and I felt bad for her. Hopefully she finds a better place to work soon.

I want to take this opportunity to express my extreme displeasure about my recent tux rental for the Saunders/​Hunt wedding on 6÷23÷13. As the step-​father of the groom I experienced a very embarrassing moment when the photographer pointed out to me on my first photo shoot about the bright red stitch work to the crotch of my pants. Naturally I was appalled and beat a hasty retreat to the men’s room where I was able to apply some black sharpie to somewhat mask this horrendous wardrobe malfunction. My photo shots had to be delayed about 15 minutes for the repair, but this paled in comparison to the utter embarrassment this caused me in front of the entire wedding party. How could this happen, and been completely undetected by your staff? This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. If I was not leaving town immediately after the wedding I would have confronted your staff in person. Needless to say I would never recommend this facility to anyone in the Bend area and furthermore I feel I should be duly compensated for my trouble. One unhappy customer!!!
This was emailed to them with no response. Phone call made, apologies given stating that owner was not there. I asked her to please have the owner read her email and to respond. Still nothing, we felt at least half of our money should be refunded, since ‘half’ of the tux was totally unacceptable. People, There has to be another tux rental for your wedding/​formal function!

Incompetent sales representatives and rude store manager. I regret getting my bridesmaid’s dresses at Bend Wedding and Formalwear.
