This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I eat here every time I’m doing business in the Bemidji area. The ownership is hard-working and has a lot to be proud of. having had my own restaurant for 20 years I will say that to Tutto Bene really is a world-class restaurant. the chef has an incredible hand with food. And this restaurant would be a winner in any city of the world keep up the great work can’t wait to eat with you again and I just left fantastic dinner is always. Also not to be forgotten great staff great service!

If you want your socks blown off by an amazing dining experience please come. From beginning to end the food was sublime and perfectly prepared. From the delightful Amuse-bouche to the risotto was an excellent four experience. Simple food prepared perfectly is very hard to do but the team here nails it. Just amazing that the quality of food and the depth of understanding in food preparation is superior. Thanks for an amazing dinner!

Grilled Caesar salad & Snow crab ravioli were both awesome. Great wine selection & cozy atmosphere made this a great place to enjoy a nice dinner!

But first a bit about Bemidji. This town is on a roll. It has a new convention center with three new much needed higher end motels wrapping around the lower end of the lake. Not one, but two competing farmer’s markets. Paul and Babe are getting a makeover with a new parking area and park. And then there is Tutto Bene… We had dinner here while spending the night in Bemidji on a trip further up north. This would be a first class restaurant in NY or SF. It was so good we had lunch a few weeks later. We started with the mussels; not a total surprise as good mussels are not rare anymore in the Midwest. But for dinner it was followed with a squid ink pasta for me and snow crab ravioli for my wife – not your usual MN small town menu items. On the lunch return we walked in to the most beautiful basket of locally grown fresh tomatoes I have ever seen sitting on the counter. Lunch did not disappoint. Again we did mussels, this time I did the snow crab ravioli and beet salad with salmon for her. The staff was excellent. The patrons were a healthy mix of locals, city folks and tourists from as far away as the East Coast and nearby, but also very sophisticated Winnipeg visitors. Every table seemed to be really enjoying their meals. Almost worth the trip from Minneapolis just to eat here.

Our last visit here was really subpar. The host was rude but our server was really nice. The food, unfortunately was awful. There was no salt/pepper on the table. My Alfredo was cold out of the kitchen. We will probably not be back anytime soon.

Hard to believe a restaurant this food is in little bemidji MN. All of our food was fabulous. It was very creative is the way it was put together.

In town for two weeks for business and saw here on Unilocal that this restaurant came highly recommended, so took a shot and paid a visit for dinner. It is very nicely decorated and had a refined but friendly atmosphere that I quiet enjoyed. I had to have the green olive soup and it did live up to the hype. My entre was Rigatoni alla Calabrese Ragu, which is a pasta with pulled pork and I have to say, it was delicious. I am from Texas and our pulled pork usually ends up between two buns but this was a finely crafted dish and I enjoyed it immensely. The staff were professional and very attentive. Price wise, it is up there in the $ 18 – 35 range, but if the experience is worth it then by all means I have no issue with it. Tuto Bene was well worth it and I will be visiting again a few times before my trip is over.

I came here for dinner with my husband and infant. Although it’s a more formal place, the staff was really friendly about having a baby there and we didn’t feel awkward. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was delicious and we will definitely come back to try more. I tried the infamous olive soup and it was quite tasty. The snow crab ravioli was absolutely fantastic. Can’t wait to try this place again! Definitely a great date or anniversary setting.

I love this place. Amazing food, attentive and friendly staff, constantly revolving menu and specials. From apps to dessert always happy. Thank you for existing in this small town.

Nice place, nice atmosphere, lovely menu. I had the rabbit gnocchi, which was light and fresh like a primavera. The beet salad was amazing with thick slices of house cured salmon. Good salt on everything.

Dropped in for lunch had the Wild snow crab ravioli. It was surprisingly good. Wish I lived closer it would be my new favorite Italian restaurant. The tiramisu was good as well with real Italian coffee.

SOLIDITALIANFOODIN A SMALLTOWN! Hands down, the food is good. However, this is the type of place that closes when they feel like the night is over. That makes it unreliable when planning a night(if you’re people that like to eat late like my husband and I). We have arrived at Tuto Bene three times within an hour of closing. One time, I actually called them and told them we were ten minutes away and if we came now would they still serve us. They said yes. Ten minutes later we show up and they’re all of a sudden closed and not serving anymore people. So now we just go in the middle of the day for lunch, as to avoid a hassle. If I had to give the food a start rating, I’d give 4 stars. But the unreliability of the hours makes me give them 3 stars. Still, definitely try their food if you are in Bemidji.

We need this restaurant in the Twin Cities. Relatively unassuming space but great food and service. We liked everything. Very nice glass of rose. Surprisingly lovely pizza – light and very tasty. My husband had the pork belly sandwich which he was reluctant to share and I loved the lamb sugo. The quality showed with small extras — pickled veggies with the sandwich for example. Very flavorful dessert – strawberry-rhubarb cobbler with excellent ice cream. Very good coffee. Service showed good front of the house training. Wish I had taken photos.

Walked in just before 5 and a cute friendly knowledgable lady walked by and said hello as she carried a bucket of ice. Sat me at the bar turns out they were just opening for dinner :)… She recommended a fantastic app prawns … Yumm next she brought out a paddle that included picketed rhubarb so yummy! The shrimp dishes were fabulous. They know what they are doing here if I were to ding them at all it would be that for the location they are expensive and the welcome area leaves something to be desired but the staff and the food are great

I live in the Bay Area, and the food out here is pretty great, but WOW. I had two of the best meals in my life at this place, two nights in a row. Both nights I had the green olive soup, which is just killer. Main course was the cavatelli with chicken ragu(night 1) and, oh my lord, the squid ink risotto with shrimp and sausage(night 2). Every single bite of everything I ate was perfect. This is just a wonderful little restaurant. Both the food and the service were memorable and inspiring. I’ll be back.
