Ark Row Center For Enrichment

What a wonderful experience! My two-​year-​old daughter has been going to Ark Row since we moved to Tiburon in October 2015. The setting is sweet, safe, and beautiful, and the ladies who run it are just as lovely. Ana Camila is incredibly helpful, supportive, and patient as is Tatiana who works alongside her. The transition from ownership months ago was seamless, and my daughter absolutely loves going there. Their art projects they come up with each day are adorable and the overall environment has really helped my daughter thrive. Their flexibility with hours was an absolute godsend too.
We recently moved out of the area, and are incredibly sad to be leaving Ark Row, (we seriously considered doing the half hour commute to keep our daughter going) but I couldn’t leave without sharing my wonderful experience.

Love this center. My daughter takes the totally Toddler Class once a week and has a blast! Robin who runs the center is very sweet and attentive. My daughter felt immediately comfortable with her and has so much fun playing with other children her age in a safe & wonderfully supervised environment. I would recommend this to any mom in Tiburon looking for a spot for their toddlers to have a ball :)

I am a big fan of Robin who runs Ark Row. This is a sweet neighborhood place where your child gets plenty of personal attention, and you can trust that they will come home happy and stimulated.

Ark Row Kids is a Tiburon gem. Robin and her staff are absolutely fabulous. From the toddler drop off program to the birthday parties, I can’t recommend them enough. Love supporting the local business too.

I find the name ironic to say the least. My wife and I attended a 1 hour art/​craft session for 1 – 2 year olds with my 19 month old twins.
When we checked in our names were not on the sign in sheet. They had printed this list the day before and seemed to blame us for the confusion since we had logged in to their web site to sign up and pay the day of the event. We made our way in to the building and was surprised to see that the door was left open to the street with no gate to prevent children from running into oncoming traffic.
Our twins lost interest in the project (no surprise) and I proceeded to entertain them while my wife finished up decorating the little pottery hand print impressions. Unfortunately the staff did not want my twins to use any of the toys that were placed around the main room and the staff seemed annoyed that my boy was picking up any of the sponges, brushes and other materials around the room. In fact they immediately took them away as soon as he picked anything up.
In the adjoining play room there were a number of toys sitting around and I was relieved to know that they could entertain themselves for a few minutes in this space while my wife finished up. However they told me I needed to take my children out of this room because they could not play there. At this point I loaded up my twins in the stroller and left my wife behind since the children were clearly not welcome in their space.
Furthermore, the staff said in an (incredibly sarcastic tone), «they certainly are curious» on more than one occasion. The last time I checked it’s normal behavior for a 19 month old to be curious.
The staff seemed to have very little understanding or appreciation of child behavior and was in no way accommodating during our entire visit. I will not be back and would not recommend this place to any other parent.

Pretty expensive pottery session. I was rather disappointed. It cost, what like $ 50? We were promised hors d’oeuvres, wine, and pots. The bragged about «hors-d’oeuvres» consisted of an empty bowl of chips, a cut up pita bread, and an empty pot of hummus.
There were no spinning wheels, not enough chairs for everyone, tiny tables, a few balls of clay, and little «equipment» to work with. By the end of the 2 hours, the employees were trying to shoo people out by reminding them several times that 15 minutes were left, or 10, or 5.
The place itself is puny, and I will not be returning. The highlight of my night was getting pizza afterwards at Waypoint!

Our daughter LOVES Two’s Together and Fairytail Princess. The structure is fantastic, so quaint. The instruction is the best. She is having more fun there than a parent can even hope for. Thank goodness this center opened in Tiburon, we are so lucky to have Miss Robin and all her years of experience in our community. Guess we moved here at just the right time.
