Pittman’s Cleaners & Shirt Laundry

Never again. The lady was very rude. I felt like I was a huge inconvenience. If you want your business to thrive, customers service needs an overhaul. I will absolutely be taking my business else where. Dry cleaners are a dime a dozen.

The staff I hate to say is rude. I brought in a total of 5 articles of clothing and cost $ 35. One of them was a new cashmere sweater and got it back looking like crap. All the person could say is our guy has 40 years experience. Just a note regulars less of experience mistakes happen and does not mean your good. Forget this place and find another. The rude staff and below average cleaning makes this place a fail

I had an AWFUL experience with David’s Bridal ruining my bridesmaid dress. I was able to get a new one and took it into Pittman’s for the alteration. They had it done in one day and it was half the price of what I had originally paid for. Friendly service and beyond helpful. Very knowledgeable in what they are doing. I highly recommend Pittman’s for dry cleaning services and alterations/​repairs.

Like the other reviewers, I went to Pittmans because its the name you think of when you live in Belton, and they’ve been around forever so I figured they had to be good. Wrong. As far as cleaning goes– they’re fine. whatever. same as any other place I’ve been to, nothing special. Prices are a little higher, so I’d expect something more. The customer service however, was some of the worst I’ve experienced at ANY business I’ve ever been a customer at. When you walk in, there’s usually about 1 – 2 minutes of awkwardly wondering if they’ve already closed and you somehow missed it, because no one greets you. When the woman finally came to help me, she acted the same way the other reviewer, Jonathan, described — I was a complete inconvenience to her. I tried to make small talk, and everything I said was given a one word reply. I hate leaving bad reviews and try my best to give people the benefit of the doubt — so please know that I was a repeat customer. I went there multiple times for cleanings and alterations (note, the women who did alterations were much nicer), all the while hoping this woman was having a bad day and would be more cheerful the next time– it never happened and I will never be going back.

If you’re looking for a basic laundry or dry cleaning job and it isn’t something you really care about, this might not be your first choice to take your clothes. If it’s a piece of clothing that you’d just die if it was ruined– these are the people to take it it to.
They are the only place I’ll trust with my most important items. They altered my prom and banquet dresses, and when I get married next year they’ll get my wedding dress as well. The cleaning is done very well, and stains are most always out of the clothes when they come back. The prices are a little higher, but they have a great attention to detail and do the job right.
