Cheaper Than Dirt

Do NOT buy from this business. The owner is not honest.
I live in Austin so I spoke with him over the phone and told him I needed a lot of compost to change my lawn to a xeriscape garden. He assured me his compost was of the best quality. His website guarantees customer satisfaction.
What was delivered to me was NOT screened. Full of clay clods ranging from the size of ping pong balls all the way to the size of large grapefruits as well as rocks, large twigs, even pieces of two by fours.
I requested that they come get the material and refund my money, but the owner was not interested in doing that, nor would he respond to my request that he at least refund some of the cost. He insisted this is how compost is, which is NOT true.
When I wrote this on Google reviews, he responded– on Google reviews– «I am truly sorry that you were not happy with the materials/​service that you received. It is our goal to ensure that all of our customers are completely satisfied each and every time. Our offer for a 100% refund is still available to you at anytime. We would also greatly appreciate the chance to earn your business back, should you ever need anything in the future.»
Yet he has not responded to my request that he make good on those words. I can only deduce those words are lies. So spare yourself trouble and heart ache and stay away.
