Super long wait for food. Wait staff was way behind the eight ball. The table next to us clearly had issues as well. They called the manager over because they waited an hour for food. Then we were served nasty food. Sadly have had the same experience at other Bob Evans restaurants. Never coming back to a Bob Evans. Enough is enough.

Service was great, it wasn’t busy(snowing outside) the food was hot and good. Bacon crisp, eggs not burnt. Place is clean, and all of the staff were helpful. I miss eating at Bob Evans(don’t have them where I currently live)

At first I thought the hostess was disorganized and not well trained. When she finally seated us, she was very pleasant although still rather rough around the edges. We waited quite awhile and finally decided she had failed to inform the wait staff that she seated us. My brother had to find a server and sure enough, she was not aware we were back there. As I observed the work flow in the restaurant(we had quite a long wait), I saw the«hostess» busting tables. Someone in my family had overheard some of the help discussing the fact that someone had not shown up for work. Must have been the hostess! After a lengthy wait, we received our food. Some of it was excellent and all of it was good. Since we were family meeting from out of town, we were going to visit anyway so it might as well have been here. But if you expect at least an average amount of time for service, you will become frustrated.

Unlike some of the other reviews, we came in at about 2:30pm, received excellent service, timely meals which were very good and could not be happier with it all. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend this location.

We only go here because its less crowded on weekends than other places. I do like the gravy for breakfast. There is an employee here maybe a manager that has an annoying laugh.

I rarely write reviews, don’t even know if I have wrote one on Unilocal before. However, this establishment made me so angry tonight I am compelled to write one. Let me start by saying this is not a place I would choose to go but my 80 year-old father loves it. Sooooo… He ordered his usual, the Blueberry Crepes. I ordered biscuits and gravy. The server brought out his crepes and told me their biscuits were hard so she was waiting on some new ones. Okay, no problem. 10 minutes later she brings me the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were hard as rocks. I would have broke a tooth if I had ate them. I wait 10 more minutes for her to come back. I tell her the biscuits are hard. She said«Okay, let me see what I can do.» The manager comes out and tells me they know the biscuits are hard and they have some more in the oven if I want to wait or asks if I want something else. At this point my dad is finished with his crepes. I tell her no thank you, please just take them off the bill. She brings us back the bill. We go up to the cashier to pay and I see she has taken $ 1.99 off the bill but the biscuits and gravy were $ 3.79. I tell the cashier. She goes to tell the manager. She comes back and says the manager didn’t make a mistake, the biscuits by themselves are $ 1.99. I guess she thought I would eat the gravy like soup??? I asked her for the number to corporate and she asked if I wanted to talk to the manger again. I said no, it’s not worth the $ 2 but please tell her that I think she is ridiculous, unprofessional and that I will be contacting corporate. I won’t go back so hopefully my dad will find someone else to take him to this place.

Should be no stars. We checked in for a table for two with a 10 minute wait with 2 parties ahead of us. The hosts proceeded to seat the two parties plus three parties who arrived after us. When I asked why, they had already crossed our name off. They never called our party. They cant manage something so simple, how can they manage a decent meal. This place is a joke.

Food order with eggs was wrong twice… over medium eggs don’t have runny egg whites… coffee wasn’t hot, service was extremely slow… I’ve eaten here a couple of times but I’m not going to bother again. Find a different place to eat if you are in Belton Missouri…

I had the fish and Chips with a side of biscuits. The fish was so freezer burnt it was tough and unedible. The biscuits were hard as rocks. When the manager asked how my meal was I told him about the fish and without saying he walked off while I was talking! I brought it to the attwntion of our waiter, Robert a very nice kid, at least he said he was sorry about the food. WEWILLNEVEREATTHEREAGAIN? Make sure the rest of the ROMEOS don’t eat there either.

Reminds me of a Denny’s/Cracker Barrel hybrid. The baked potato soup and the turkey bacon club are my current favorites. I liked the corn meal pancakes too. Large breakfast menu, that seems to be their forte. It’s a regular fall-back for us when we can’t decide what to eat.
