I came here because it was the only coffee shop I could find on Google Maps that wasn’t a Starbucks. The coffee is good and their staff isn’t as cold as their LED lighting.

First time here. I was excited to find a place in town with a large loose leaf tea selection. The possibilities in this place are enormous. Great products and space. Here’s the BUT: like most of Bell County, the customer service pretty much stinks. Great tea selection but all of our choices were out of stock. Hmm. No size options offered; umm 12 oz. is what we got with tea you could see thru. Yep, terrible steeping time. One was a tea latte and milk was not steamed. What the heck? Lastly, $ 10 for two 12 ounce cups of unsatisfying hot tea? The man working the counter was all over the place and unnecessarily rushing things and a bit rude. Sigh… Won’t be back.

I’ve been looking for a place that locally roasts coffee for a while, and finally found Arusha Coffee! I had an amazing Café Latte yesterday that makes Starbucks look like novices. Then was recommended the El Salvador Arabica coffee for a medium roast with full body flavor, and it was perfect! There is just no comparison in the taste and experience of drinking fresh roasted coffee. Definitely making this my go-​to coffee shop! #buylocal #buyfreshroasted #buyquality #buyfromArushaCoffee

This is one of this places where it is no surprise they have 5 stars. I’ve been here a few times and never had anything less than a super positive time. The coffee shop makes you feel at home and the staff are all amazing and friendly. There is plenty of room to sit back relax and just unwind from the long day. Or even a great way to start your day. The coffee is also amazing, even the simple cup of dark roast seem to be at another level that Starbucks could never dream of being at. There are also many options for buying coffee as well as tea when you walk in the door the aromas are so amazing and make you just want to take a seat and stY a whileI’d say if your in the area and want some coffee give this place a try and if your a true coffee lover you will enjoy your visit to this spot.

Love love love. It’s definitely a hidden gem and it’s worth a trip. Great variety of places to sit and you can even purchase neat gifts, loose leaf teas coffee beans etc. I had the chi tea latte and it was definitely more authentic than Starbucks, and full of flavor. I also tried the red velvet cheesecake muffin which was great as well. This is a go to spot for studying, small meetings, and so much more. I will absolutely recommend this place and make trips back to try more on the menu!

My absolute favorite place in the area.
Arusha has a great selection of coffee and tea, a few things to eat, incredibly chill ambiance and the friendliest staff ever. The coffee is consistently great and it’s so comfortable to spend some time reading or sitting with friends.
If you’re daunted by the wall of tea or don’t know what coffee you want, just ask the staff for a recommendation! They’re always quick to prepare my drinks and I buy my beans exclusively here now.
Definitely try out the Bourbon Streusel beans if you love coffee for breakfast. Becoming a regular here is impossible to avoid.

Interesting place. Eclectic comes to mind. Coffee was delicious and this is my new Belton area coffee fix. My wife got a tea. It was decent but we were surprised it was $ 6. Im sure they have other tea more reasonably priced.

This place is a hidden gem. Spacious, comfortable, and pretty quiet whenever I have been there. You can have a conversation without the entire store able to hear (unlike many coffee shops.) They several drinks (teas, coffee, espresso) and pastries to choose from. I’ve had their tea and lattes and have no complaints! The owner is also so nice and friendly! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to catch up with friends, study, or simply just want to sit and enjoy a nice beverage.

This is a gorgeous old space. So many choices of where and how to relax: tables, stools, a couch, comfy chairs. The house brew (black) is delicious and smooth. Food choices are all sweet: muffins, scones, and even some baklava. I’m not a tea drinker, but from my perspective they couldn’t do a better job with presentation or selection.
Really just perfect.

I love that this is some place different in this small town! The staff is very helpful and friendly and will answer any questions you have about the variety of teas. They have a huge selection of loose leaf and herbal teas, as well as coffee and blended iced coffee drinks. There’s a pool table to play also, which is fun. My only complaint is that there is a dart board, but no darts. I wish they would fix that so that people could play darts when the pool table is occupied. Other than that, this place is awesome!

This place looks really cool inside and I like their mexican hot chocolate. They have a huge selection of loose leaf teas that they will brew for you. They also have a sign on the wall that says if you are hungry and in need, you will be treated with dignity and given a PB&J and glass of water. I think that’s pretty cool.
I didn’t rate it higher because the service can be quite slow. There is often only one person taking orders and making the drinks. They had a pretty regular flow of customers, so I think another person was needed. One day I went there and ordered a drink and their credit card machine went off-​line. The barista apologized but instead of giving me my drink on the house (which is what they should have done) or even making my drink and then saying I could pay later if I was still there when the machine went back online, I had to walk a few blocks in the Texas heat to an ATM. Under other circumstances I might have just left without a drink, but I was meeting a friend there and quite thirsty. By the time I got back from the ATM, the machine was up and running. I think offering me something for my trouble, like a free pastry or drink coupon, would have been the appropriate thing to do.

I have declared this my favorite place in Belton. I cannot describe the calming atmosphere this establishment has created. You can get coffee anywhere. What Arusha has created is worth a visit.

Great place to study, helpful waitstaff, and super cool environment. Didn’t expect to find a place like this here. Highly recommended for studying and/​or just hanging out for a while.

Just down the road from the University of Mary Hardin-​Baylor and not far from I-​35, Arusha is the kind of coffee (and tea) shop that every college town should have. It’s in a reclaimed, older downtown-​style building with high ceilings and lots of character. They’ve made good use of the space; there are plenty of tables and chairs. It was quiet when we were there, but the pool table suggested that the environment could be fun as well as studious.

Owner is knowledgable and friendly. Wide selection of coffee and tea. If you don’t see something you like, just let the staff know what you’re craving and they can make something special for you. The atmosphere is hip — love the building!

Absolutely wonderful coffee and tea shop! I came back to my hometown, Belton Tx, to visit for the weekend and so glad I came across this place!

Great calm and welcoming atmosphere and super friendly staff. They make all their coffee beans in-​house. I had a ginger bread latte (super yummy) and bought 2 oz. of «dreamy mint» tea (smells fantastic)!
& he threw in some Ethiopian coffee beans for free!
I will most definitely come here every time I visit Belton.
