The food was a disappointment. The tenders where not crispy, just flaccid and dry. The fries where disgusting! I didn’t even eat half the dinner Buffalo chicken tenders plate. Such a waste of money !!

I love Nick’s! I work locally and get a greek salad at least two to three times a week for lunch and never get sick of them! They also have great marinated chicken and steak tips to top the salad. The staff is always friendly and they have some gluten free options(pizza, fries ect.)

Do not order from here. They overcharge with no explanation and are very rude. Food leaves much to be desired. I’ve ordered the same pizza three different times and each time it was a different price. And this time it wasn’t even the right pizza.

They suck and the girls who they have answering the calls are clueless… what pizza shop doesn’t have red peppers… Like come on… and then their large sub and small sub is like a $ 1 difference… Just not having red peppers alone makes me never want to order from them. Step up your business skills nicks pizza!

I work down the street from this place and have gone here a lot of times. This is a very good restaurant, very friendly, great food… thumbs up all around.

Pizza I’d avg probably a 3. Steak and cheese well not so much. It’s minced and stringy. Hardly any cheese and dry as cardboard. Fries are a ripoff a small fry $ 3.35 order is a 3rd of the taste. Not sure why such high stats.

Got Seafood sub(ordered with lettuce and tomato, delivered without), spinach roll(like and egg roll, but with spinach and cheese), and Greek Salad(quite good: fresh lettuce, great dressing… although it was more like a peppercorn ranch than a traditional greek… and I think there was mozzerella instead of feta) The food was good, but nothing to write home about. I was disappointed that they repeated the oft-reported«took my order wrong», even it was as minor as no lettuce and tomato. Order estimated at 30 – 45 minutes delivery, actually came in around 55 min. I’ll order from my standby, Theo’s, next time, they always get my order right.

The standard pizza/sub/burger joint. Pizza by the slice is consistently good, and the subs are amazing. The fries are generally soggy, especially when ordering delivery, although you do get a lot. Haven’t tried the catering. If you’re in the center and you need food fast, you can’t go wrong with Nick’s Place II.

For three or more years, twice a week, get lunch here. The Greek salad with feta is excellent… always. Fresh lettuce. The feta cheese, has a nice bite to it. Sometimes get Greek salad topped with chicken salad, or Tuna salad on it. Both excellent. Large size, moderate prices. I don’t get the pita or dressing, instead get straight oil which is on my low carbs diet. I like that its a family that owns and works there. Might they forget something in a sub? It’s possible. But I’ve ordered the roast beef sandwich with mayo, BBQ sauce, pickles, onions, etc… delivered as expected… big and good. I’m getting hungry.

Went in today for a steak tip salad & cheese burger. Salad is 95% brown lettuce and 3 very small steak tips. NOT A GOODDEAL! Also I can’t begin to describe the burger. I have shoes that would be more tender & juicy. Must have been cooked for a week, tomatoes were a pink color not found in nature and lettuce was browner and more wilted than what was in the salad. Would not eat here again nor suggest to anyone else to eat here. A minus 3 stars!

Personally I like this place way better than Brothers Pizza in Belmont. When it comes to Italian subs they have it right. They have the typical cold cuts and the«hots» pepper relish. I’ve also gotten their grilled chicken salads here(which typically I would have to take two days to eat one portion). Also, I’ve gotten their chicken cutlet subs. They are constantly busy. But food is great and price is ok.

Junior roast beef with lettuce, tomato, mayo and sauce is the best roast beef sandwich around. Their B.L.T sub is another favorite of mine as well as their kabob salads(outstanding with balsamic dressing). These menu items are worth the visit.

I have been here 4 times. Three times for their well known Roast Beef sandwich. Well 2 of 3 were bad. Pizza? standard greek style nothing special. Some people say the sandwiches are good but I have trouble going back. Lots of other choices in Belmont Center or other areas of Belmont.

I’m from California so what do I know about good Italian pasta and pizza? Well, I know what I like, and I would definitely have Italian food from Nick’s again next time we are visiting my bf’s family! His parents got take-out from their fave place around the corner for us — twice! Loved their spaghetti and meatballs(tasty, tender and mmm good!) and their cheese pizza(piping hot fresh from the oven, cheese-y and yummy tomato sauce — oh we loved it and we ate it up!). I am still dreaming about that pizza as we are back in San Francisco now. Next time we are in town, we are definitely ordering from Nick’s again. My bf’s parents are regulars so they know what’s good! Thank you, Nick’s! Happy New Year! :)

Good solid lunch spot. I pretty much order the same thing every time: chicken kabob salad. You get a nice salad with a huge amount of chicken on top. I tried the steak tip salad. Tasty, but by volume you get about 1⁄3 the amount of steak vs. the amount of chicken. I’ve never had the pizza and never will, so I can’t comment on that. If you like a good sized salad though, Nick’s will do you right.

I ordered a roast beef sandwich. they gave me a fish fillet. Since it was a pickup order and i didnt realize the mistake until i got back to my office, i was stuck. That said i will review the fish fillet. If it wasnt for the texture i wouldnt have been able to tell it was fish. It tasted like absolutely nothing.

My first time here easily was about 4 stars. We just got two subs and fries but the people working there were nice and the food tasted fresh. Less than two miles from out house this seemed perfect. Last night we go again, this time I get a sub and the husband a small pizza. I called in the order and thought all was fine. Small cold veggie with mayo and provolone and his pizza, ok and some fries. He gets back from picking it up and I unwrap my sub, it’s not cut in half. Weird, but I can work with it. Then I look inside, it’s lettuce, tomato and onion. No cheese. No mayo. I was already having one of those days and now this was adding to it. Yes, I know, minor error but when you have to drive back and get it and you’re starving it kind of stinks. He was nice enough to call and explain what happened. They offer to make another one and ask if I want hots on it, to which I say yes. He goes and picks it up. To make up for the error they gave me a large, which was a nice gesture, but there’s no hots which they specifically asked me about. I’m not going to write them off yet, they’ll get one more shot. I have faith. The husband’s pizza was good, so that will save them for now!

I have gone to Nick’s Place II many times since it first opened after much anticipation as it took over the location that used to be The Italian Food Shop which was a dive but had decent pizza. The totally redone Nick’s place is in a very convenient location and they do a lot of business because of their location. The thing that I like here is the sirloin steak tips which are reasonably priced and better than average. You can get them in a sub or the way I prefer in a salad. The steak tip salad for about 8 dollars is very good, though it is made with your standard iceberg lettuce. Ask them to hold the feta or you will have that surprise as it is a Greek style pizzeria as are most around Boston unfortunately. The pizza is your standard Greek fare: fake/bad cheese, same sauce you find anywhere out of the can and greasy. The pizza deserves one star. Their steak and cheese sub is pretty good and they give you an ample amount. The service here is a bit gruff but not in a mean way. Also, if you are looking for late night, they often close earlier than the 10 or 10:30PM posted. The place is packed at lunch time when they do most of their business.

Really great place for a pizza and sub shop. GIGNORMOUS sized portions. Huge fresh salads and subs. Fast and friendly service. Very busy at lunchtime so you may want to order early. Parking is street only and on that tunnel crazy intersection so be for-warned.
