Gone are the days where you need to commute to NYC for the cutting edge in high quality artisan home goods – nestled in a converted industrial brick building, Artefact is a destination in and of itself.
Artefact is also proof that doing what you love shows in the quality of your work: co-​owners Sue and Maureen are as pleasant as they are knowledgable about everything home-​related, from container gardens to metal work to sofa fabrics, these ladies are like the nicest walking encyclopedias you have ever met! (with a standout aesthetic eye that makes the store feel more like a slice of heaven than a shop). Each product is thoughtfully hand selected and the attention to detail is apparent from the moment you enter. The only complaint I have is that I struggle to stay away – visit once and you’re almost guaranteed to be a devoted customer.

Plain and simple, everything in this store is amazing. I was blown away by the uniqueness and quality of their products. Their light fixtures are unlike any I have seen and their table décor is impeccable. You can really tell that everything in that store was carefully thought out and selected. The owners are two sisters who are extremely knowledgeable and just downright kindhearted people. Their items are pricey, but they are worth it.

What an awesome store Artefact Home & Garden is. It is housed in a cool, industrial looking building with high ceilings and huge windows. They sell an array of unique, one of a kind pieces from an oversized dining bench and table, awesome lamps and chandeliers, plates, platters, glasses, furniture, etc. I wish we had higher ceilings, would love to have some of the giant chandeliers from this pretty store.
The store is a bit pricey, but they sell unique things.

2 478… yes, belmont… not exactly a bastion of design excellence… but there it is: ARTEFACT: housed in a marvellous space– filled with great things… wonderful upholstered pieces, fab selection of upholstery grade linen, charming flatware and glassware… lovely gift items. visit/​see/​be delighted. owners are on site and they run this place with charm and gracious aplomb
