Don’t be off put by this gas station pizza– it is by far my favorite pizza in Bellingham! Their crust is thin, toppings are delicious(and mostly local/organic too!) and their homemade ranch is to die for. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that occasionally the customer service is a bit lacking, and orders can take quite a while to complete. Though that being said, I’ve never had a problem with my pizza and everything is consistently delicious!

Amazing pizza! So glad I tried this pizza out. I really wished they had a place to sit to eat the pizza since we came from Burligton to try it. The service was a lil cold but I really wasn’t looking for good service just really really good pizza and they nailed it. My daughter still talks about this pizza and she’s 5. Ha!

Great pizza! Love the wheat crust and pizza by the slice options. Love that they use local and natural ingredients!

With a light, bubbly crust and we’ll proportioned amount of toppings this pizza is my favorite in Bellingham. The other day I went in and the lady heating my slices was friendly and in a good mood. Ingredients are always fresh and many are local. It’s great that there are 2 locations. I highly recommend grabbing a slice or a while pie.

I love the pizza and the grinders! Everything tastes so fresh! My kids actually prefer the wheat crust over the white! I think it’s fun that they are located in a gas station — makes the fact the food tastes gourmet more surprising! I’m a regular customer and plan on continuing my regular business. I so appreciate that Will and Erica are listening to the customer reviews and making necessary changes. Keep up the good work!

I seriously love the pizza here. However, like others have said the customer service is making me consider if it’s worth the trouble. Recently I called in an order and the guy answering the phone couldn’t have been more rude. He asked me to hold, no problem, when he came back it was like me still being on the phone was the most irritating thing that had ever happened to him. We got our pizza and it was delicious. I figured it was an isolated incident… Nope. This last Sunday I called to order a few pizzas, once again I was met with a shitty attitude… We both suffered through the phone ordering experience and I was told it would be 40 min, again no problem… 40 min later my husband went to pick up our pizza and he was met by a woman saying the guy who took our order left sick and must have forgotten our order… Wtf!?! She quickly made our pizzas(they were tasty) and burned a few slices of cheese for our nephew. Pizzaza makes great pizza but they have too much competition, I don’t really like dealing with unhappy jerks when I don’t have to. I likely won’t bother with them anymore. Ps… The guy who works on Sunday’s should probably have a job where he doesn’t have to work with the public.

Pizza is the best ! Unfortunately the guy is really rude every time I come, and from what I can tell is rude to everyone. But I’ll keep coming back because hands down best pizza.

The pizza here is very good, for a while it was what I considered the best in Bellingham, but there’s considerably more competition these days, even in Fairhaven. Still delicious though. On the downside, the staff behind the counter are typically so over the top unpleasant that it’s actually comical. They really act like they would rather be doing anything else in the world. I realize that making pizza in a gas station might not be «living the dream», but come on guys, a little customer appreciation won’t kill you.

Pizza is always delicious, comes out the same everytime, best new york style in bellingham that I know of. Staff is usually great, except for this one guy. But if you take the chance the odds are in your favor of getting a nice employee. Don’t be fooled because it is in a gas station.

The pizza is delicious here, but the guy behind the pizza line seems to be having a bad day every day. My phone call was handled curtly, and a minor correction to an order wasmet with an exhasperated sigh and an «I suppose so.» Mind you, the order correction was made at the end of the phone call, so he hadn’t even started making the pizza yet. When I picked up the pizza, he slid it across the counter and said«here,» and immediately turned his back. When I offered a credit card tip, he said«I’ll only see a few percent of it, so whatever,» which is uncalled for — be appreciative. TL;DR, sorry you’re unhappy, but thanks for making delicious pizza.

Hesitant to try«gas station pizza»? Do not hesitate! Truly great pizza prepared a slice at a time or an entire pie. The crust is thin and baked to perfection, with a great balance between sauce, cheese and toppings. All ingredients are first quality, including kalamata olives. This is a perfect East Coast pizza slice, at a very modest price. I stop by two or three times a week for a quick lunch or an early diner. Stop and give it a try — I doubt you will be disappointed. Given the amount of locals who walk to this location from nearby business locations and homes, others agree with my assessment. Great pizza.

Love their unique specialty pizzas. They craft their own sausage meat and you can taste the care and attention. Everything is fresh and local, really nice crust and not too heavily sauced. This has become a regular stop for us now that we live close by. Good idea to call ahead on a Friday night so you aren’t disappointed! Hoping that the new construction can result in an extra oven for them.

I sent the letter below to Pizza’zza a few days ago. I still have not received a response. Today at around 4 pm I stopped by your Fairhaven location to buy a burger. It was great! Unfortunately, the service was not. I was in the customer service industry for many years, and I can tell when a service provider is having a bad day, or potentially burned out on service work. Either way, I was spoken to in a very condescending manner and made to feel just a little stupid. I had my two young daughters with me and made it through the contruction to find 4 or 5 white tubs on the counter where you order. The man who was working was cleaning so I waited for a very short moment before he turned around. Maybe he thought I looked put out, but I was in no way feeling slighted by having to wait a moment. I asked if he was open because of the tubs and the cleaning and then it began. He said«no» in a very rude way. You know when people smile at you with a look of incredulity that you could ask such a stupid question or dare to think something different than them? It was like that. I was a bit shocked but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Then he informed me that«there is a bell.» He acted like I was angry and he was defending himself! I was not upset because, again, I didn’t have to wait but a moment. It was such a strange interaction. Then I asked him if he needed my card so I could pay and AGAIN was made to feel like an idiot for not know that you pay at the gas station counter, not where you order. The lady at the counter of the gas station even said, «Not making it easy on you.» I agree, maam. Needless to say, great food(and local, grass-fed, organic, etc.) that I love or not, I won’t be back. I’m really sad about that. I felt embarrassed, misunderstood, and mistified by his behavior. I think he has worked there for a while. Maybe it’s you who is reading this now. If so, please, whether you are having a bad day or are just tired of customer service, think about how you treat people. Thanks for your time.

Super cool that this place is so close to my condo in Fairhaven! Local ingredients, which I love. Pizza by the slice is a great to-go option, if a bit pricey. Fun, creative pizza toppings and combos. Don’t let the fact that it’s inside a gas station scare you away.

I would really like to try the sandwiches at Pizzazza because the bread comes from Breadfarm and they use Hempler’s and Applegate Farm meats, which are all my favorites — but I can’t seem to stop ordering their pizza — because it’s just that good! Our friends who haven’t eaten this pizza can’t believe we live almost a half hour away and still make the trip into Bellingham just to buy pizza at a place that’s inside a gas station! I actually like paying at the main register because I can add drinks or other items from the grocery area. It means the people making pizzas don’t have to break away to take payment and also that they aren’t handling money. I’ve had nothing but great experiences when it comes to customer service! My husband and I have very different preferences when it comes to pizza. We are usually happy to compromise, but not when we go to Pizzazza. He gets a signature meat combination with red sauce, and I order the pesto sauce with veggies. The added ingredients are very generous, so if you want only a sprinkling of jalapenos or garlic, it’s possible to order a half topping, which I think is fantastic! That means I can add loads of red onion but only a half topping of kalamata olives. Because we are getting two pizzas, it means there are leftovers, which we warm up the next day in a frying pan on low heat until the bottom is crispy and the cheese is melted — YUM!

I have eaten at Pizzazza in Fairhaven twice. They were both terrible experiences! The first time, they royally screwed up our order and overcharged us. I figured everyone has off days. They offer such great ingredients that I really wanted to like the place. So I found myself getting another pizza from them tonight. What a mistake! I called in an order for one of their signature pizzas. The customer service skills of the man on the phone were far from great, but I wasn’t bothered by that. He said it would be ready in 20 minutes. We showed up 25 minutes later and preceded to wait in the gas station for another 15 minutes. For the first 5 minutes, I stood at the counter without anyone acknowledging me despite there being 3 people behind the counter. There was a huge, uncovered pan of tomato sauce inches in front of me on the service counter. I couldn’t help but wonder how many customers with colds had coughed into that pan while waiting to order. The woman printed my slip which I had to take to the register to pay. I appreciate the way this keeps the people making the food from handling money. That appreciation disappeared as I watched another customer hand one of the men behind the counter a coupon and a reward card. He took the coupon and swiped her card and then sliced my pizza with his bare, unwashed hands! The woman behind the counter did the same thing with another customer. Now, I’m not a germ freak. I’m not easily bothered by these things. But they have no idea where that coupon has been! For both of them to do that within a five minute period, in full sight of customers, it must be a completely normal thing for them. I also watched the third employee wipe his hands on his t-shirt and then go back to handling the pizza dough. Combined, it was all pretty disturbing. At this point, I still hadn’t paid and was very tempted to walk out, but I’m not someone who does things like that. So instead, I paid and accepted my pizza that I knew could get me sick. It wasn’t until I got home that I noticed that I was charged $ 28.34 for a pizza that is listed on the menu as $ 21.49! Tax certainly doesn’t add $ 7! After my first visit, I called to tell them that I had been overcharged. I was very polite, but the woman didn’t even apologize! She told me there was nothing she could do and said, «I guess you could email the owner if you really want to.» This time, I didn’t even try to complain. I’ll take that lost money as my lesson, hope I don’t get sick, and tell my friends to pass this place by!

Great customer service. I brought up an ingredient issue they were having with one of their suppliers via FB and the owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. Their pizza’s good too.

Yes, this is a pizza joint in a gas station, and they have some of the best pizza in town. You can tell they use fresh and high quality ingredients. I also appreciate the variety of vegetarian options. The sandwiches are good too, try the veggie mushroom cheese«steak» grinder. Amazing. Prices and service are good too. I’ll definitely be back.

We ordered a pizza, with mushrooms on the meatza pizza; he told me it would be 45 mins to 1 hour. I said ok 45 mins. He said to one hour. Ok. I said. We got there 9 mins early(51 mins). He said we haven’t started the pizza it will take 10 mins. We went back, still wasn’t done. Then when we got it we said. There’s no mushrooms. After we paid. He says .oh sorry… we said just give me my money back for the mushrooms(about $ 1.00), he said sorry only the boss can do that. This is for The Boss. You lost a customer for your expensive pizza! May want to talk to your employees. Good pizza is one thing, good service is what really separates you from the rest!
