Where to start? I showed up over here not long ago to purchase a car I found online. After a test drive and my husband chit chatting with Bruce, we decided to move forward. As far as financing they only offer BECU. According to Bruce they only accept people with stellar credit. So he decides to «sell» the car to Chaplins VW and they will finance it through Wells Fargo. He informs me that there is a $ 300 financing fee for Wells Fargo to do the deal. What? That SHOULD have been the first red flag.
I go down to Chaplins. They finance it but then tell me that I need to take the $ 300 down to Bruce. Red Flag, again. After thoroughly reviewing all the paperwork there’s nothing about $ 300. Dude, if you want $ 300 to do the deal just tell me. Why lie?
Okay. I get the car and drive it home. Tire pressure lights come on. I figure it’s just a sensor since the car had brand new tires. No biggie. Engine light comes on and out side of my house the car starts bouncing around. Sigh, okay let me take it down to my mechanic. It needed $ 2000 worth of repairs. I take that info to Bruce. He then tries to convince me that most of things, my mechanic was wrong about (at least all of the big things) and offers to have his mechanic do all of the small and unimportant things. He kept insinuating my mechanic was trying to screw me. Um my mechanic specializes in Audis which my old car and my new car I had just bought were. He’s worked on all of our cars for years. He is also a very good friend of my husbands. So no I’m not buying it. I don’t mind some repairs (see my review of another auto dealer) but this was straight out misrepresented. I’m pretty sure all of those lights were cleared so I wouldn’t see it.
There was a little more action but no need boring you. We went back to Chaplins and told them we don’t want the car. They refunded my down payment and took the car back. I’ve yet to see my $ 300 from Bruce which was an obvious lie since he even told us he’d put that towards repairs. Yeah I had fun wasting several days on this fiasco and losing my money. Next time it’s straight to the Audi dealership!

A truly honest car dealership. I had been looking for a car and after several attempts at other dealerships a friend told me about this one and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This was the best experience I’ve had buying a car. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back or send friends and family to Bruce!

I wish there was a zero star.
CAUTION!
The guy on the lot was a liar and rude. First I walked into his office not to be greeted by anyone, and practically had to pull him out away from his computer to the car that I wanted to drive. I drove the car straight to my mechanic to have it checked over, to find there was about $ 800 in maintenance needed, not to include all the little cosmetic stuff on the car. So I drove back to the lot to be fed line after line, «Oh i just got off the phone with a guy who needs a car tonight and has cash!» «There are 3 others that want this car if you don’t» He would not even flex with the price of the car (Even though when he first showed me the car he said it was going to auction the next day) even after I showed him the maintenance report. So, I asked him to call one of these «potential buyers» because i mean who really likes being lied to. Said he couldn’t, so needless to say I left as fast as i could.
Went to craigslist found a car for half the price and twice as good of condition 2 days later.
